When you get to be a low handicap golfer we often think that you need to buy expensive golf clubs, you need to buy new golf clubs, maybe even buy fitted golf clubs. But buying the best driver of 2022 isn’t always a sure fire method of lowering your golf handicap and beating your friends. In this video I give a -3 handicap golfer a full set of Costco golf clubs, Kirkland golf clubs. To see just how he can play with cheap golf clubs. Let’s do it… and let’s do it now!

Just got a KS-1 last month for $110 to retire my 15-year-old Ping blade which I bought new for $110. KS-1 is truly a decent blade, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Cobra’s behind it. It looks a lot like their Vintage putter.

These clubs are absolutely great value for money for beginners. I think all beginners should use this for a few years, so when they get better and buy newer and better clubs they can appreciate the difference
Im seriously considering buying the kirkland putter. I bought a set of clubs and hate the putter that came with it.
The wedges are absolutely amazing, I always look to get around the 110 layup mark to have a green light for myself with the gap wedge. I use 710 ap2 for reference

As a rtv clerk at Costco those clubs will be in the return bin after this video lol also costco would sell even more if they got rid of the Kirkland marking every where

You lot who laugh at his personality must be great to be around. Leave the bloke alone. I'm here for golf first and laughs are optional, this isn't a comedy show. Even at a comedy show, you don't find the comedian funny, do you walk out, or tell the comedian "you must be a barrel of laugh eh?"
Tom is a +3 for a reason, so listen to his choice of club and shot. You can ask why to learn, of course. Just won't question it while you think he's wrong, unlessy you're playing at his level +2 or +4).
True test would give them all cosco clubs but let him use his own putter. I'd bet he'd still a scratch player at worst.

I'll say this, that set of cobras isn't value it's cheap. The putter, wedges and ball are value. If you want to save cash get used gear, top end stuff 5 years old will cost about what that cap set of cobras will.

Obviously he should be able too. But if he can he will blame the tools hahahaha 😂, I think Tom needs to have a few lessons in life skills. pint off milk is about 95p a lot less than the overpriced clubs that the main rip off brand sells for.
Nothing wrong with those clubs like most clubs use them familiarise yourself with them and practice well if you get the chance to play every day.
To be honest most off these videos are generally the same, different people trying something which isn't new, same content can a pro or low handy cap golfer use cheaper clubs that the weekend golfer uses as they might not have the luxury of buying a full set off a set of clubs that cost about the same as a second hand, ridiculous like most sports rip off the fans.
The quality of golf clubs does make a difference, but the change only increases with your skill level. A pro would not play as well with lower quality off-shelf Golf Clubs, but the difference between cheap good quality clubs and more expensive branded clubs for an amateur is not significant.
Keep Chris and Gaz. Not impressed with Tom. Sorry.

Bit of a dull video I’m afraid. Tom seemed disinterested and not much personality. I don’t like the bad language either.
