I'm not sure exactly about the fabric since I haven't made this in about 3 yrs, but the original says Cotton fabric, 1.5 m each in different colors (i.e. 3 m cotton fabric in total) 1.5 m volume fleece 295* (partner link) washable filling cotton* (partner link) for a pillow measuring 50×50 cm (approx. 4-5 handfuls of cotton wool). The bottom is 53cm square, not inches! So the side of the triangle that meets up with the bottom is also 53cm, and the other 2 sides are 59 cm. Hey one last message ! As triangle shape isn’t the pieces separate from the lining and batting ? Isn’t that 3 pieces ? For each of course lining and main and then batting as a box would be four ? If I’m going by the directions right it says there is four peices per each item basicly ? Idk I don’t want to mess this up but in my head I can’t wrap around that other then maybe the bottom pieces being 4 with two for the lining and two for the main besides the cushion ? I’m trying to make this and I’ve cut out a box basicly with the measurements listed Abd now I’m cutting out the triangle side part which I really hope I can make this ! Thanks so much again !
Lord in heaven ! I just figured it out ! I’m sorry ! I was so confused ! But am I right is without a pillow isn’t just two of each piece ? But with a pillow it is would 4 pieces right ? I’m asking I’m sorry if I’m making a big deal but I really like this video and idea ! Okay is seam allowance 1/2 inch other than the circle which is two rows at 1/4 ? I am so sorry I just wanna cut and get everything right ! Thanks for the last time ! I promise no matter what ! Bless ya
Each side has an outside, a lining and batting - and that's all in a triangle shape. You sew each layered triangle together. There will be three that are full triangles, and one is layered but the all have the hole. This makes a pyramid shape and is attached the bottom square. Since there are four sides (triangle) that basically have the same measurements - I think its 53cm x59cm you are cutting out 4 outer fabric, 4 lining, and 4 batting. one set of that 4 you will cut out a 22cm circle. I hope that makes sense!

But only one of these triangular type thingies lol I have searched high And low and thanks to you ! Ty again ! Okay how many peices please in blocks all togther !? Also the link I can’t find it ! I’m gonna try to figure this out myself but man if you have any helps or links please share ! Thanks

Put those directions until google translate to read. It is not too complicated, just many pieces. just keep each side in a pile - there will be four. Three sides will be identical, and then the fourth is the same but with the circle cut out. Then there's the floor that attaches all the sides, and the optional bed. I think in the video I also show the dimensions I cut everything to. Good luck!
I found that after a while my material was too heavy and flopped a bit. I bought two dowels that were 36" x 1/2" and cut them in half, so I had four 18" long dowels. I put one dowel in each of the triangle corners, so they all meet at the top. They are sturdy enough to hold the cave up, and also the perfect length that they won't come loose on the kitty and stays in place.
The kitty will worm up to it!

Treat your cat very gingerly, and only bathe them when absolutely necessary! Also, this cat cave can go right in the wash!
