This is hands down the best flying RC SR-71 ive seen. Well, i guess a foam board version may land even slower but you know what i mean. cults3d.com/:2...
Would you possibly design the Me-262 HG3? It's the high speed version of the Me262 with embedded engines, (NORMAL T TAIL) with increase sweep and highly swept wings.
@@cestaron634 whoa 😯😳 this gave me goosebumps looking it up. The similarities are uncanny! Great find, that is a new one for me. Have you seen the SR-72 Penetrator? It's the meld between a 71 and an XB-70 Valkyrie
Do you (or a buddy of you) have an E-Flite SR71 for comparison ? Which airfoil do you use for this plane ? 684 grams with the 1300S4 battery ? Please send one to Abby and Nate (RCSaylors) for a review, I would love to see that. Cheers Nik
@@hotlapkyle Thanks! I was given 2 E-flite 40mm EDFs but HorizonHobby won't tell me the amp draw. My own static test showed about 12 amps but yours seem to draw much more.
I have no experience with 3D printing. Yes, you can scale up anything if you know the original actual model dimensions. You may have to interpolate some of them but it can be done. My first and only EDF scratch-built model was a twin 70mm EDF SR-71 Blackbird. It only flew twice b/c I built it too heavy. ua-cam.com/video/PThsS5iXwnI/v-deo.html
@@hifinsword Thanks. I'm fairly experienced with 3D printing, none of that is a problem for me. I was just wondering about how the various joints will behave when scaled-up. Will they still align properly, that sort of thing.
Real nice Bro! Drop me a line if you are interested in helping put my buddies Tesla coil,Neg resistance device into a drone? Which would allow unlimited flight times.
Why would you have torque roll? You have two fans now wait a minute you’re such a genius that you don’t have counterrotating fans. Oh boy. Seems you don’t know what you’re doing to you
Hi, I realy like your design planes I am using a bambulab printer and haven't done a lot of LW PLA printing and havind lots of issues with stringing atm I am usin Overture Air PLA as it almost half the price of Esun LW PLA do you have an idea of good settings to stop the stringing ?
Man that is so cool!
Idea for next project... X302 from Stargate SG1

Legendary request activated. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@fijo6207 what i hate the most is that barely anyone has made it. or atleast i can't find anyone who has.
@@cestaron634 it's was an experimental design still on paper. Perhaps it's true aerodynamics are not viable. I still want to see the attempt.
@@fijo6207 Yup. Also the Ju-EF132 would also be sick.
It's kind of a psuedo B52 but from the Germans designed at the end of WW2 by Junkers.

Is that printed in LW PLA? It turned out really nicely!
Yes. It was mentioned in the build video.
The LEGEND strikes again with another amazing design that flies EVEN BETTER🔥🔥🔥
You had me at SR-71...
thanks for this plane..going to get the bits and build it
Man this is cool
Looks so weird without the intake cones… I get they’re restrictions though.
You should sell kits print them and all the electronics I bet they would sell.
як завжди класно!
The Darkstar sr72 from maverick would be pretty cool.
Now you just nee to build the son of Black Bird .. lol SR-72
English electric lightning might be amusing
A-10 NEXT ?
Do it do it
It would take it out of the yank and bank models he typically does, but I’m with you. I’d like to see an A-10.

Are you using 20A or 30A ESCs? Are the motors the XFly 5000Kv motors?
@@hifinsword dual 20amp

Could you make a file for a predator drone build. 🙏
Boss.
Can it be scaled up, to use larger fans?

What is your price on this plane if you was to sell it?
$66 million in 1966 dollars
How much you want for it? You better not lay a finger on her!!!
