I do a lot of fishing in this game and the lure seems... useless? I don't get a sense it nets you more or larger fish, and my line seems to break more often with a lure. I am not sure it is working as intended.

I've never been bitten during those grabs but I've heard you can get mauled. I'd still try it even if I got hit once in awhile.
