Sitting here chuckling at 13:30 - group of Duke of Edinburgh Award kids. The look on the face on the lass bringing up the rear is priceless!

I enjoyed virtually hiking with you. I see more and more that the land is not Very different from the Eastern U.S. Some blogs I first watched have wonderful hikes, but all of barren hills, though beautiful. I'm glad as the fairies for the woodlands. Thanks for the peaceful journey! Happy trails. Hope to see more and to come someday. My own Grandparents nailed from Glasgow. Fraser clan..the good ones I hope.😊

Hi Edward. Enjoyed your video. I walked this Jan 18. And it was a foot deep in snow that day. With a blizzard. So its nice to see the walk with out snow.

Many thanks. That's a LOT of snow. Hopefully you didn't walk it with a squeaky tripod.

Many thanks Justin. The Rob Roy Way's a cracking long-distance trail.

Another nice informative video Eddy, thanks. FYI, 'aqueduct' is always for transporting some kind of water, 'viaduct' is a 'way' or route in its own right ie. typically for people or vehicles. My old Latin teacher had a joke about 'aqua' (Latin for 'water') in that if you repeatedly say it quickly, it sounds like ducks quacking - try it and you'll see! You can remember it that way. The '-duct' ending comes from [duco - ducere] (vb.) meaning 'to lead' in Latin. So an 'aqueduct' leads water and a 'viaduct' typically leads people.

Thanks. You've got me sitting here saying the word aqua' over and over again. The neighbours are wondering what's going on! ('Hallo? Is that 101? I'm hearing a very large duck next door!)
I have such a scattery brain that stuff like this always confuses me. I think there are just some things my brain refuses to learn.

I've not yet done the whole Rob Roy Way. I understand there are a few route choices after Killin. I look forward to doing the remaining sections. Enjoy the walk.

Followed by a wee bird? It’s what all over 60 year male walkers wish for.
