The enduring faith in such a difficult time is incredible.
All I can say is Amen. I am surprised I have never seen this video until now so many years later. I was classmates with Todd Beamer and Mark Bingham at Los Gatos High School. I did not know Todd very well, but am still proud to be a fellow Wildcat with him. Both of them, along with all the other passengers and crew on that flight, are true heroes.
Todd's kids David, Drew, and Morgan are 24, 22 and 20
May Todd's soul rest in paradise forever. In Jesus's name, we pray, Amen.

What a powerful story. I loved her reference of The Lord's Prayer and how she came to the revelation that her husband had the presence of mind to forgive the evildoers in front of him. I started reading The Lord's Prayer also and the prayer also asks God to deliver us from evil. This wonderful man had a special covering over him, big enough that God gave him authority to rise above that evil to stop it from further causing more damage and killing more people wherever it was headed to. His testimony will surely impact his generations and lives on.
Ahhhh.... SO GRATEFUL for you both, Todd and Lisa. Your book "Let's Roll" was such a blessing to me and to us all. My faith has been increased and my clarity as well. Thank you Lisa! You are a superb example of a woman seeking the Lord every day, every moment. God bless you always :D

As someone who wasn’t even alive during the events of 9/11, I can say that Todd is a true hero and his actions have inspired millions after his sacrifice. We will never forget
I wasn't alive when it happened, I was born in 2004. I just learned of him (in particular) this morning.
He was a brave heart and soul. Imagine the protector he was over his family. He put along with others put their lives on the line to save everyone on the plane. " Let's roll" rest in power, Mr. Beamer.

She is a remarkable woman. The amount of faith she has and puts into every aspect of her life is amazing. I read "Let's Roll" in 2 or 3 days because I just couldn't put it down. It was very well layed out, weaves faith throughout, and is such a beautiful story about their entire family. When she recounts that day I was crying with her, saying to myself, "If only their plane had been held up for a little while longer, like another 30-45 minutes...", but their faith is so inspiring. RIP Todd Beamer. Amazing job, Lisa. I hope for the best for you all. ❤

First time I have seen this. I agree that Todd is a hero, but I would also like to acknowledge the other men who assisted him that day and recognize them as heroes also. Mr. Burnett, Glick, and Mr. Bingham. True heroes.
We absolutely agree. We are humbled by all the heroes on that flight, and all the other unnamed heroes on the ground in New York and in Washington, VA on that tragic day.

That was the last thing he said before he and other passengers rushed the cockpit that had been overtaken by the hijackers. They had heard about the other planes being used as weapons and knew they had to do something to not let their flight meet the same ending.
His poor daughter and only daughter didnt even get to meet him but her brothers got to love him. I dont know which sounds worse. 😢
