I lost my beloved sister two years ago from cancer, only 10 days after her diagnosis. She was like my second mom. I miss her dearly. She would always say, she didn't want anyone to wear black at her funeral and no one did.
And beyond!! What a beautiful sister and friend as I feel the same for my fun and caring older sister. Thank you for “reminding” me to stay true to what really counts. 💕
I too lost my father at 13, I’m am the youngest of 6 and I am an identical twin, we made sure our mother who was left a widow at 44 was cared for by us even at such a young age until she passed away shortly after my 40th birthday. I and my twin sister at just turned 58 have outlived our 4 siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, all who died in their late 40’s and mid 50’s, 2 within 11 months of each other and two within 6 months of each other. Myself and my twin nursed a brother and sister through cancer, watched another brother die from cancer and a sister from a massive stroke all within 6 years. We were the closest of siblings and our sister Linda remained at home with our mummy and cared for our children while we worked, I saw her every day of my life, she was in reality my other “twin”, life is fleeting indeed, I also don’t have much in the way of material things but I make up for it in emotional memories with what little family I have left, deepest sympathy on your loss and may your sisters memory sooth your grief and give you strength on your hardest days xx
Your story is filled with pain. And love. And life. And death. And survival. Thank you for so generously sharing your experiences with me, and all of us. It gives us hope that we can find our way through devastating losses . If you can do it, so can we.

I’m so sorry. And such a beautiful tribute to your sister. If she was ill, I wish her peace and joy in fact she’s no longer in pain. Love to you and her!
I can't believe I just came across this, Megyn, as I am flying my oldest sister in tomorrow for my daughter's wedding. I am 58. and she is 76 and not in good health. I told my husband that 'I have to see my sister." We never know how much time we have. Your beautiful tribute reminded me of our relationship. It made me cry for your loss and smile for the wonderful memories that will live on with you. Thank you for sharing such a deep personal story.
Thank you for sharing with us your precious memories of your wonderful sister. So sad and so sorry she's gone ❤ Remember how she loved you❤ And when you miss her, give yourself the same love.
I don't know about anyone else, but this brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful tribute to her sister. RIP Suzanne. "Beside the still waters her lot is cast "
I have a new respect for Megyn. It takes a really strong human to deliver, with strength, such a beautiful tribute for a loved one. I’m not certain I could be that strong in the same situation.
Wonderful! God Bless you! My friend Brandon just passed away he was 38. Love bridges all gaps and fills all voids. It is wrought through the people in our life.
I don't know how you got through your tribute without crying. :( May God bless you and keep your family and Suzanne's children safe in His loving arms. My deepest sympathy ...
I lost one sister 50 years ago. She was my closest friend and only 17. Every big event in my life and she wasn't there to share them with me, my wedding, the births of my children, my college graduation, I missed her and it still hurts every time 💔
Megyn, I have always been a fan of yours but I must admit that this tribute to your sister has put you way above other podcasters. Thank you for sharing this with us, even when there is still a big ache in your heart. Your sister did a fine job in shaping a beautiful Megyn Kelly. In the coming months and years when the heartache becomes unbearable, recall all the many, many, many good times you shared with her. God bless xxxxxx
This hit home for me. 23 years ago, I lost my younger sister. It doesn't matter how old you are, or how old they were at the time...the loss of a sibling hits you different. There are still times when I get choked up talking about her, even after all these years. My sincerest condolences to you and your family, and kudos on a wonderful tribute to your sister.
What a beautiful tribute, Megyn. I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. I especially love the bear story. She was a mama bear herself there. May she Rest In Peace.
I couldn't control my tears listening to your beautiful memories of Suzanne. Im so sorry for the loss of your sister. May your beautiful sister Suzanne rest in peace. 🙏❤️
She no longer knows the meaning of the word PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! She will no longer need to rest, since God has so much for her to do!! Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😀😃😄
I lost my little sister 22 years ago, she was 40. I think of her everyday. We were very close, and I have funny memories like yourself. I hang onto those memories tightly. I’m grateful that we were close and that we had a great relationship. I miss her every single day after all of these years. I’m sorry for your loss…I get it. 💕
This was heart wrenching...Ms. Kelly, I am sorry for your loss. I have the greatest respect for you and I have no doubt that Suzanne was one of a kind. She left behind a wonderful sister. God Bless.
I have never seen this tribute. I have lost two siblings and know your pain but be proud of your courage to speak of your grief. I love your loving words!❤
So very sorry. I have had 5 sisters ,die and I know the pain of losing them. It's been hard without them. But you carry on. You seem like a very strong person. Love the family you have. They will need you. Her children and your mom and the family you still have. Glad you had fun while she was with you. I was the youngest so it's been a challenge. My two bff died also. You grieve but it's still painful. So I know you will do the best you can. Much love to you and your mom and the family you still have. GOD Bless. 🙏🙏♥️♥️
Oh my that was so sweet and powerful. Sending prayers and a virtual hug. Even if you try to keep your head up and know they are headed to a pain free place it hurts. May God keep you wrapped in is loving embrace. God bless you.
I am wiping tears. This was a beautiul and poignant tribute. Thank you Megyn. It is so obvious you loved your sister deeply. I am so sorry for your loss.
What a heartfelt and beautiful tribute to your sister. You said that she never got the chance to speak of her victory over addiction, but she did... through you. Her triumph and her legacy touched me, as I'm sure it has touched others. And who knows how many people, even if just one person, got the help they needed because of her story. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's only a temporary 'Goodbye' until you meet again. ❤ God bless you and your family.
So very generous of you Megyn to share with us this very personal and heartfelt tribute to your sister. My sincere condolences for your sad loss. Love and prayers from the UK 🙏🇬🇧
I lost my first brother when he was 43yrs old. Liver failure. He wouldn't even take a headache tablet. But red wine he drank a lot. It got him im the end. Broke my heart. I pray he is at peace now 🙏
You made me cry Megyn. I'm 64 yrs old and have two, older sisters who also took care of me. I too "felt comforted, having them around". I was being bullied from another girl in middle school. One of my sisters came to my school, found the girl, grabbed her from her coat and said "you better leave my sister alone". I was so lucky to have two sisters who loved me. They are still alive. Megyn, I'm so sorry about your sister.
So sorry for your loss, I’m sure she is very proud of her little sister and will always want the best for you. Love and prayers to you and the family through this very difficult loss.
“How I wish I could have that one back” on repeat - This tribute left me in a puddle. The beauty, laughter and love always prevails in our memories. God bless 🙏🏻
What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful person. Your sister would be so proud. I now know her through your story telling. You did it so well with such love and conviction. I’m so very sorry for your loss. She left her mark and hopefully one day you can tell her story. Megyn you did a great job. Hugs to you and to your family, her children and grandchildren. You will keep her legacy alive. May she rest in peace.
Megyn your story about you and your sister really touched my heart. I have a twin brother and we’re very close and have been our whole life. God bless you and your sweet family.
I cried listening to this. Had to actually leave the tv and take a minute. I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you support, strength to you, your family, your mother and Suzannes family and children. Life is so tragic. Appreciate every moment. I’m sure Suzanne was so proud of you.
As the only brother to three amazing older sisters, separated by 6.5 years from the oldest, your tribute to brought tears to my eyes. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Eternal be her memory.
I can only say am sorry for your loose I know what you are going through just lost my only beloved brother this past year. Again very sorry for your loss
Megyn, I know what it is like to lose siblings. I was six years old when I lost my first sister, her name was Jean and she left a husband and two small children behind, this was back in 1959. I don’t want to take away from your story, I just want you to know that there are people out here who know exactly what you are going through right now. Since then I have lost both my parents and two more siblings. I miss them all and am truly grateful to have known them. R.I.P. to your sister and my condolences to you and your family. ❤️❤️
DearMegyn, I send our prayers of comfort & love. My sister was 8 years older than me. She was like a second mother to me, like your sister. I often thanked her for making me feel wanted when she had to bring "tag along sister". You painted a beautiful picture in words of a beautiful loving woman. I'm crying with you because I lost her four years ago. God bless you & all your family.
What a lovely tribute! I lost my only sister who was 6 years older than me a few years ago. I still think of her almost every day and how much fun we’d be having together now. In midlife we moved to our childhood town near each other and laughed that we looked forward to riding the bus to the end of the line together when we could no longer drive.. She was silly and fun and took care of me and teased me growing up too. I couldn’t have ever given such a perfect tribute to her like you did your sister! I, too, grieve one of the last times I missed to have a chance to spend time with her. She stopped at my house with her little dog and asked if I’d like to take a walk with her. I told her I was too exhausted as I had just moved into a house and started a new job. I can’t forget the disappointed look on her face as she turned away to walk alone. She died 30 days later. Shortly after her death, I woke up one morning feeling such warmth with arms wrapped around me. In my dream I was saying to my dear sister how sorry I was for not thanking her for all the things in life she had helped me with. She enveloped me and was saying “I know, I know. It’s OK!” when I woke up. Thank you for sharing your sister with me. Mine and yours would have lived each other!!!
Sitting here wiping my tears, missing my big sister everyday. So much you said in this tribute is so relatable to me and my sister. This was truly beautifully said with such love. This was healing for me today to hear you tell stories of Suzanne. How lucky we were to have big sisters . What a life blessing. Prayers. 😊
I'm tearing up because of the parallels to my life. I told my Grandpa I'd come visit him "tomorrow", but I didn't because life got it the way. He had passed in the next 48 hours and I never got to keep my promise. 26 years later I still think about my decision. Stay strong!
I can totally understand what you have gone through. I called my grandpa every 2 weeks and my husband said “you need to call him”. We had been busy and I said I’ll call in a couple of days. A day or 2 later I got a call he had died. I still feel guilty. Still have his phone number in my phone. And usually I can talk about him but recently was telling my Mom how I felt guilty and just started bawling. I wasn’t even sad, but I guess it’s still so hard for me to talk about. ❤
@@tamarinbush6613Guilt can do that. I have none because I took care of my parents. My son lets days go by with no text or calls. I am bedridden and have a painful auto immune disease. My brother finds the time to text. God forgive me I hope someday my son feels the guilt. I was always there for him ready to help at a moment's notice, but for me nada.
@146flyer81....I can tell you right now that your Grandpa didn't give a flying hoot that this sad materialistic matrix life did not give you a chance to see him when he passed. He doesn't blame you for anything. I can also tell you that he is now healthy, very happy and content. He'll probably be the very first one you see when you eventually pass because he's been so much in your thoughts these lo 26 years. And, you'll both have that long, loving hug that you missed so long ago. Namaha 🕉
What an incredible tribute! Your sister would've been so proud. I doubt there is a single person who heard it and is not crying. I'm so sorry for your loss. 💔😢
I lost my sister in June 2021 after a long cancer battle. She finished entering her students grades in on Wednesday and she was gone that Friday. She never wavered in her faith and she remained positive to the end. Three months later my mother lost her battle to complications of Alzheimer's. The saving grace is that Mom never knew her daughter had passed away. The past three years have only found me missing them both more and more. I'm forever changed. I just don't look at life the same. My daughter is getting married in January and it breaks my heart that they won't be there to share in the joy. May the angels lead Suzanne into paradise and may God comfort your family in your grief.
65 yr old man, sitting here with tears in my eyes. God bless you and your sister. It's 2 years later, but Love has no timeline.....

I have a new respect for Megyn. It takes a really strong human to deliver, with strength, such a beautiful tribute for a loved one. I’m not certain I could be that strong in the same situation.

I lost one sister 50 years ago. She was my closest friend and only 17. Every big event in my life and she wasn't there
to share them with me, my wedding, the births of my children, my college graduation, I missed her and it still hurts every time 💔

Stumbled upon this today on Thanksgiving 2024. Such a honorable and heartfelt tribute. I cried through it. Blessings to you.
This hit home for me. 23 years ago, I lost my younger sister. It doesn't matter how old you are, or how old they were at the time...the loss of a sibling hits you different. There are still times when I get choked up talking about her, even after all these years. My sincerest condolences to you and your family, and kudos on a wonderful tribute to your sister.
it was hard not to cry all the way through this tribute. Well, I think we all feel like we know Suzanne: she was marvelous!

GOD Bless. 🙏🙏♥️♥️

Love from France, Megyn ... So sorry for your loss ... God bless you all ...

@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
I’m so sorry for your loss. You’ve presented a beautiful and honorable tribute. Wishing you and your family peaceful healing.
What caused her sister's death?

I’m so very sorry for your loss. She left her mark and hopefully one day you can tell her story. Megyn you did a great job. Hugs to you and to your family, her children and grandchildren. So sorry for your loss. Megyn, thank you for sharing this beautiful tribute to your sister! ❤
Megyn, may your dear sister RIP. This tribute to her life is beautiful and very touching - I couldn’t keep the tears at bay.
DearMegyn,
I send our prayers of comfort & love.
You and your family have beautiful inside and out. Sorry for your loss sister. God bless you all and with his hug loving arms.❤❤❤❤
Please don’t be so hard on yourself. I’m sorry you didn’t go, but grandparents being what they are I’m sure he still loved you very much. ❤
@@dittohead7044It happened to me with my sister ,feeling same way ohhh what was she thinking of me 🙏
I can totally understand what you have gone through.
