Can you tell me, is the snowflake mode just for maintenance for stored vehicles over the winter? - The reason I ask is, I have a vehicle that is a daily driver and driven in winter conditions. Becuase its driven daily in the winter should I be using the standard vehicle mode or use the snow flake? Again, I'm only asking because I'm not sure if the snowflake mode, although meant for cold conditions, is only intended for maintenance on stored vehicles/or vehicles not being driven for extended periods. The snowflake mode should be used in cold temperatures in general. The mode will still put the charger into its maintenance mode once the battery is fully charged. It essentially delivers a bit of a higher rate of charge to compensate for the affects cold weather has on the charging process.
