Oh no…. I saw him in concert had front row seat. He came up to me and shook my hand several times along with the other members. He was such a nice man the whole group was and they played their number one hit songs! They ended the concert singing “Elvira.” In fact we were the last ones out because we were so close to the stage I was able to set my phone up on the stage while I was dancing and swaying back & forth to their music! They came out after the concert & talked to us the lead singer to Exile who is best know for the hit song "I Want To Kiss You All Over" is married to the lead singer of The Oak Ridge Boys so we also got their autograph! I was so close I got great pictures too! What a great loss to Classic Country Music. It seems like we are losing all the Great Ones.Awe....now this really makes me cry as it was stated about Joe Bonsall "But JESUS and his family always came first-and we will see him again on the Promised Day.” Believe me I saw him in concert up close you could "see" Jesus in him! You really could!
I was lucky enough to get to hang out with William golden at the Golden nugget casino In Biloxi ms a few years back . He’s as down to earth as they come . He talked about his grandkids a lot and about his career and how he got started singing . I took a few pictures of me and him and Richard Sturban too . Richard was a very quiet type fella . Didn’t say much at all he just smiled and agreed with everyone lol . But that was really cool and I’ll never forget it .

Years ago down at Nashville Fairgtounds Speedway. Before Busch race. They sang national anthem right on the lower steps just a few feet from us with no music and one microphone.
My mother named me after this song when I was born in 83. Thank God they weren't singing Elvira when she couldn't think of a name. Thanks mom...thanks.
Bobbie McCauley : The song Elvira came out in 1981 and Bobbie Sue came out in 1982 so The Oak Ridge Boys sung Elvira before they ever sung Bobbie Sue and before you were born too
How nice to meet another Bobbie. My middle name is Lou so my boy cousins nicknamed me Bobbalooie. Everything in this song fits except the middle name and my mother's name. My dad was Robert and he named me. I also live close to the county line. Not saying which states. LOL I love this song!

The greatest bar fighting song of the 1970’s 1980’s of all time.. The first night Jerry Lee heard this song he tried to visit Elvis at Graceland and got arrested.

Love it! Love how all the rest are wearing tuxedos and forgive me Lord for forgetting his name, the bearded fellow doing his own thang wearing his jeans and just rocking it like he does.
@stecklein7 if you don't like don't like the way William Golden is doing his own thang wearing his jeans and just rocking it like he does ( as you say ) then pay no attention to him . I don't see nothing wrong with him wearing his jeans ( at least his jeans doesn't have all kinds of holes in them and he keeps them pulled up too ) and I don't see nothing else wrong with him either !!!!!
on their way out here. after the success of elvira. but a classic and they hold a special place in my heart. i have familyn in oak ridge tenn. and remember the pride of the city when it came to these guys

Why can't modern country be like this...just good old fashioned southern rock with a twang
Original Classic Country Music has been no longer a thing for quite sometime, unfortunately! 2:25
Because there's no auto tune or rap behind it
The 1980's was the best decade ever. America was truly great back then.
