Saabs are so damned cool,fun & let's not forget "quirky" but definitely in a good way of course! It's unfortunate that Saab couldn't survive the economic downturns of a tumultuous circumstance to still be operating today! I used to own a 1997 9000 cse 5spd turbo back in the day here in the USA but unfortunately it got totaled on the interstate & that was the end of that relationship sadly! Always loved Saabs for some odd reason or another when I saw them running around in the early late 80's but never thought I'd actually own one,but fate & pure destiny paved the way for my ownership experience with my 9000 & hopefully again soon it'll happen with another purchase of a Saab! The 9-5 Aero is on my radar so hopefully it will become a reality! Great video & awesome interaction with the other Saabs & of course the legendary once in a lifetime car meet & rally event! Your Saab looks great by the way,keep on Saabing along my friend & keep giving us updates & footage of these awesome vehicles to keep our enthusiasm & interest on high!

Hi. More than 15 years ago, I visited the Trohattan museum since I m a big fan of Saab. The taxi was a 9-5! A surprise for me, but probably not much of a surprise for Swedes. I used to own a 9000 ça Talladega und later on , a 9-3 sedan.
My friend in Tokyo has still a 96 V4 ( Ford engine) I wish I could afford.
Saab have become very rare in Japan.
Saab was my first love! Don’t tell this to my wife! She thinks that she was my first love. Lol.
Now I m already 69 but still young at heart . Driving a Suzuki Swift RS( manual and automatic gear with shift paddle) maybe available only in Japan. I enjoy everyday behind the wheel dreaming of owning a Saab again someday

There are so many Saab models now that I hadn’t seen when I was there. I remember at the entrance, there was a shop. By the way, how is this museum surviving financially? Are there still enough visitors?
A few months ago, I enjoyed the Japanese movie Drive My Car featuring a red 900 s. Gorgeous car ! Have you seen this movie which got a Prize ?
The museum has quite alot of visitors. The museum has a red 900 just like The one in the movie which they currently have up front in the entrance 👍 i have not seen the movie, but i have seen the car 😉

I/we was there 15 years ago, and it was so much fun (100 degrees on the circuit on the Sunday). This year looked very similar, but I wasn't able to bring my 95 9000 back to the place of its birth... Thanks for the memories. I still would like a "new" 9-5 estate (RHD)

But could you tell me whether it is worth installing the system on the Witson PX5 android? Will the sound quality in the car be affected? Many years ago I visited the Museum, driving up from Denmark and I looked at all the special cars inside, but I admit that I thought the Museum had been closed during the closure of a car production in Trollhättan?
The future of the museum was a little bit uncertain for a while. At one time all the cars was about to be sold. But luckily it is still standing and is open 🙏
@@JonasKakarikas Thank You. I am a 74 year old man, and by that time I also looked at the special version of the original SAAB, for the test of the new and wider model, SAAB 88. At least by that time it had the widest backseat inside, in the world, according to a special test-device made by a Swedish Journalist. Even American cars couldn't match the actual room inside!
And a short time ago I actually saw one of the first models of the SAAB Sonett in the parking area of a large Center close to my home. Sadly - it had at one time got a roll bar inside - with two clearly visible bolt-heads on the outside of the roof, securing the top!!! :-(

I love the real Saab, I would never a get a Chinese Saab.
What were the dates of this year event?
I saw a Porsche sign above the circuit. Does it belong to the German carmaker ?
By the way, in Kisarazu where I live , we have a Porsche Experience Center Tokyo , I guess the only one in Asia.
I haven’t been there yet although it’s only a twenty minute drive from my house.
The Saab festival is usually every other year, so next will probably be 2024. This years was 10-12th of june.
The track kinnekulle ring isnt owned by Porsche. But the owner of the track has his own Porsche race team 👍

i liked the last 9-5 wagon. Too bad was not for sale in US.
Was never officially for sale anywhere. All in existance are pre production that were sold after the bankrupsy.

i have a 2005 arc and become a money pit. ive been driving without power steering. i need help but i dont have money.. my ac is out and windows are being stupid with those rolly clips. so im driving this car in the heat!! besides that she is boss
