Born and raised in Colorado and this is my dream base.
I can't stand the heat of summer, and while most people want to go to Hawaii or somewhere warmer, I'm perfectly happy in a place like Wainwright or Drum.

In 66' the called it ALCOM. I was in the 472nd. They said it was hardship duty and I never understood what the hardship was.
