    When I was a kid my grandma used to always make it and growing up Cambodian you have to eat it!! I was never a fan of it. I would always pick at the vegetables and just mainly eat the meat. Funny how this is my number 1 all time favorite Cambodian soup now that I'm an adult. Lol

    Omg. My favorite! I didn't like it till I was older, only because my aunts and uncle would make it so bitter, but my mom made it with out the bitter veggies, and it's so good. I'm gonna have to try to make this now. Thank you :)

    I would technically call this a stew because the soup thickens because of the starch from the potato, and because it doesn't have as much water content as soups usually do.

    What temperature you put it under high or medium? What's the herb at the end called in English?

    • @ElissaKitchen
      @ElissaKitchen  9 років тому

      Nina Meas Hi Nina, I normally start with high heat, then medium, and low. As for the herb, I'm not too sure what we call it in English either. When I have a chance, I'll look it for you, or you can google it too. Try searching under Asian vegetables. Hope that help.

      They are call moringa. In Khmer we call it (Mo-Rumm) You can check at Cambodian market in Long Beach or Asian markets. Since the weather is getting cold now they might not be in season any more. You can replace it with spinach.
