    Awesome, thanks for showing this. I ended up making a fence for my saw because the supplied one had trouble locking to square. Other than that, once setup it's a really good saw.

      You're definitely not wrong about the 2000 years adjustment. On mine I see there's no fine adjustment (when tightening the bolts they kept pulling the blade out of alignment) so I ended up shimming one of the bolts with a thin washer which luckily got the blade to within 1/1000 of an inch.

    Thanks for the info, I've got one of these coming in the next few days and this will save me a lot of fustration, for many of us working away at home who don't have the space and money for a fancy saw we have to make the best of these cheaper saws.

      Just a quick fix, I just put tape on the sides. Dipende na lang kung gaano kakapal tape na gagamitin mo. Its better to use a non-friction tape pero pag tingin ko ng presyo hahaha, ang mahal pala. So just use what's available, and it will work just fine.

    after loosening the bottom screws what did you do to adjust the blade parallelism

    • @DonDIYProject
      @DonDIYProject  4 роки тому +2

      Sorry because it really took some time to adjust. Sad to say that there's no micro adjustment, I just give it a light tap then tighten the screw when it's already aligned .

    • @rohendyhoseadrang7581
      @rohendyhoseadrang7581 4 роки тому

      Yup, quite sometimes. It took me 3 attemps. My lucky way: I have to loose all 4 allen screws at both end. Use dial gauge and put zero. Then tighten 1 allen screw only at one side end only. Whatever value read on dial gauge just keep it. Then tighten the other screw. Make sure while tightening the value doesn't change much. I was lucky it dind't change. After that ZERO the dial gauge.
      Then move dial gauge to other end and also rotate your saw blade to that side. What surprise me was the dial gauge change only -0.01mm. Now here is a bit tricky. While tightening the screw keep an eye on the dial. Make sure it won't change much. If not stop and tighten the other one. By doing that i managed to get -0.02mm at this end and 0.00mm at the other. So i guess i was lucky.
      Before that, my blade tilting at 1.25mm. Fuhhh
