    -Cut & placed microfiber cloth between screw & disc.
    -Spray water on pad & disc, 10 secs Coarse, wipe disc
    -Spray water, 10 secs Soft, wipe disc
    -Spray water, 1 min white, wipe disc
    -Spray water, 1 min blue, wipe disc
    Followed steps to the tee but unfortunately leaves tiny scratches all over disc & forms swirl on the center. 😕

    You probably already know this, but an excellent replacement for the blue and white compounds can be found at any automotive store. Get a bottle of MacGuires Ultimate Compound as a replacement for the white, and MacGuires Ultimate Polish as replacement for the blue. Its much cheaper, smells better and in my opinion, works better. Been using it for a while now.

      Better still, buy the Meguiars Plast RX alone and it works perfectly, and even better than both the white and blue JFJ ones. By using just the one you save on buffing pads too, which I find expensive. On that note, anyone know of an alternative that works?

    Battery washers work well to cover the inner plastic ring (like for your car). I like to do 1 minute on the white pad, 1 minute with the blue, and 1 minute on the black (no sandpaper). Comes out perfect everytime.

    • @Tim3888
      @Tim3888 Рік тому +2

      @@miladanki8380 they usually come in 2 segments, like an outer ring and inner ring, i just pop out the inner ring and use that with no modification.
      All your'e really doing is creating a small spacer between the disc and the screwnut so that the the washer prevents too much heat transfering to the disc in that area.

    I've noticed that if you use the foam sanding pad without the sandpaper on it after the 2 buffing steps and spray it with water, it looks even better. I also use a cheap car towel that I got at the Dollar Tree for wiping down the disc. Doing this makes the disc look like its brand new.

    Had my JFJ for a few years. It has paid for itself several times over.
    I don't use the sanding pads hardly ever. 2 minutes on white, 2 minutes on blue, then wipe. Bam!

    Bro a question, i have a mario kart double dash for the gamecube. I went to the professional disc repair resurface game store. They cleaned it professionally (disc resurfaced machine) twice, first time highest level and second time on a lower level. There are no scratches at all, the disc looks almost brand new, however, when i play it, it all works, except when you go from one level to the other level. Then i get the message on the screen to turn of the power button of my nintendo, i have the same issue with the wii and the gamecube while playing this game. Please what seems to be the problem? Should i go to let the disc to be repaired professionally again?

    ☆☆☆☆☆Generally it works to apply and oil like peanut oil to the area of the disc that is scratched. Once you're able to read the disc, you can copy the disc to another disk for backup. I have done this mini times and it works marvelously without any effort whatsoever.

    I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of the swirls. How wet are your white and blue pads before you put them in the system. And how much blue polish do you put on the pad? Do you do 5 drops of blue polish on each side of the pad? Do you rub it into the pad? It looks almost like you applied no compound to the blue pad at all.
