Female is by far better, more cunning and with more character. Male is very monotone and emotionless. Both have merit to the charecter but I'm more drawn to the female.
Also I love the male resorting to trolling the opposition... although I don't know which pulls off "Murder and Mayhem await." and "I'm not cute, I'm deadly." better.

Hmm both are pretty suited to the role in different ways. Male - Has the smooth and velvety voice that fits for a manipulator and schemer. When he speaks its sounds like he is calculating almost every word he says and is saying the right words to elicit the response HE wants. Female - Is the more emotional, Inquisitive and has a curious nature to the voice. Like if she saw ruins or something that piqued her interest she would research it as best she could, get its secrets and use it for her gains. Out of the two the female has more inflections in her voice and shows more emotion than the male one, while he's more reserved and controlling of his speech/words. For example the line "You are one dead man" they say it differently. Male states it is as a fact but more throw away, like its already happened cuz he planned it that way. Female however is more "You are one. Dead. Man." with much more anger in the words like she is going to kill him right then and there.
Totally agree there man. Though I find the male seems bored sometimes when he speaks where as the female will seem bloodthristy or excited. Why I love to have assassin's as females and sorcerers as males. Feel the voice fits the style of the advanced class perfectly
I call it "Commander Shepard syndrome". Was the exact same case in Mass Effect. Male shepard is very calm and stoic thanks to Mark Meers voice acting. Jen Hale on the other hand made female Shepard very expressive and showed way more emotion. For an example of how Female Shepard acts and sounds, just play the Female Trooper in this. Jen Hale also voiced her and is essentially just doing her Shepard voice.
Kind of why I lik Male voice for Light Side Inq. Light side Inq has been more about strengthing the Empire and building connections to strengthing him or her self so the planning and duplicitous voice fits well.
Overall I'd say I prefer the female, but the male has his strong moments as well :) Liking surprises for example. Also, I had to do copyrighted music removal where the fem inquisitor gets her lightsaber and the audio quality dropped :(
To me the male seems more calm and reserved in most situations, a quiet sadistic streak , while the female has a more whimsical, agitated, and unhinged tone to it. I'd dare say it leads to them almost being two different characters even with the same dialogue.

In vanilla - female voice is way better (that is not to criticise the other actor). What is sad is that over the course of time the actress got bored or something. The other actor on the other hand got better - more nuanced.
@@adriltythorin6702 To be fair, it is fairly easy to understand that once you give it a thought. Let's face it. It's not so much a role in the traditional sense of the word. There is no playing of the other actors in a dialogue. I know I would get bored with a character that does not necessarily develops/grows, etc. The actress may have just felt like "Oh, it's a job - let's just get it over with". Or I might be wrong and the bored, disinterested voice was intentional. I find it hard to believe though. To build upon my point. Consider Valkorion's voice actor. A much more of a role. For SWTOR I would go, for example: Sith Inquisitor: Female (more sense for Zash, Andronikos romance, then dump him for Lana, gear towards Darth Nox or more subtle - Palpatine style Sith) Sith Warrior: Male (triangle with Vette and apprentice, kill Baras, gear towards Neutral with branching options) Jedi Knight: Female (a fight to walk the light through the trauma of the war, options to go full dark side or full light; her story could end by either becoming the grand master once Satele dies, or killing Satele (DS path) and planting corruption in the Jedi order. J. Consular: Male (as above, just played from a different angle - as he grows in power - have him more pulled to the dark side. Agent:Female (sex, corruption, stronger ties with the Chiss, strong trauma of leading a double life). I feel like the female voice is just OOZING with that power hungry vibe like “I promised myself that when I got my freedom I’d do whatever it takes to gain as much power as possible so I’ll never feel that helpless again” (which is how I played my inquisitor) and the Make voice is just feels like a master manipulator, he makes people feel like they’re in charge while he’s already 3 steps ahead and is the one holding all the strings
Female SI for me, hands down. SI is my favorite story and I've played through 4 times now on female, only once male. I LOVE the inflections of the female voice talent, especially the way she says "Murder and mayhem await."
each seem to match a different character. The female shows her fun while the male sits in the back and chuckles. I like the male more, the female also seems to talk faster.
I prefer male for SW and female for SI. Especially because the Sith Inquisitor is best played DS in my opinion, gotta love all those Force Lightning scenes. Adding to that, the female voice gets even better later on, I just finished replaying KOTET and KOTEE with a female SI and she sounds much more...powerful? Confident. Very confident, properly representing her titles and her might.
Female Sith Inquisitor hands down. Her voice takes more dry, emotionless sadistic, callous and slower tone after her ascension to power past the class storyline and I really loved that touch. It's more apparent in the expansions.
Female is better at crazy, Male is better at menacing. Funny enough, Female Inquisitor can sound really nice if you pick certain dialogue options, like telling Harkun he was a good teacher. It’s fun playing a bipolar character.
I vastly prefer the female, I really don't like the sound of the male voice, and I like her attitude. But which was a better VA outside of my own bias? Eh, it's a wash. All the VAs in this game are very good.
I would marry the female Inquisitor 😊 And the male seems to be a good friend for the future 😂. I think both are the BEST V ACTORS of the game (on the players characters options). But i like the female one better, she has a sarcasm and comic sauce that the male lacks. To be honest i think that the sorcerer has 3 types of personality: the meek and lightside one (the stupid one that always get kicked by his enemies while hes being nice), The SCARY and serious psychopath (wich follows the path of power STRAIGHTDOWN to hell) And the CRAZY, INSANE, COMIC and ludicrous one, wich is evil only for shits ang giggles and is the unexpected vilain of the galaxy. Sometimes his hubris gets him in bad and embarassing situations, wich is even funnier. I think that the male voice fits fits the second type: the no joking mode of playing, the oure vilany and hatred. And the female voice fits best as the third one, he who fucks everything 😅
I have a hard time choosing honestly but if put on the spot I'd say the female Inquisitor. Her VA puts so much more inflection and emotion into her lines than her male counterpart. He has his strong moments, his almost deadpan delivery of his lines are golden, especially some of the more sarcastic ones (Yaaaaaaawwwn).
As of now I've played up until the revan expansion with my female SI as a comepletely sadistic, arrogant, and bloodthirsty sith, and I think the voice is absolutely amazing. Heard her performance drops a little in the later expansions, which is a little disappointing
I seriously love how the female Inquisitor voice turns me on in every way possible. But I still love the male ones more, simply because it fits his character so perfectly. Cool, calm, doesn't care about anything that happens to him or what he has to do to reach his goals. And finally, if he finally reached his goals, he is like "Hmhm, just as I planned." Love this dude~ Btw: I love how you named your Sith Inquisitor "Like Comment" XD
I think the female is the best voice actor, if you play as a DS character. And I think the male voice actor, is the best one if you play as a LS character :)
later on, sometimes the male inquisitor's voice gets all monotone and it sounds really cool with the voice modulation i have on i also just really like the male inquisitor's voice
There both really good, the male sounds calmer, cunning and more sinister-i also love the whisper like tone, and well the female just sounds bat shit crazy-you can really feel her emotion when she talks about killing or torture. Overall i kinda prefer the female because i think it suit the power hungry crazed sith.
It's kinda weird how even when the male says something angry or aggressive, it doesn't sound like he's actually angry, it sounds more like he's trying to spark certain emotions out of the other person
My favourite lines are “I am not cute, I am deadly.” And “uhoh Ffon is in trouble”. Female SI pulls off the sarcasm/insanity better. She was my first character in SWTOR on account of the voice. :)
Male is calmer and more puppet master like.
Female DS is sadistic and more crazy. like on Alderaan "You tortured him without me?"
Pretty much my thoughts on it. Female feels better for Darkside, Male for Gray/Light (More Imperialistic).

6:29 is my favourite interaction. Nothing quite funny like a rookie Sith apprentice giving one of the most powerful Darths in the empire attitude.
Female is better at crazy, Male is better at menacing. Funny enough, Female Inquisitor can sound really nice if you pick certain dialogue options, like telling Harkun he was a good teacher. It’s fun playing a bipolar character.
Props for editing this. Must've taken a looooot of time and shuffling
it did :)
Great idea for a series!
thanks I'll continue doing it for sure :)
I have a light side rattataki female as my main for Imperious, a Male human for Occlus, and I think a female togruta for Nox
It must be funny because the Male and Female voice actors are like opposites of eachother in real life.
how so
I vastly prefer the female, I really don't like the sound of the male voice, and I like her attitude. But which was a better VA outside of my own bias? Eh, it's a wash. All the VAs in this game are very good.
They're both so fucking good.
Fem inq sounds more sarcastic and emotive.
Male inquisitor though sounds more snarky at times and can sound far more threatening imo.
Girl reminds me of Azula. Anyone else??
The Female voice is more emotional while the male voice is more sinister. While I prefer the female voice the male voice has a more evil tone to him.
I would marry the female Inquisitor 😊 And the male seems to be a good friend for the future 😂.
I think both are the BEST V ACTORS of the game (on the players characters options). But i like the female one better, she has a sarcasm and comic sauce that the male lacks.
To be honest i think that the sorcerer has 3 types of personality: the meek and lightside one (the stupid one that always get kicked by his enemies while hes being nice),
The SCARY and serious psychopath (wich follows the path of power STRAIGHTDOWN to hell)
And the CRAZY, INSANE, COMIC and ludicrous one, wich is evil only for shits ang giggles and is the unexpected vilain of the galaxy.
I'd definently have to go with the Male. Especially since he sounds like Ace Balthazar
I can't decide, certain lines fit for the male, some for female
Male, without a doubt. The female has its moments but the male is impressive all around.
SW!F is the best for me. That accent is to die for. I wouldn't mind replaying the whole story from start to finish for the second time.
Overall I think they both have great moments than the other, I personally have more female sith inquisitors though
As of now I've played up until the revan expansion with my female SI as a comepletely sadistic, arrogant, and bloodthirsty sith, and I think the voice is absolutely amazing. Heard her performance drops a little in the later expansions, which is a little disappointing
The female is way more energetic but somehow the male is more dominant but wayyyyyy calmer
I seriously love how the female Inquisitor voice turns me on in every way possible.
But I still love the male ones more, simply because it fits his character so perfectly. Cool, calm, doesn't care about anything that happens to him or what he has to do to reach his goals. And finally, if he finally reached his goals, he is like "Hmhm, just as I planned."
Love this dude~
Btw: I love how you named your Sith Inquisitor "Like Comment" XD
nice!
Harkun is so funny lol "Slave!"
"How dare you torture someone without me?" My favorite line, especially when the female sith inquisitor says it.
I think the female is the best voice actor, if you play as a DS character. And I think the male voice actor, is the best one if you play as a LS character :)
I really like both of them! I love the Inquisitor story a lot!!! The first one I have ever done too! :D
The male SI sounds more pure evil but the female sounds like she could go either way
later on, sometimes the male inquisitor's voice gets all monotone and it sounds really cool with the voice modulation i have on
i also just really like the male inquisitor's voice
Both are good. But, Male fits the class description better.
There's this one dialogue option. "Uh oh. Ffon's in trouble."
Both are good, my favorite is male because i loved playthrogh with him.
I like the female voice more but the German voice for the male character sounds really good
Man I love the female Sith Inquisitor's voice, I get all crazy inside.
I absolutely LOVE the female inquisitor. My main
I like the fem if I go madness sorc, and masc if lightning sorc. Those are definitely NOT the only disciplines I play😂
Found out that M Inq was also the voice for Paul in the dune audiobook
My favourite lines are “I am not cute, I am deadly.” And “uhoh Ffon is in trouble”. Female SI pulls off the sarcasm/insanity better. She was my first character in SWTOR on account of the voice. :)
The male because it sounds villainous but it can also sound like a hero's voice.
And because my main is a male sith sorcerer.
Female version = Mad Genius
Male version = Sheltered Genius
