I know it seems like I buy a lot of stuff but I have a glass kettle and I'm terrified I'll knock it on the floor. I have bad luck with breakables.

I just spent a frustrating morning going through reviews for this pot and many others. This is a new pot. The reviews point to problems occurring later, such as rusting, leaking, fire hazards (this particular pot, actually), and just plain stopping working.

The spring loaded hinge on the lid is designed to easily break rendering it un repairable and useless

Virtually every house in the UK has a kettle, this would have taken around 2 1/2 mins to boil as our electricity comes in at 240v. 👍🏻

I just came back from the UK and wanted to purchase such a pot and skip using my microwave to boil water. At 4 minutes this is the same about of time as the microwave. :(

i just dont like the plastic window, i dont want any plastic part tocuhing the water at that temperature
