It would have been really nice to hear him say that to Clem, and I think that's what he was about to say right before he stopped and said "no, never mind" instead opting for something different as his last words to her. I guess it makes sense that he didn't want to say "I love you" to her right after she saw her parents dead and then Lee was going to die seconds later. It might make it harder.

I love how this music sets the scene perfectly. The melancholic piano and violin match the mood and the feeling of the scene. While all the while, there is a foreboding "growling" sound that increases in volume the longer the song goes on. The song is building the emotion while also telling the player that Lee is getting worse by the minute, letting the player know that Lee's fate is inescapable.
There are so many games out there that make players feel emotional, this game is a perfect example of that happening, the music, the visuals, the character development and the relationship between the characters, all of it really makes the player feel everything they’d feel if they were in that exact situation, that scene will forever be in my head, it’s so....AGH, ITS SO HEARTBREAKING
