    These videos make me miss doing Electrical Engineering. I love how clear you are, easy to understand, good speed, and not too much. Love it! 😘

    Thank you for your wonderful support. Recently I had one of my camera losing picture. I checked the line in the power supply where its connected ,looked fine.The last thing I did on camera side was to open the bnc inside the bracket ,clean some dirt and reconnect and voila it was online! Also another thing strange is that,in powersupply unit there is one LED off but the camera that is connected to it still works..Otherwise thank you so much for these super contents 🎉

      The situation of the LED going off and still producing power should be that the LED itself is spoilt and not the fuse for that LED blown, that is a phenomenon that can happen because the LED just feeds on the power from the fuse and not in series with the power from that line.

    Please what happens when I mistakenly placed the +ve and -ve polarity of the power cable wrongly.. that is the +ve goes to the -ve and -ve goes in to the +ve terminals

      The camera will be short circuited and spoilt, thesame applies to any device to which you feed a reversed power polarity, that negative to positive and vice versa

    Hi there, l am trying to install cameras to my house.
    Here is the problem, I use BNC cables to connect my cameras.
    When the cables are rolled video signal is good, and everything is working fine.
    When I unroll the cables with camera connected the video starts to flicker, and continues flicker until I roll cables again.
    When I try to connect unrolled cables with camera, it seems that there is no signal in DVR.
    Is there solution to this, like some kind of amplifier or just I need to buy better cables?
    Cables are about 19m long.

      Hello,
      Please is it the same cable you used and it was clear that became unclear?
      Please explain what you mean by rolled?
      Please let me hear from you.

      @@Tech_Inside_Out When the cable is coiled. I mean when the cables are not unpacked and they are at the short distance, they are working fine. But when they are streched they are not working

    Sir what could possibly be the cause of camera flickering? I used a cat5e cable for my installation. I used a male adapter to power my 7 cameras and I've confirmed the power adapter is working. Could this loss in picture be caused my the balun?

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  5 місяців тому

      I suspect low voltage supply to the cameras due to low cable thickness. If you use less than 3 pairs of the cat 5 cable, you would experience low voltage to your cameras.
      So i suspect low voltage because of your cable thickness

      @@Tech_Inside_Out yeah I used 2 pairs...so you suggest I should use 3 pairs instead to combat the voltage drop?

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  5 місяців тому

      @opssonopsson8282 Yes, you should use 3 pairs for power and one for video.
      Your pictures will improve marginally but the best results are produced when you use coaxial cable with power

      Please what is the resolution of your camera? I asked because cameras do not really take much internet bandwidth like.
      Kindly disconnect the camera and check if it is really the camera that is contributing to the slow speed. Please let me hear from you.
