As someone from Wisconsin, your cheese curds were spot on! Hope you enjoyed them. If you can find fresh cheese curds there pick those up and leave them at room temperature. I grew up calling it squeaky cheese because the fresh cheese squeaks when you chew.
Atlanta is such a natural at this! She's intelligent, well-spoken, funny, & photogenic! Fantastic job, young lady!
Wisconsinite here, you guys are so awesome but i never thought youd do something related to Wisconsin! I found you YEARS ago when you reacted to "the bad man arron rodgers" and Wisconsinites have loved you ever since! Much love from WI!!!❤❤
Wisconsin here! We have the best dairy in the US. When you come visit, You need to have our deep fried cheese curds, our “squeaky cheese” cheese curds, our bratwurst, and our craft beer. The German state!
I was 34 years old when I moved to Wisconsin. I am originally from Kansas but have lived all over the country including 10 years in Alaska. Never did I think about Wisconsin.... It is easily my favorite place I have ever been!
I grew up in Wisconsin. As a kid, we use to get fresh, still warm, cheese curds from a local dairy. That is the true "squeaky cheese" you hear people talk about. If you ever get a chance, you need to try fresh cheese curds. There's nothing else like them.
Wisconsinite here. I’m not sure how I missed this video when it first came out and excited you tried one of our fair foods. As others have mentioned, if you were to come here, you definitely should attend the State Fair in the summer and then maybe Brewers baseball game. Been watching your content for years and I love your reaction to the cultural things that make up the fabric of who we are as a country. It reminds us Americans how good we really have it here and to appreciate this beautiful place. All the best on your continued success and happiness!
I'm Canadian and we use cheese curds for poutine. Fries, topped with cheese curds, topped with gravy. Yummy! 🇨🇦
Wisconsinite here. The best curds are found in the middle of the state in the small towns. There are cheese stores that sell right out of the farms up there. The best curds are warm, and squeak when bitten into~
Here to represent Wisconsin! thank you for trying our food.
As a person, born and raised in Green Bay Wisconsin. I never had a fried cheese curd in the last few years was the first time. Usually eat cheese curds fresh from the cheese store warm and squeaky just by themselves or I make a cheese sandwich. They have an excellent cheese pull. Try a beer brat. It’s a grilled pork sausage after it, grilled. Place all the grilled sausages in a sauce, pan in a saucepan, covered with any beer and a few slices of onion and heat it up just before it comes to boil pull it out put it in a hotdog bun. Enjoy with either sauerkraut, onions and mustard.😋 Thank you
:face-blue-wide-eyes:
I am from Wisconsin .. and If I can give you a tip, after you batter them, put them in the freezer a few minutes to firm them up before deep frying them ..
Love your channel from an official Wisconsinite! Enjoy your time in the US!
Wisconsinite here! I've had the pleasure of eating cheese curds fresh the day they were made. They are glorious little bites of squeakiness that you just have to experience! If you come to Wisconsin, I HIGHLY suggest touring a cheese factory!
If they don't squeak, they ain't what you seek. 😁 Nothing like a fresh Wisconsin cheese curd. Everyone knew the day they could get the fresh ones locally and they sold out quick.
I grew up 20 minutes south of the Wisconsin State line in Illinois. We regularly drove up to the Dells and Lake Geneva and to Green Bay to see family. The highlight of our family trips to Wisconsin were the cheese curds. There is no shortage of cheese shops in Wisconsin. The man I married had grown up on a farm but NEVER had cheese curds in his life. So, I took him to Wisconsin for the weekend and introduce them to him. If you ever go to Wisconsin, you have to try the deep-fried cheese curds and the cheddar/brat and beer soup! Just about every restaurant sells both. Bon Appetite!
Native 'sconnie here. Thank you for this video New Zealand Family!
I commend you on how you have raised your kids. They are wonderful, engaging and clever!
Awesome snack. I can say that fresh cheese curds are a great Wisconsin delicacy. You will know they are fresh (made within 72 hours) when they "squeak" when you bite into them. Plain unfried cheese curds are delicious with a little sea salt sprinkled on top and alongside a good Wisconsin beer (or a cold glass of white wine) or a cold mug of Sprecher's Root Beer. Also curds come in more varieties than just plain cheddar cheese and Wisconsin cheese houses pride themselves on a wide assortment of flavored cheese curds like Cajun seasoned, fresh herb and onion or BBQ.
