Just the fact that they were able to hold a live concert despite the rules is amazing. Where I live, concerts are banned all together :/ Would've LOVED to have gone to this, even if I had to sit down!
Miho can be proud of what she's achieved. She co-created the best Metal band in the world (to me, anyway). The girls will go on - and I don't think they'll shut the door on their friend. 🤘💜🐺

Thank you Jen for such a heartfelt comment and for your openness in sharing your own struggles. Music is getting a lot of us through tough times, and Lovebites most of all. They make me feel that anything is possible. Also, thank you for the words of support for Miho. A few idiots have gone off on her, out of their own pure selfishness, so she needs to know we love and support her. Her departure seems to have been prompted by some pretty heavy personal issues, so she doesn't need trolls in her life now or ever.
As for the band: It's amazing how humble these women are. They always give credit to their influences like Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Helloween, Slayer etc., but honestly, they are surpassing all those bands. Their songwriting is better, and in sheer virtuosity they are breaking into uncharted territory. It's like all the great old bands were gangs fighting it out with six-shooters, and this new gang showed up in dresses, packing phasers. We can only hope they keep it going somehow.
She deserves the utmost respect, support, and love. Trolls always gotta troll 🙄 they’re never happy. When they’re unhappy with themselves, they always display that by being pricks. I agree with you wholeheartedly, she has some struggles, and has helped the masses heal with the music she’s help create. So they definitely need to cut the poor gal some slack. It’s a damn shame with ppl are so selfish like that 😞
We wish Miho the best in whatever journey she will embark in the future. We're sad that she left LOVEBITES, but we want her to be happy in life. And if she finds happiness by leaving the band, then we will respect and support her decision all the way. Our eternal gratitude for her for creating such an amazing band that, personally, has saved my life from my own hell through the last two years. Be happy Miho. Wolfpack loves you 🖤🖤🤘🏼🤘🏼

I try telling friends who don’t “get” stuff this heavy. I just get blank looks. This combination solo has to be up there with anything in the history of metal. Mind blowing.

@@JustJenReacts Yes, it was interesting to me that I did not have a 'favored' band member for many months from first joining the Wolf-Pack. But listening to their songs and watching the concert videos and "Awake Again" studio-live where they each dress uniquely (not in white) and got to watch her (them all) more closely, I grew to admire Midori's guitar play for her fluid style of cascades of notes that strike me more of a 'voice' speaking emphatically, not using the familiar 'phrasings' (I am a guitarist also) but 'taking me places' musically that inspire in unusual ways. Then there is her stunning beauty and powerfully joyous presentation... Then, after finding Midori to be a 'magnetic' fascination, I discovered that her name means "green"!! Words don't really say it, do they? My world has lots of green, from the videos I make each day of the natural surroundings to towels, bedding, dishes, and I have worn nothing but green shirts (long & short sleeve, same color) since 2013! Even the music equipment trailer I bought a few months ago matches the Midori Birthday shirt lettering I received a month later! Perhaps it is our destiny to be Midori fans! She is SPECTACULAR !!

I know Midori's got a special aura. She looks like an invincible amazon, though she actually is a sweet and cute, a little shy girl in person. And Miyako, she is still shy just as Japanese girls are, but all smiling and happy, and joking person in private. Interesting that the magic of the stage changes personality. They have their roles as professional. Midori the Warrior, and Miyako the enchantress.
It works. I didn't know Midori was shy in person. I would never have thought that. Miho seems shy to me. Haruna too.

Thanks for getting to this one so quickly Jen... then again, when a new Lovebites video comes out, it's hard to resist! I saw a picture of Miho out with a friend on Twitter yesterday, she now has her hair in a bob cut. I hope she finds the lifestyle and fulfilment she needs to be happy, no matter what that involves. As for the rest of the band.. I'm sure they'll go on and do more amazing things. This new DVD will be amazing, and hopefully they'll release another song from it before the actual release date.
They are improving their concerts, it is good to see pyrotechnics. Musically they are perfect. Let's hope to see the full concert with songs never recorded live ... Frozen Serenade for example.

I'm a person who doesn't really care about bassists when it comes to heavy metal. But Miho is an exception, Apart from being beautiful and good-looking, she has charm and charisma on stage. But there is still hope, because there are Asami and Miyako who wrote and composed most of Lovebites' songs. Oh God, I wish Miho changes her mind and come back to Lovebites. 😢😢

First, Miho will always be the proud mama of one of the best bands ever put together and the heart and soul of the group. Second, may she find peace and happiness with whatever answers she is looking for to her personal issues. Third, why does every female have a crush on Midori (LOL), is it the absolute looks, the stunning ability, the self assurance...or maybe all of that from a woman who gave up piano and Pharmacy school to learn guitar at 20 and follow her dream!!! These woman are an inspiration to any young lady out there, never ever believe that you can't chase your dreams, but remember you have to work your a$$ off which makes it well worth it. Now to the song, does any other band play Thrash better LIVE than Lovebites? what a stupid question!!! When this song allegedly was written and they couldn't play it, so being Lovebites they practiced it till not only till they could, but did so until it was flawless in the process especially LIVE. Great reaction. Wow, Miho hit me harder then Marco. But hoping you do Epilogue, this is an incredible heart wrenching masterpiece. Tissues recommended. The lyrics you may really love. Very powerful song. It has me in tears Every time. It hits me harder then Poet and the Pendulum. Asamis beautiful vocals, lyrics, and guitars that cry. But audience couldn't cheer, mosh, etc, only applause.
Nemophila doing Oiran and Dissension live outdoors in May, is incredible. Know you reacted to Dissension, but Mayu on stage the screams, the hair banging is incredible. Hazuki s hair windmilling, heh, Floor not the only one that does it.

The crowd couldn't do much because of the strict Covid rules, they could only clap, no screams and no cheers. It sucks but it's the only way they could play a Live show this year!

Both men and women are attracted to these things. Watching bands like Lovebites, Nemophila, Band-Maid and others absolutely dominate a traditional male market is the kind of shit I live for, it’s the most metal thing since metal 😂

From what I've read Miho is still having trouble dealing with the loss of her father. If you watch their song 'Journey To The Other Side' You will see her pain. She wrote the lyrics, and she co wrote the music with Miyako. The show was only a few months after her fathers passing.. There's a part with her and Asami together that will tear your heart out. It is a difficult decision for bands with Covid. Do we as in this case, have gapped seating no cheering or mosh and circle pits but perform live or do we make a live stream? It must be difficult for the band as the audience response has to be muted so the band does not get the energy feedback.

just a word. as much as i respect MIHO'S DECISION, I FELT IT NECESSARY TO ASK, AFTER THINKING ABOUT LOVE STORIES IVE HEARD THROUGH OUT THE YEARS.
