I'm not sure I would hang any curtains or drapes because it might look unbalanced. I don't think the window needs them. Maybe put up a tropical bamboo window covering that fits inside the window opening?

I am a Designer as well and I have used this same mural on a flower shop owners office I did the same thing and it came out beautifully. Yours looks so nice. I love the colors, great choice. I definitely would hang drapes or curtains, ceiling to floor. Get larger night tables. I always watch your videos and steal your ideas. Such a great job as always. You keep putting out great videos and we will continue to watch. Until the next one you stay safe and healthy. Also keep the wallpaper scraps you can cut them to fit frames and make wall decor.

That’s an eye opening idea. What do you think. I have an image in my mind for my room & trim that I have.
Definitely! My walls are pretty tall about 9 feet. So if you have an 8 foot while you probably wouldn’t even need to do anything. But I thought about doing crown molding but I didn’t want to go to the extra step at this point but if you had a nice big crown molding he wouldn’t even have as big of a gap on the bottom. If it’s going to be seen I would definitely skim coat the bottom to smooth it out a little bit... thanks for watching!

Love that mural! Did you only use 1 can of paint for 3 walls?? Definitely larger night stands and I absolutely love window dressings! So yes on curtains! I love color so I personally wouldn't go with white bedding but it will probably be amazing! I hung wallpaper for a living in one season of my life and loved it! Tyfs! As usual beautiful work!💖
Yes I only used one can for three walls and I actually had leftover believe it or not. It was very thick paint. I still haven’t decided what to do about the window curtains but I think I will do a white on white if I do something. Thanks so much for watching!😃💕

I love the "OOPS" Paint section!!! You can find some really fun colors!! Also, I do not use painters tape either. I do all the cutting in & my hubby does all the rolling. We just painted my new grand-baby's nursery...getting it ready for her arrival in August. :) Some great projects coming on that room make over!! Can't wait to see the rest of what you do to this room!!!!

Love love love. Yes to crisp white bedding and pop of maybe cerise pink or yellow accents. I would definitely hang one curtain on a lovely rail maybe from left draped to the right. OMG what do I know you’re going to make it look fabulous. Cannot wait for the rest.
I love this room!! It's gorgeous! In wonder though, could you use the extra wallpaper & piece the bottom half? It might be a lot of work finding matching patterns, but it might be a way to finish that wall. Just a thought. 😁
All the design shows I watch say curtains dress the wall and not the window. That window will be tricky especially if you want symmetry on both sides of the bed. But I LOVE the wall paper. Sooo pretty!
That mural is perfect. You don't need curtains just a blind to match the throw pillows on the bed. You finished the end drop of the paper perfectly. What a good start, can't wait for the finish reveal., 🇬🇧🌺
That wall paper is to die for!!! Larger bed and night tables!! Even though at first glance the room does not appear that large, I really believe larger furniture(queen bed) would keep in scale with the wall paper and look so rich and welcoming.
I absolutely love that wallpaper!!!!! I do think you need some type of window treatment but not necessarily drapes. Drapes to me feel heavy n I think your wall already has a lot beautiful airiness n drapes may drag that. Just a thought ☺️

I love that wall paper also and I think it would be so nice with the white bedding and the wallpaper has so many vibrant colors to choose I don’t know how you’ll pick. I’m partial to any shade of blue and I think that orange would be cool in small amounts. You just tackled that wall paper like a boss.
Absolutely beautiful... gauzy white drapes on the window would be lovely but add the green to the bottom on the mural, the white trim does the job of separating the mural and paint and the drapes would look better over a coloured wall 💚
I promised years ago after taking off so much wallpaper ,I would never put it up again. But after seeing how much it changes the room I think I might consider it

WOW, I absolutely love the wall art, I’d be obsessed to, it really is beautiful. .. As for bedding, I only ever buy white for our master bedroom, I can then change all the accessories without having to buy all new bedding, just cushions and a throw, and maybe flowers. So I absolutely agree with the white bedding. I can’t wait to see the final revel, it’s going to look amazing. xxx

I do not like floor to ceiling draperies on a shorter windows. They look sloppy to me. Personal preference. You can go above the window and slightly below, but not to the floor. Get a different headboard. I'm just not a fan of upholstered headboards. They get soiled so easily. Some kind of open design to complement the mural. You have so many color options. Everything goes with green. It's nature's favorite color. I love the changes you've made thus far. Can't wait to see the finished product. Gotta go. Chewy.com order was just delivered. Be safe.

@@designedtothenines I had a wonderful day. One granddaughter sent me lunch, then an hour later a basket of Impatiens. Then a video call. She has 5 little girls 8 and under!! I had contact from all three children, 2 grandsons and my son in law even texted me. It was the best one ever. Our church was ok ut in the parking lot in separated chairs..very different, but it works. It was a beautiful chilly morning but was a gorgeous day! Hope yours was wonderful too. The mural is outstanding. Thank you for showing us all your wonderful projects!!

I hate painters tape... A necessary evil! I would never go back to using it to paint a room. I will use it in tricky areas. 😃

WOW, I absolutely love the wall art, I’d be obsessed to, it really is beautiful. .. As for bedding, I only ever buy white for our master bedroom, I can then change all the accessories without having to buy all new bedding, just cushions and a throw, and maybe flowers. So I absolutely agree with the white bedding. I can’t wait to see the final revel, it’s going to look amazing. xxx

I do not like floor to ceiling draperies on a shorter windows. They look sloppy to me. Personal preference. You can go above the window and slightly below, but not to the floor. Get a different headboard. I'm just not a fan of upholstered headboards. They get soiled so easily. Some kind of open design to complement the mural. You have so many color options. Everything goes with green. It's nature's favorite color. I love the changes you've made thus far. Can't wait to see the finished product. Gotta go. Chewy.com order was just delivered. Be safe.

The brand is Behr but unfortunately it’s oops paint so there’s no color name and they put paint over any codes. 🤦♀️Such a bummer.

@@designedtothenines I had a wonderful day. One granddaughter sent me lunch, then an hour later a basket of Impatiens. Then a video call. She has 5 little girls 8 and under!! I had contact from all three children, 2 grandsons and my son in law even texted me. It was the best one ever. Our church was ok ut in the parking lot in separated chairs..very different, but it works. It was a beautiful chilly morning but was a gorgeous day! Hope yours was wonderful too. The mural is outstanding. Thank you for showing us all your wonderful projects!!

So beautiful! I have the same dull wall issue, but do not see myself drilling holes for mirrors or wall hangings. A mural like this is so much better!
