Lol i'm holding out hope for any of your videos that would be ' too long'! Your vast knowledge and your marvellous narration are unlikely to ever wear out anyone interested in the topic. One of the few channels i will click on immediately at the appearance of a video and as a rule watch twice. So thanks Victoria and please don't hold back 😃🥰
Your positive energy flew off the screen to me in this video. So fascinating that so many smells can be extracted from one source. Speaking of citrus fruits, I am currently enjoying Nice Bergamote by Essential parfums. Just the sweetness and comforting freshness of bergamot is so addictive.
Thank you Victoria! I'll be looking out for that petitgrain video. It's one of me favorite notes in perfumery. There's something about the smell of oranges, no? So full of light, energy and joie de vivre! And so rich and multi-faceted. One could build a whole scent library on orange alone!
Thank you so much for bringing back this delightful video dear Victoria! Orange blossom is together with Jasmine sambac (called φούλι in Greek, quite different from common jasmin) my most favorite fragrant flowers. Enchanting! I wish you could bring back your incense video, it would be a huge gift! Thank you for the beauty that you give us!
Thank you, Victoria. I've never quite been clear on the differences between orange blossom and neroli. This was very helpful, and as always, you are a joy to watch and listen to!
I have this orange blossom and oak candle by threshold, which is one of the target brands, it is absolutely mind blowing. It is so elegant, so sophisticated and so seductive, and so comforting all at the same time, it surpassed anything I would’ve expected from it, although I knew I would like it because I like orange blossom and I like oak and it has undertones of Bergamont and lychee which I also like so it’s a little bit of, all stuff I like.
Synchronistically, sotd is Colonia Essenza by Michel Almairac! 🌼🌿 Lovely laundry-esque rose-neroli floral with a pinch of clove. Never held a bitter orange in my hand though! 😄 I can almost smell it through the screen.
Thank you, Victoria! Such good information, very helpful. I just ordered and received a decant of Penhaligon's Orange Blossom. I don't quite understand why, but I struggle with Orange Blossom. There's part of Orange Blossom that I like and part that my brain has trouble making sense of! So far, I do like the Penhaligon's. Not sure if a full bottle would be in my playlist though, lol. I also got sample of Matier Premieres's Neroli Orangery and really like it. Can't wait for your Pettigrain Video. Longer videos are my favorite and yours are always at the top of clicking to see what you will share with your pupils(us, lol). I would love your assessment of Tom Fords citrusy/Orange/orange blossom/Neroli as well as Acqua de Parma's....thanks!

I finally understand. I’ve been so confused by perfume images picturing orange flowers for both orange blossom notes and also neroli.

I agree. Orange and its family are amazing materials.
excellent video, as always. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I’m so glad you mentioned Roger Gallet, I’ve been wearing it for many years and always carry it in my handbag

Such a pleasure to watch your videos Victoria. Have you smelled Fragonard Fleur D'oranger Intense? It's pretty excellent!
Yes I have, and I also think that it's well-made.
Orange blossom is among my top 3 favorite notes
I feel in love with Neroli perfume because of Yves Rocher Matin Blanc.
