      Soldier Of Freedom I have a question! With this product did you use it every morning or in the afternoon or at night? And when you have the product in your hair did you leave it overnight or did you just leave it for a few mins? And then wash your hair? 😮 please this will help me a lot to know if I'm doing it the right way? thank you!

      Still GlamorUs i was so glad to find your videos. its aug28 ive been using minoxidil for 14 weeks including 5% for 12 weeks. 3 times per week I put only on front (middle + side), thn 2 times per week i put it all over. i wash my hair every 5-6 days (ive never had oily scalp or hair, always vry dry scalp+hair). in these 3 months ive had lots of regrowth on my front-sides, and moderate regrowth on my front-middle. i dont think thrs much regrowth yet on the back areas of scalp, but i do notice a bit less hair falling out. i did get some vry small hairs on my face here + there, but i just wax it off. i feel minoxidil 5% has been vry effective for me in less than 3 months. they say you have to keep using it to maintain the regrown hair. in October my plan is to start just applying 1 time/wk on front+temples and 2 times/wk all over. note im 50yrs wth lots of male/female "age-related" hair thinning in my family. also ive never had lots of facial hair. oh i shld add tht in the first 2-3 weeks of use (late-May) i did have the shedding effect.

    I want to stop using Rogaine when I’m happy with the hair growth. My dermatologist said it doesn’t fall out if you stop using it but it depends on what caused the hair loss in the first place. For me it was just stress and dieting. I’m glad that your hair didn’t fall out when you stopped. Gives me hope! 😊

    I started using Rogaine after watching your first video on it. Been using it for about a year now and my hair is much fuller, even my hairdresser commented on it. In the beginning I used it religiously but lately I forget to put it on. I do notice if I go a week or so without using it that I have more fallout. I try to use it everyday but I forget some days. I haven't had any bad reactions like acne or any hormonal issues. I'm sure everyone will have different results and reactions to this product.

    Hi Hun, I studied hair dressing for a few years and we learnt about the hair follicles. I believe it's not the actual shampoo that's stimulating hair growth, but the stimulation of blood by massaging the shampoo into those areas. I'm not saying this shampoo won't work , I'm just saying the more you massage areas of your scalp (with or without shampoo) that will stimulate the hair follicles. If that makes sense? Take care Hun xxx

    I wish there was a way to post a picture. In September I cut my long hair off(it was past my shoulder blades), because it was so thin. Since cutting it off I have religiously used Vatika coconut, cactus and also the black seed oil every other night and my hair is thicker, softer and healthier than it's ever been and it's growing back so extremely fast. I shaved it off myself with a one inch attachment and it's already 4 inches long. Natural products are the way to go along with drinking a ton of water and making sure you're taking an intense probiotic to repair gut health. People don't realize a lot of the time that poor gut health leads to a bunch of different health problems and inflammatory diseases which cause thinning hair and hair loss.

      Are you a qualified trichologist? If not then you really shouldn't be diagnosing the cause of people's hair loss on the internet. Even your own personal experience isn't of hair loss. Stop shaming people for using a medicate product instead of a 'natural product' when you have absolutely no idea what it is like to suffer genuine hair loss. Rogain treats hormonal hair loss. Nothing to do with bullshit like not drinking enough water or gut health. I wish I could just drink enough water and cure my sensitivity to DHT hormones, but I can't, and he thousands of men and women relying on Rogain cant either. Coconut oil doesn't cure everything.

    • @Eye2C33
      @Eye2C33 6 років тому

      You are absolutely right about needing to fix gut flora as the oils work wonders for certain types of hairloss. I have found diet is also so important for healthy hormones and hair after suffering from all four causes of hairloss at once. Sugar and carbs are the WORST.

    • @JESSICA-jq4kj
      @JESSICA-jq4kj 5 років тому +1

      I dont think you had hereditary hair loss nothing stops it it happens if a parent had it and so on genetics. Probiotics dont work for that kind of hair loss but good for the gut for good health you need a healthy gut. Coconut oil makes hair healthy as in shinny soft and grow hair that you already have not hair that you've lost already sorry but rogaine may be the only thing that works but my cousin told me it causes infertility so havent tried yet do your research.

    • @tec09cultivation31
      @tec09cultivation31 5 років тому +1

      No. Only if there was hair loss. Minoxidil works by stimulating the follicle to grow hair. It doesn't thicken existing hair. It reactivates dead follicles.

      @@TheDrippinSwagoo it's the same and much dryer actually. Dry scalp and rough hair cuticle result from the use of Minoxidil especially when used for more than a month. For thin hair the only real option for increased volume is clip in extensions or styling techniques.

    • @noscrubs7198
      @noscrubs7198 5 років тому

      Actually it does. You have hair thinning because the hairs that fall out during the normal growing phase grow back slightly thinner. That’s why our hair gets thinner with the passage of time. Minoxidil counteracts against the shrinking of hair follicles and keeps your follicles nice and open for them to produce thicker hairs. Try it! I wouldn’t go for the 5% as it causes too much facial hair for my liking but the 2% is also as good.

I contracted sepsis after major surgery and 3 months later my hair started to fall out. I lostv30/40% of the hairs on my previous thickly haired head. It never grew back. I desperately need rehabilitation of my hairline as my scalp can clearly be seen to a depth of at least an inch. I would be so grateful if anyone out there can advise me, or even if you have been through the same thing the support would be wonderful. Does Rogaine work after hairfall following an infection?

Search for Biosil capsules. Before buying I looked up reviews on them & actually saw someone mention their chemo treatments & how the capsules helped their hair grow a lot. I swear by these supplements. Doesn't contain biotin either which I like, that way I don't get breakouts. Hope you try them, they seriously work so good!! I used it a couple times and had crazy heart palpitations so I haven’t tried it again but I’ve been thinking of trying again. I’m also concerned about facial hair growth. I know this can happen with some women. Any thoughts? Experience? Advice? Thanks.

    Does it only work for woman who have had hair there originally before? Or does it work if hair has always been thin in a certain area?

    I have two places on the back of my head that is just gone !! . I thought it was bc I laid my head when sleeping , but that’s not the case so I got some minoxidil 5% and I am trying to get the nerve to just start using it, and after watching ur video I’m am going to start using. The only thing I’m worried about is the percentage bc I have the 5% I’m wondering if I should use 2% So any info on that please let me know

      I'm 64 and have been using Women's Rogaine for almost three years. I stopped for a few months and was shocked at how thin my hair was without it. Hair does fall out when you stop. I started again and it's back. It works!

    Casey is it? Anyway, hello Glamour Girl :-) It is now nearly October 2020 and after watching this video I wondered if you ever did an update to this one? If so, would you please direct me to where it is, and if not, would you please be able to do an updated video on whether or not you continued using Rogaine or if you decided not to in the end and why you decided to stop. Thank you so much. Keep safe, wear a mask and above all, have fun :-)

Then did some research and found that alot of people reported their skin started aging badly and creating many wrinkles due to minoxidil stopping to the collagens in your face. JNP Raffa - DON'T use castor oil while pregnant!!! It's a stimulative laxative (used for people who have constipation). It is known to cause uterine contractions, which can induce labor.
      Ask your doctor for suggestions (or a pharmacist - walgreens, cvs, walmart, etc.).
      Hope that helps!
      Hope you have a healthy baby!
