It's great to see another track out there. I'm done for the winter myself. Very good choice of cars to get out there aswell! Vintage style Tamiya always belongs on the home track!
I'm really enjoying these shootout videos, keep them coming! Yeah, the times might not be amazing, but it's a big relief that the slowest RC is actually slowest, ha ha! I did a similar thing last weekend (still haven't managed to do a video with it) and my slowest car was slowest, but only by a bit, meaning I was too poor a driver to utilise the advantage my faster cars had, he he... Great fun, and nice idea with the magnetic strips on the beer fridge, cheers!
Thanks, mate. Get that video out! Haha Yeah, we spend most of our time downstairs, and that's where the beer fridge is so it kind of worked out well. 😅
Love it!! I'd be out there all day on that! Have a look at Craigs videos on the OAG RC and his Orchard Raceway series. He used his phone and its camera on a tripod with an app to record his laps. May be something to think about going forward. Look forward to more of these running videos...
Thanks, mate. We just finished the chassis for our shelf queen Grasshopper (re-re), and I installed all period correct electronics. (Nothing works, of course) but man, I'm so glad we have 2.4g these days haha SO MUCH WIRING!!! hahaha Bite the bullet, mate, and get a Novafox. You won't be sorry.

Thanks, Paul. Between you and me, we only ran these cars because they were the first ones we grabbed that were running. But it worked out.... haha
I remember running my old Tamiya's in the backyard with my Jack Russell barking and running around. Good memories.
Nice track btw. 👍
Thanks, mate.
Nice Time Trial 👍🤝 These cars (old style 2WD) are at home with this off road track 👍
Thanks, mate. We're still getting used to track driving. We are not good at it at all haha

Thank you, my friend. I've seen some of Craig's videos, thinking I might have to watch some more. These running videos seem to be popular...
Laptrax is a good free app that is excellent for lap timing and is very easy to use.
I have the wild one, grasshopper original, and the holiday buggy. Wish I had a novafox.

@TamiyaTalkRC I would if I had the money.
