You are very talented! I love it all!! If the markets were open as they used to be, you'd sell out quickly, I'm sure!! Lovely work! Have you cooked very much with Thrive yet? I follow another channel and they do quite a bit of cooking using their Thrive supplies. They're distributors as well. I have some; it's in my sub-pantry. Haven't tried any of it yet though. Have a good one!!

You are so talented Lorrie and I know you love what you do and that's why your pieces are so beautiful. Yes, it's time to end your garden, you still have great harvest coming, It was so nice watching you make your lovely pieces, the colors are phenonium. My Husband made me something from a thick board and cardboard made into sail boats and painted the ocean and birds and I have had this since 2001 and wouldn't give this up for nothing in the World. Your Heatproof Resin worked, Congratulations!

That is really cool. Several years ago I worked at a plastic mold injection plant that made flower pots and planters. During the color changes I would save the pots that were streaked with different colors, some of your art work reminds me of that. I liked them like that, I had a lot of them.

Would shellac be heat proof! You could always use them as wall art instead of trivets. They are beautiful!!!
I considered that, but they might be a bit heavy for wall art. If I wasn't able to make them heatproof, I was going to add them as decorative touches to our outdoor garden beds. Thanks so much!

Have you tried the Krypton heatproof spray? I'm not sure if it would work, because acrylic and resin are going to melt no matter what you cover it with, o, nevermind, lol, you got it done, lol. Great Job! Thanks for sharing. God Bless! Much Love! Take Care!
I did try several heatproof sprays, but the ones I found did not work...I even tried engine enamel that's supposed to be good to 500d...still stuck...Happy now though, this epoxy resin seems to do the trick!

Have you tried baking after using engine enamel? I bake mine on 200 for 30 minutes to activate the sealer. No sticks.
Good for you!! How long did you let the resin cure, before trying the heat test?
Thanks Donna. The first time I let it cure for a full 60 days before doing the heat test. Now I leave it for about a week, but add a warning that it may need to cure before becoming completely 'stick' proof
