Alastor said that she still has her soul too so he’s not as desperate as he first was I’d love to see Charlie grow on Alastor hell he’s already been the main one to defend the hotel and everyone in it right from the beginning so I feel like he’s more cunning than he’s leading them all to believe

I feel the favor will be telling Charily to not get involved when someone she cares about is getting hurt. I think it will be a monkey's paw with the wording of the deal. No one will be hurt by Charily standing down, they were being hurt by something unrelated to the deal.
Since Alastor was able to manipulate Charlie while she was in a moment of duress, maybe decides to cash in on the favor in a moment of duress as well. For example, since the Vees particularly Vox are going to be major villains in this upcoming season. Alastor may have picked up or suspected that Angel is under the power of one of the Vees, but keeps this information to himself until the most dramatic moment.
From what we have seen Charlie is aware there is something toxic about the studio, particularly with Valentino as an individual. However, she has also seen her interfearance when it isn't fully required can cause more harm then good. Her sheltered up bringing also doesn't fully comprehend things such as soul deals or what they entale.
So say, Val or the Vees as a whole show up at the hotel. Since the hotel is her home and the people who reside in it her family, Charlie can't just allow anyone to show up and cause everyone she loves harm. However, if Alastor decides that is the moment to cash in on his favor, because of the deal she made Charlie may be compelled to fullfill her end of the bargain. Even if it means in essence betraying or failing someone she cares about.

As for Vox while right now he is like a barking dog that does not want to be near the other dog (Alastor) that is why Velvette went to the meeting. But Vox is full of wrath and at the end he is not going to let Alastor have people. He has powers and I have a feeling Velvette does too. Vaggie can just say do not worry I am not saying anything about the tv. I can not do much about it but will make sure Charlie is not grabbed.

I have a theory about alastors deal. He specificly said: " one favor at the time of my choosing when you'll harm no one". That no one for me is Alastor himself. I Don't know exacly what he's plan might be, but I suspect when ultimatly all will be revealed, Charlie will feel betrayed and try to go after him only for Alastor to call that favor in to grand himself immunity.
Possible. Alistor made the deal with [Charlie] about this issue but not the rest of anyone she is associated with. Or a third party for that matter. Sure [she] can't harm him. But someone else could. Sabatoging his plans. The problem in deals or contracts with these people, they overlook loopholes.
Then again that is fan theory.

I like the idea of Alastor using deals like old urban tales never make a deal with a devil kind of thing. Recall he made a deal with Vaggie about not interacting with this TV stuff, he could invoke that when Vox gets involved.

This guy here. It's exactly what I thought when they made the deal. If his deal is with Lilith and not Roo. Then yes, that's just one piece now blocked from harming him, possibly two being Lucifer as well due to the deal with Charlie.
Only time will tell though.
Yeah, that reminds me of the deal Captain Hook made with Jane in Peter Pan Return to Neverland.
Hr swears not to harm a single hair of Peter Pan's head. And when Jane confronts him about it and tries to hold him to their deal he yanks a single hair from Peter's head and says 'this is the one i won't harm.' I mean the word play and the way he worded their bargain to leave something so specifically worded open that he could still get away with trying ti harm Peter and the Lost Boys. I could definitely see Alistor doing something similar.
I just had a big brain theory, what if in the deal, someone like Lucifer or Vaggie (anyone important to her) was to get hurt indirectly by Alastors actions. And if Charlie snaps and attacks him, she’d be breaking their deal since Alastor said “I choose a favor of my choosing where Y O U hurt no one, in return I tell you what I know”. Meaning that she can’t hurt or stop Alastor from his plans.
Edit: he actually said “One favor AT A TIME of my choosing” which means that he’ll ask for more than one favor
Apologies, but my professional writing education is nagging. When he said "One favor at a time of my choosing" isn't saying he can only call a favor multiple times as long as they are at different times, it is saying he can call that ONE favor anytime he wants, no heads up, no warning. like for example if Charlie goes after him for one reason or another, he can basically blurt out that he'll cash in his favor with her right then and there. there is no time limit of when he can call for the favor, but he can only do it once. If he wanted to have a deal like how you were suggesting, then he would have to say it more along the lines of "One favor of my choosing at a time". Though I will not lie and admit that Vizi could still do at you think regardless of how accurate the sentence is. It is an interesting idea though. ^v^
I think Alastor will cash in the favor for something small, like joining him for tea instead of working at the hotel for a day. This would make Charlie less guarded against future deals where he might request another 'favor'. She may even slip up and forget to add a caviat such as, "I wont help you hurt anyone". After all, what better way to manipulate someone than by being a confidant?
I believe the deal is that Alastor harms/ attempts to kill someone close to Charlie (Vaggie, Lucifer, Angel, etc) while Charlie can do nothing but watch (She’s not hurting anyone but that doesn’t mean Alastor won’t) or perhaps Alastor asks her to free him from his “leash”
I think he wants to use her power to free him from who owns his soul.

Alastor manipulating Lucifer would make the most sense if he's trying to get out of a certain deal he made by who knows what. However, since Alastor doesn't own Charlie's soul, despite him making a deal with her, I still have trouble believing that he has any real leverage against Lucifer. Since the deal Charlie made said that she can't hurt anyone, Alastor still needs to be careful with what he's asking because hurting someone doesn't necessarily mean physical pain, it can be mental or indirect. It really comes down to what Alastor really wants out of this if he didn't even bother to try to won Charlie's soul.
My personal theory is that it’s either Charlie has to give her power to Alastor or maybe even her soul because it’s ANY favor and as long as SHE doesn’t hurt anyone that’s fair game but that doesn’t mean that he cant ask for Charlie’s power and hurt people because that those weren’t the rules.
There could be multiple ways for Alastor to cash In his favor with Charlie. It could have something to do with giving Roo access to certain parts of hell (or even Heaven?) in exchange for his freedom.
He could ask her for her powers, something that wouldn't technically hurt her but make him a much bigger player against lucifer. He could also ask her to do nothing against him when he tries to take lucifer down, or even stand between him and lucifer. Something like "Protect me against your father". Lucifer wouldn't be able to attack Alastor then, because he would have to go against Charlie.
Or since this is about the Hazbin hotel... Maybe there is something about this place we jet nlknow nothing about. Maybe underneath the hotel there is some kind of Hotspot for Roo's evil energy (like the eyes we see throughout hell). By demanding to own the hotel he could ultimately free Roo, so she gives him his soul back. We don't jet know if maybe lucifer wasn't just thrown down into he'll to reflet on what he has done. Maybe it's also his job-as a punishment to further contain the evil he has allowed into this world. Argument against that would be that if this was the case, he wouldn't let anyone near the hotel, especially not Charlie.
In any case I am really exited for the reveal. I think it will eventually be something really simple he asks of her, but it will give all of us a sudden "Oh s***" moment, once we realize the consequence of his request.

Alastors deal with Vaggie (Al doesn’t have to interact with any modern technology) will come into play,with Vees or someone capturing her, leading to deal two he made,being with Charlie (One favor of a time of his choosing where she harms no one) Alastor will use that favor to have Charlie go to Lilith (or whoever owns Alastors soul) to either free it,or grant him more power if it is Lilith,then that could be interesting

Well, it has been shown that Charlie has untapped potential especially after that scene in episode 8 where she blocked Adam’s attack. So maybe Alastor is waiting for Charlie to realise her true power and the “favour” Will be to give him all that power? It’s not a perfect theory, but it could have some merit.

What if alastor gets to be ruler of hell BUT only because Lucifer, Charlie, and the cast ascend with Luci saying something like "enjoy your position of power where no one respects you and the your actions mean nothing"
I mean mentally or emotionally alastor could win but in a physical fight, lucifer easily wins without even trying (lucifer could just see the fight like a fun little game and alastor could be exceptionally serious like he plans to absolutely slaughter lucifer and lucifer would easily win but hey there’s a reason why he’s the prince of pride and the king of h£ll and alastor isn’t)
Lucifer would annihilate Alastor if it's a straight up fight. Now if we throw in manipulation it would have to be one good manipulation.
One thing I could see the show playing off of is the pure existential dread many have about Heaven and Hell. One day dying and having your soul at the mercy of these otherworldly immortal beings and there seemingly being NOTHING you can do against it.
Alastor for all his powers is still a sinner, the soul of a once mortal human. He is someone who wants total control over his life, and thus I see why he relishes 'rebelling' against the two 'Gods' of his realm and bringing them down to his level. How he plays of Charlie's naive little kid personality and puts her through a whole gamut of emotions, aweing, fearful, even feel dependent on him, or how he plays off of Lucifer's insecurities and reduces him to a competitive buffoon against him. The proof and catharsis that these beings are still very flawed humanized creatures with weakspots. That they can be brought down. And really what says that more than a binding spell saying 'You owe me'?
He is gonna make her choose between her dad or her mom in order to get out of the deal.
That, or he is gonna ask Charlie to take his place in his deal, and that's a far worse conclusion to speculate 😅
I honestly don't think Alastor knows what the favor is going to be yet. I think he just wanted to have a favor with the princess of Hell. I also think Alastor will end up using the favor on something he didn't intend to and he pissed about it 😂

maybe alastor will go to lucifer and tell him that charlie owes him a favor and if he doesn't do as he says he will make her harm herself or others or something? or maybe alastor didnt have a plan when he asked for the favor and he just thought "well this is the princess of hell,a favor from her would surely be useful some day" which makes more sense than the first theory in my opinion
I am so curious how this will end up and what will Alastor do at the end, its pretty obvious (or I hope so) that Alastor is gonna be the main villain of the show at some point and I would really like to see him actually achieving his plans, get out from the leash and become as powerful as others high-ranked demons (deadly sins or even lucifer) only to be defeated and either be killed, spared, banished if that's possible or maybe some redemption arc even. Honestly I think that he won't be killed (simply because of the amount of people who likes him in the series) so it would be risky but also brave move by the show.

I'm a big fan of the Eve/Roo theory and that she is the soul owner of Alastor. Maybe because Luci is responsibly for Eve eating the apple, Alastor has a strong dislike for him, because thats the reason Eve/Roo became so powerful, to be able to own his soul? Nonetheless, I hope they both will be able to become friends, like in Viv's old sketches.

I want to see what happens when a soul deal is broken. Imagine if you will that the deal Alastor has with Charlie is triggered, he requests that she does something that is close to impossible and if she does not complete the deal, she ends up losing her soul and by extension power to him. If that is the direction they go it really pushes Alastor into the BBG role quite swell I live to see that smug Deerman get his!
Not going to lie it would be hilarious to me if there was an episode mostly around trying to catch Alastor slipping and make him ask Charlie to do something harmless for him like hand him something only for him to do it himself by accident, thus completing the deal. He would be so pissed.
The favor stipulates that Charlie can't hurt anyone with said favor. As no limit on the favor was stipulated one might assume that includes indirect damage as well. If the assumption is true than Alastor can't request more power in any form if he will hurt someone with it as that would be violating the contract. As such this favor could be seen as more binding than Alastor realizes as all he could do is threaten others, not actually hurt anyone with the favor's results. Even using the favor to release Alastor from his original contract could be seen as harming someone depending on what Alastor does with that freedom, thus screwing Alastor over.

Lucifer and Alastor are both the funniest rivals in Hazbin Hotel and they are both pretty powerful characters! Also I don't know who would actually win in a fight although we know Alastor fled after Adam broke his staff and Lucifer is the literal King of Hell, so I guess Lucifer wins to some degree.😂😅

If it's the deal with Alastor & Charlie theres a good chance the radio demons favor is one to be everlasting. Like the main thing is so long as nobody gets hurt Charlie has to compile. Meaning, he could always make it that she has to willing give him her soul. That way He would own her power forever in exchange for say the king of hells power.
Who else agrees that if the Exorcists targetted hellborn demons as shown in Helluva Boss and the other six Sins, the Exorcists would be decimated

@@kadenyt6623 Okay, first off, Helluva Boss canonically takes place *after* the events of Hazbin Hotel. I know this because of something Moxxie says in Season 1 Episode 5. He says that 'It's inspiring how, for example, the use of guns utilising angelic technology has changed the landscape of Hell's combative...' So therefore, it is possible that the hellborn demons can get weapons that have angelic steel in them just like the residents of the Hotel did in episode seven, which is also shown as possible through Striker's use of the Carmine Crafted Blessing Tipped Rifle in S1ep5, the two Blessing Tipped pistols in S2ep4, and the angelic steel knife. Further more, in Helluva Boss, we've seen how big at least least three of the Sins can get: Beezlebub, Asmodeus, and Mammon. And we obviously saw how powerful Lucifer is in ep8 of Hazbin Hotel. So therefore it's possible that the other three Sins can change their size, making Lucifer the only one who can't, and each Sin is more powerful than the Overlords. Also, hellborn demons such as imps and hellhounds know how to fight, most of them anyway. This is due to the imps being from Wrath and being mercenaries and a lot of hellhounds being employed as bodyguards and such. I feel like the succubi and incubi would, well, potentially be able to seduce the Exorcists, but I'm not sure about that. The possessor demons from Envy might be able to literally possess some of the Exorcist angels. And finally, there's the 72 Ars Goetia demons- 73 if we include Octavia. And a lot of the Ars Goetia demons are considered either on the same power level as Overlords in terms of power ranking or more powerful. Two examples are Stolas (his demon form), and Andrealphus (the whole ice magic thing). So therefore it is possible that other Ars Goetia demons have powerful magic. And the Ars Goetia are rich af, so they would be more than able to pay for all the weapons

Alastor is with (bound to) Sera. Hear me out, he dies goes to heaven in some breadth of "we don't know what gets people into heaven" can be the fact that he took out other problematic people in his lifetime... gets to heaven and Heaven is a little perturbed by this. Then he watches the hypocrisy in Heaven and offs some of the angels, which condemns him to Hell, with a warped angelic essence(old god style) begins to wipe out Overlords and quell rising unrest in Hell and consolidate it in a way Heaven can control. Alastor gains too much power so they pull him out for a sort of debriefing and prep for the next excursion 7 years later.

Consdering that Alastor couldn't hold his own against Adam and Lucifer has way more experience fighting as an angel than the once human Adam I think it's pretty easy to see that Alastor could never win in a fair fight against the King of Hell (unless he decided to cheat, of course).
My Theory is that Alastor will ask Charlie to switch places with him. Instead of Alastor being on the chain , it would be Charlie.
Yes, Alastor doesn't own Charlie's soul but the deal was made with soul binding. Whatever Alastor wants Charlie to do, Charlie will have to do it (as long its not hurting other).

Alastor's favor probably something no one expected which is Charlie killing Vaggie. Many fans suspect Alastor wants Charlie to break his leash, share her power, swap places with him, etc. It has to be plot twist that fans never thought of at all. Even though Vaggie is a great girlfriend to Charlie, she literally babysits and trying to protect her. Vaggie is holding Charlie back and what Alastor probably wants is Charlie to be full power when a major threat is approaching. It seems unlikely Vaggie is going to die but remember in the leaks the Vs have a new member and Vaggie happens to have a V in her name.
I thought maybe Alastor wants to be in heaven like he may have been for 7 years, but he had to go back to hell to help Charlie cause Lilith told him so. So maybe if Lilith is impressed he can get back in again

I could see Lucifer and Husk teaming up in order to stop whatever Alastor has planned. Like Husk could spy on Alastor for Lucifer plus Husk must have a good idea of how Alastor thinks after working for him for so long.With Husk on his side it could tip the scale in Lucifer’s favor.
I don’t think the deal would be to stand by while Alastor hurts someone. It just feels like an incomplete and uninspired interpretation of the promise, it’s too obvious. I think whatever it is it will be much more clever than that.
I think, if Hazbin Hotel is building up to a Alastor vs Lucifer fight, that Alastor would use his favor with Charlie to pit her against her father. "Defend Me!" Or something like that. And/or, Alastor would probably dangle it over Lucifer's head to try to get him to cut out his own unfavorable deal, possibly using it on something meaningless, say "Pick up that pen, my dear!", in exchange. That makes the most sense to me.
If Alistair is not scared of Lucifer then WHO THE HELL PUT THAT DEAL on him.
I think it has to be Roo no one else in Hell would have that kind of Power i think and Roo may be in Doomsday City that is Owned by ( Probably) Alistair him self waiting ( With Alistair's help ) to Return.
All I know is that he could simply be trying to bring back his mother who was possibly slayed by the angels during an extermination with no hope of being able to return her

People have been saying Lucifer and Alastor will have an enemies to lovers relationship in s2, I love the RadioApple ship but sadly I think Alastor will take advantage of Lucifer
The deal is that nothing Charlie dose to replay the favor, will involve hurting anyone. Herself. Hurting anyone herself. Not that the repercussions won't harm anyone. Whatever Alastor calls on Charlie to do, is going to get a lot of souls hurt, but Charlie won't be the one to hurt them. I envision it is going to be something to "unclip" his wings and he will be able to go berserk radio demon on all of hell, not just a few sinners at once.
I think it would be a fantastic redemption sendoff if Vaggie and/or Angel Dust would be the one to thwart Alastor's plans, at the (seeming) cost of either their afterlife or even worse suffering.

Interestingly, it seems that Lucifer doesn't manage hell on anyones behalf but his. As Vivzie has said, everyones really just scared of him for some reason. Or else Hell's principles would be more closely aligned with heaven. Moreover, it's been said that Charlie is young. Why would Lucifer, who hasn't been shown to be Omniscient, know about Charlie when negotiating. Lucifer can easily keep Heaven away from Charlie by simply saying as he already has, by saying that as long as heaven doesn't kill hellborn he doesn't interfere in the exterminations. This easily assuages essentially all of Lucifer's concerns. He calls himself the big boss. Not Heaven. He also has no problem badmouthing heaven, which is hardly the behavior of someone helping heaven. It sounds more like to me that he quickly established himself as someone to fear at the start of hell.

Honestly offering an unspecified favour has got to be the second stupidest type of deal with the devil possible (after giving your soul).
Team Alastor he is known for taking out overlords as said in Alastor background story *overlords go missing there screams being broadcast on the radio show*and is taller than Lucifer's basically an overlord in the great wise words of Chucky a true classic never goes out of style in this case straight up that while Lucifer is trapped in his own mind making ducks am I honest opinion I think Alostor is in a lot of pain so therefore he has to do what he has to do in order to find a way out of the pain that he's in so manipulating the second closest thing to the person he made a deal with might be an easy way out of the deal that he's in so he could stop feeling the pain that he's been feeling for God knows how long

I just had an insane thought, what if Alastor uses his deal with Charlie to make her bring him to Heaven. Like now that the hotel will be proven to work they might have to establish a Hell Embassy in Heaven to help the sinner better adjust to their new life. Plus I kinda imagine that some people in Heaven might get curious and want to know if their family members are staying at the hotel to try and be redeemed. Hopefully (Molly will be one of these people who will be up in Heaven rooting for Angel to redeem himself). And with that Charlie might have to visit Heaven a few more times to check on things and for meeting, and Alastor may ask to come along in one of these trips. I think it would be interesting if he wanted to come up to Heaven to see if he could find his mother, and visit her. Alastor probably knows that A. He doesn’t want to be redeemed, and B. Even if he did it would take A LOT to redeem a guy who ripped apart the souls of a bunch of people and broadcast them for everyone else to hear. So he would use a trip to Heaven to see his mom one more time and maybe apologize to her for him not being in Heaven with her.
Realistically I know that he’ll probably use his deal with Charlie for something bad and that would only be beneficial for him. But we can always speculate.
I feel like Alastor loosing to Adam was more plot based than him failing Alastor is powerful and did have Adam backed into a corner but Adam not really being a true angel and abusing his power in heaven was his ultimate downfall but Alastor being the one to originally summoning Nifty and that plan turned in his favor was awesome to see plus Lucifer got to defend Charlie and that was really cool to see

I like to think that Alastor woud be Charlie's final amd most crucial convert (from the main cast atleast). They would struggle against Alastor's plans but eventually do somesort of sacrifice for Charlie or someone else.
I wonder the extent of Lucifer’s power maybe he has the power to terminate the deal Charlie has with Alastor I mean doesn’t he own everything and everyone in Hell I think it’s within his power to terminate a deal with an Overlord
I’ve definitely wondered about that. Exactly what are the limits of his powers? Are there “physics” to this universe that even he is beholden to? Like are soul deals a natural phenomenon, like gravity is to us?

as of right now Alastor has an advantage but hasn’t won. he seemed pretty eager to keep Lucifer away from the hotel and her. Lucifer completely rebuilt the hotel with his powers then moved in well Alastor was gone. making any further deals will be much harder with lucifer because he’s just as capable of granting charlie’s wishes
My theory is really simple, Alastor's favor is that Charlie has to sign a soul contract
What if Alistair made a certain deal with Charlie that Lucifer couldn't allow her to fulfill and so takes her place instead which ultimately redeems him and since it was actually alistair's plan all along, it ipso facto redeems him as well?
So I have a theory about what the favor will be. What if it was to either for real or to pretend to get married to him. Either way, Lucifer would not like this knowing Charlie’s relationship with Vaggie, and would likely strike a deal with Alistor to call off the wedding.
I thought Hells hierarchy was measured by respect, not power, because hellhounds can easily kill imps and other low demon and whatever, And anyone could’ve killed Octavia when she was a child if her parents just weren’t there, same with Charlie, maybe it doesn’t count when there kids but, no matter how strong you are you can still have a bad day be sad or sick then get beaten up, like has Lucifer never been so sick he can’t move and has to stay in bed? U could kill him then?
