as someone who was also in highschool when GBGR dropped juice has became my favorite artist of all time as a 21 year old now i think its just sad he couldn’t show everyone his true potential. i still remember in February 2018 putting on the new lyrical lemonade video while making pizza rolls and being just in awe of the song i was hearing and that song ended up being all girls are the same and from that point on i found everything juice related. great video brother
Goodbye good riddance is basically how non juice wrld fans view juice wrld, death race for love was a step up,it showed what he was really bout, End of the road, I'll be fine & armed and dangerous are fire tho.
Bro his third album called The Outsiders that he was working on before he died was the next important step in his evolution, go listen to that shit, it’s fire af and would be his best album frfr
The album was so good and honestly me discovering juice back then when I was like 10 years old or something. It saved me from giving up on shit. I know its supposed to be about heartbreak and stuff like that but it just like spoke to me as an outcast in where I was at the time. The rawness and vulnerability of juice songs just hit for a younger, broken, and overall messed up kid but here I am, he was so important to my life RIP juice 999 forever
Man I wish we could go back and relive his era. It was barely 1.5 years long. Now only our generation can claim to have had his era in their lives growing and you better believe that ima hold on tight. Lljw
A lot of people go through different sht gang just cause you don’t relate to a song don’t mean other people don’t. Plus juice has music for everyone hype/sad what ever : plus mf you listen to Carti don’t tell me sht about music
Bruh, hurt me is literally one of my favorite juice wrld songs. It's one of the 3 songs that got me into juice wrld. The other songs that got me into juice wrld are armed and dangerous and autograph
His music came as intensely authentic and fresh, in a genre that traditionally would completely reject his musics content matter and sentiments But he was accepted nonetheless because the art and talent was undeniable It’s a similar effect to Tyler the Creator imo, he “shouldn’t” be accepted in black hip hop space, but he is because the talent is so undeniable
a lot of rappers (for example Future) talk about the same themes, heartbreak, pain, mental issues and drug addiction.. They just dont rap about it so "openly"
I agree but don't trash juice as a whole that's not all he raps about and the difference between him and a lot of those rappers is he actually was genuine about how he felt and not some industry plant ass dude like jumex
I haven't watched the video yet but I wasn't always the biggest fan of gbagr but now I consider it as a classic from that era just because it has so many iconic songs , like wasted lucid dreams agats black and white lean wit me armed and dangerous.... you can't agrue against it not being a classic
You need to have grown up with juice wrld. He's a big part of my childhood, so his music and everything about him hits differently for me. It's why people are so attached to him
Ik what you mean like his sad heartbreak depressed songs I don't really listen to anymore cuz they don't really resonate with me anymore, but his songs are soooo good bruh not even sad tbh like I can name a crateful of songs that have nothing to do with this sad look that was pushed by his label

haven’t watched yet but thank you for covering juice and keeping his name alive ❤️

@@bnb0120future does in the open, but it’s not front and center. plus people don’t really listen to his lyrics unfortunately 🤷🏼♀️
Juice would've been bigger than Drake, bigger than The Weeknd. And I believe that 100%
And juice don't just make sad shit tho 😂.
he'll always be missed, he had a really great freestyle ability
Why you calling the album cringe when juice was just staying true to his self he didn’t make it for no trend
nothing wrong with a lil cringe bro.
Bro I listen to juice so much , if my parents knew ill probably be in therapy rn 😂 LLJW ❤
End of the road is so eerie
all the die hard juice fans to this day let this whole video went over their head and offended
Well yeah it is but then again everything has its run… I bet one day people will say rage is cringe but rn this shits fire
“I’m gonna age myself” when he’s probably 21ish, I’m defo old 😂😂😂
But really great and informative video
My favorite UA-camr

Lil Wayne birthed the emo mumble rap era and they were just too young to know🤣

6:44 you forgot Uzi, 8:00 Imo LIR 2 is the emo rap magnum opus but thats just my opinion I might be biased since Im a huge Uzi fan If you couldnt tell
LIR2 is the one u right
I don’t get how grown adults can like music like that. It’s whiny and lame. He was very talented i just never liked the content
It has its time and place like all sad music
Because not all his music is like that, and his music is a certain vibe
You need to have grown up with juice wrld. He's a big part of my childhood, so his music and everything about him hits differently for me. It's why people are so attached to him
@ when i was a kid i thought i thought it was lame but i understood why people liked it
