Great Planter, I've always liked them for their simplicity. Even though they are a simple design, the actually do a very good job of planting!!! And maintenance is a breeze!
We had trouble getting the fiberglass top for the hopper, we were told we got the last one in the country, we were told the fan motor is obsolete and the pto hydraulic pump is obsolete. I think as far as everything else you can still get the parts. My dad bought the planter new 1992. We’ve been considering getting something else but we really like the center fill and the air delivery.
@@secondshiftfarmer8123 I know shoup manufacturing sells the hydro pump for them as for the rest of the parts you mentioned I’m not sure either. I found 2 sitting in fields and since there’s not a lot of content on UA-cam about them I thought I might take those two and try to build a small split row machine w it b them this winter and video tape it. Maybe between the two units I’ll have enough parts!
Let me know if you guys end up needing some parts, I might have them on one of these field find planters. You’re just on the other side of the state so not far away

They are great planters, it’s just getting hard to find some of the parts for them
@@jakebridges5888 case IH not carry all the parts for them anymore I’m assuming?

Your beard is awesome!
Draft control is stuck on in 3 point hitch. You need it in “position control” not draft control
