I was having the same problem. Thought I had it lined up perfectly in google maps then - no house?!? Thought maybe they built the house but wasn’t totally sure ? Then I read an article with the location manager that confirmed that they did build the house set. Lol part of the fun of looking for locations!
I've never seen a Transformer film. My eyes aren't the best and the CGI is too fast moving for me to figure out what's going on. But when I see slo-mo's of certain shots, I can see how awesome it probably is.
You want to take Hwy 101 to Alexander ave, then R on Conzulman Rd. Then up and around the corner will be a few parking spots. Park then follow the trail to Battery Spencer (you can see it on google maps) Hope that helps!
I think it was called the redwood loop trail? It’s the main trial there. Not very long 3/4 of a mile loop. The part from the film will be towards the end of the trail on the right .
Do you know where they filmed that beautiful car scene at about 55 minutes in, when they are letting go of the steering wheel and listen to the ”everybody wants to rule the world”. Looks like a very nice place!
Yes, on Mt Tamplaise (I hope I spelled that right) it’s just over the golden gate. I was going to drive up the mountain the day I was out there, but the weather was getting worse. Thanks for watching!!
I liked the Bumbelbee movie, but I knew about him from watching the first two Transformer movies with Megan Fox, I thought they were both great movies and in the end of the Bumbelbee movie he turns into a new 1980's Camaro which Shia Labeouf buys in Transformers 2007 as his first car it had just aged all those years.
Yeah I need to make a part 2 no check Out those other locations. I made this one before the movie came out just basing it on what I saw in the trailer. 👍🏻
Hey, what did you think about the movie after seeing out and that the film has been out for a while? I thought the movie was amazing and a good start to a new franchise.
Please can someone tell me the scene where bumblebee falls into the lake after his voice box is ripped out and he scans the beetle, where is that please? Its like heaven on earth.
Yeah, I know it's a fictional movie, and the locations aren't supposed to be real word accurate, but it always bugs me when they get the geography all wrong. Being from the SF area, this movie REALLY bugs me. The location of the house was actually filmed in the unincorporated community of McNears Beach (just above Point San Pedro, and several miles east of San Rafael), with West Marin Island, and the hills of Belvedere/Tiburon in the background. (The Richmond-San Rafael Bridge has been digitally removed). She rides a moped to work at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk........92 miles away. Being that the downtown scenes were filmed in Vallejo, it would have made more sense to have her work at Discovery Kingdom, also in Vallejo. Although that still would have been an epic 30 mile bike ride, since she'd have to go around San Pablo Bay....unless she took a ferry. I did a little research. No house or set was actually built at the location in the film. The scenes of the house were filmed at another location and digitally added to the background shots.
Lol! Yes I felt the same way after watching the movie. If your from the area it’s quite a jolt to seeing her leave her house then she’s suddenly in Santa Cruz - on her bike! I didn’t even think about them not filming at Discovery Kingdom; good point? 🤔 Must have gotten a better deal or tax incentives from Santa Cruz??
I live near Santa Cruz, California and when I found out they were filming Bumblebee where I live I got so excited.
Santa Cruz is so great, I hope it get used in more filming!
its town gossip! everyone talked about this and Us.
I love the Santa Cruz beach boradwalk

Thank you for the video!!! I was looking for the house and this explains why I couldn't find it on Google Maps. Great video.

Bumblebee is probably the best one. I wasn’t a fan of the Michael Bay ones. Too much explosions!
The first two Transformer movies with Megan Fox were great in my opinion, you should watch them.
Fun Fact: at the Vallejo filming scene I was there watching the shooting of the scene. IT WAS AWESOME 🤩 I think
Ooh that so cool!! 👍🏻

Where specifically in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge overlook that Charlie and bumblebee that you saw?
You want to take Hwy 101 to Alexander ave, then R on Conzulman Rd. Then up and around the corner will be a few parking spots. Park then follow the trail to Battery Spencer (you can see it on google maps) Hope that helps!
Stanley Foss yes thank you! I got to check it out over the weekend

You skipped Rock Creek.... up innthe mountains between Mammoth & Bishop!
Yeah I need to make a part 2 no check

I really liked it! Loved the 80's soundtrack, the character designs, and story. I hope they make another film and keep it on the 1980's.
Great job!! Teach me to edit videos!! :)
Thank you! I feel like I’m still learning myself lol. So much to learn and try with video editing. I still watch tutorials on YT :)
Could of fooled me! You’re so great at it. There’s so much I need to learn
Oh and you’re welcome :)
Could you do Infinity War filming locations?
That was a great movie. I’ll have to look into it. Good idea 👍🏻
Most of the movie was filmed on a sound stage in Atlanta, Georgia
Does anyone know what part of highway (near in the ocean) where bumblebee driving with hailee?
Off the top of my head, I think it might be the Mt Tamalpais scenic highway?
Thanks
So the home is not real.how sad, thanks for the video.
No, not real . Just a very elaborate set . I wish it were real too.
@@StanleyFoss I love those mid century homes,I would love to live in one of those.Peace,

So, did they just build Charlie’s House for the movie then tear it down. Or is it still standing?
Yeah they built it just for the movie on that small plot of open land and then tore it down when they were done .
@@StanleyFoss Bummer! I loved the way that house looked. I would of loved to have called that place home.

Rob Chapman Exactly, also from the Bay too, seeing how cool it is to have a movie around my area.
Edit: I know it’s not the only movie here
I saw the bridge in the movie. That's how I got here. It wasn't digitally removed. Oh, Stanley Foss. Awesome work on the video!
bruh I'm at the golden gate bridge right now haha
Min 1:32 The Lost Boys Movie Film Location 🤔
I was an extra in this
Awesome! What scene or scenes were you in??
Where was the area located where Tripp Summers prepared for the jump?
