- Pork Blood Soup (aka 豬血湯 / zhū xiě tāng) is a very popular Taiwanese dish. The main ingredient is Pork Blood that is cooked into cubes and simmered with other pork ingredients. I have never tried Pork Blood Soup (豬血湯) in my life and past vacations in Taiwan. Butt my mother does, and did like it, only have it occasionally. 🍲
Also, I only know that pork blood is one of the primary ingredients for food seasoning, as well as unhealthy if eating too much.

My go-to-soup for any occasion! Interesting how u shared the recipe like it was clam chowder! I add pig intestine, tongue, heart, skin, knuckles, stomache and brain.
Ive had duck blood in spicy soup at a Taipei night market. It was delish. In Los Angeles, buying pork blood is hit and miss. Oftentimes it is dry and gritty rather than silky.
I've never seen pork blood served in cubes before! It looks savory as fffff. Imma try this recipe sometime 😋
The essence of this soup is being fresh, and a perfact match should be pork rice.

Glad you're back. I have health issues, wish there are vegetarian or low fat version of this. There are vegetarian blood cakes but I'm not aware of anything similar to this.
