HaeIn said she didn’t have the right to cry because she felt guilty about the miscarriage. Women mostly feel like they’re at fault at this scenario. I was so pissed at Hyunwoo for leaving her at her most vulnerable state, imagine losing your baby then your husband emotionally and physically clocks out on you.
I get that she’s so cold and not communicating, but with how terrible her family is, I was more understanding that it’s her defense mechanism. She did not grow up in a loving family unlike Hyunwoo.
But Hyunwoo made up for it for the rest of the episodes so I still love him. XD

When she said 'i have no right to cry',,maybe the way she grew up that way,,her mom blame her when her brother died and still,
@18:00 what she meant by "you have no right to cry" is that she's blaming herself for the miscarriage it's like she's telling herself you can't be sad or cry now when you're the reason the baby died....my heart pains for Haein :'((
I love how psyched up you are to watch this show. It's great that you're so into all of it. Your reactions are just like my own to each of the characters. LOL However, you have to keep in mind that you're getting to see both sides of the story whereas the characters only see one side. HyunWoo's best friend is being super supportive of him because all he knows is that HyunWoo has been miserable for almost 3 years. The employees at the department store thinks HaeIn is mean and cold because she wants people to see her as powerful and cut throat. She hides her moments of softness, generosity and compassion. In their marriage, she held all the power. She told him what to do (sometimes quite meanly) and he did it and he couldn't talk back. That's why they couldn't communicate for so long.
Having witnessed friends and sisters go through infertility and miscarriages, I have seen women blame themselves for things they couldn’t control. I think that’s why she said she didn’t deserve to cry. And why the sight of the baby’s room hurt and upset her.
Also, happy you know about Lee--it's so amusing whenever I hear another reactor mentioned on a different channel. It's good to know the community gets connected in this way. I'm a Patron to Lee mainly for his kdramas and I will say that he LOVED this show. It's ranked in his top 5 currently. Rightfully so. We all are suckers for the good love stories at the end of the day.
I think she didn't tell him she'd lost the baby. She just had the room cleared out and when he got home and saw that was how she broke the news. "We don't need it anymore, it's getting on my nerves seeing it."

In Korea, there are different titles for family members, relatives, brothers, and married family members, but all translations are by name.
At Hyunwoo’s home : Dad, Mom, Old Brother, Old Sister , brother’s wife (brother’s house) | older sister’s husband (studying abroad)
It's TMI, but... As of episode 1, Hong Hae-in's younger brother called Hyun-woo 매형 (maehyeong).'
The translation was ‘Hyeonwoo’. but 매형(Maehyeong) means the husband of an old sister in Korean.

I don't know if it's a cultural difference or if the subtitles/translation is not accurate, but I agree that she does come off prickly (and cold). At first I found it hard to like her but then we got to see more of her inner thoughts and the experiences that shaped her behavior. I grew to like her and understand her.

New Subscriber here! I have no idea if you've already added this drama to your watch list yet, but another really good romance kdrama is Marry My Husband. I can get pretty picky when it comes to dramas, and despite my stubborness to watch it because it was popular (toxic much?), I gave in and was instantly in love with it. Such a good concept of a show--excellent acting.
Anyways, I'm thoroughly enjoying rewatching QOT with you--another great great show. So happy you're loving it! Now I gotta go back an binge all of your other kdramas you covered haha it's good to be here!

Not really. I have one editor putting out these videos. I want to post a video for each series in less than 7 days so it's too hard to have an actual schedule. If I posted it less frequently, like once a week for each series then I could confirm it would be posted on a specific day.

If you’re referring to YaBoyRockLee, I can summarise their reaction to this series: they hate men. No empathy at all for the male character & the female lead can do no wrong. I unsubscribed to them and found you who had a more objective reaction & understood the plight of an oppressed male.
But they did love hyunwoo and haein bro too I watched their reactions
I just always found it cringe, how they kept dabbing up when seeing Hae ins feet for like 2 seconds.
@@Hazardousgalin the first few episodes I even had a discussion with them (they replied to my comments) and admitted they are biased towards the female lead. They might like Hyun Woo but they don’t emphasise with his plight which is the main point
They hate men LMAO watched their reactions and their view is much more nuanced that you're letting on. They defended Haein because the show painted her as the villain in the beginning so they tried to understand both parts. But regardless, of course you'll be biased when watching a drama lol not everyone will root for the same people. They're biased towards the FL, and you're biased towards the ML and that's fine
