Homemade Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe:
3 cups oat flour (2 all purpose)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick melted butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk (1 cup milk + 1 teaspoon white vinegar)
1 cup chocolate chips
Bake at 425 for 5 minutes then 12 minutes at 375. Makes 18 muffins.

I love the "shun youthful passions" which is something I don't see.
It definitely is very hard to try to be gentle when you correct others. Most people don't want to be corrected at all, and so it is hard. I tell my sons all the time to always have teachable spirits. I want them to be willing to learn and grow through correction. I also hope that I am willing to be open to correction for the Lord's glory.
I love that! Teaching your children to have "teachable spirits". I'm going to use that! You are so right, it's hard to be corrected, and no one likes it. It's so important, but I know personally it's really hard for me (to be corrected and to correct).
