- Hey guys and welcome back! Today I'm showing you all the behind the scenes of me working from home. I work fully remote while taking care of my two-year-old. Our days can vary day to day depending on my workload and how Troy is feeling. I keep myself on track by making sure that Troy is on a set schedule where all his needs are being met. I try my best to keep him occupied with plenty of sensory toys and screen time. I make time for myself by going to the gym in the mornings before work. I also wanted to add that this was a "good day". Not every day goes this smoothly, especially when I have multiple meetings in a day. Working from home with a young child can be extremely overwhelming. I hope this video gives another work from home Mama encouragement! We got this!! ❤️

I have been looking for remote jobs so I can stay at home with my child. But no luck since I don’t have experience or the equipment.. but this video was a motivation to keep going ♥️💯
I pray you find something soon! When searching up jobs try searching up”operations associate”. I find that a lot of data entry jobs come up with the search.

Your doing a fantastic job!! I'm doing the same thing as you, working from home while caring for my two year old. It is very trying at times and I feel I need to get him on a better schedule. Seeing you do it gives me inspiration to do this! Any tips on getting him on a schedule?

That's brilliant! Doing chores while you "toddler-wear" to put him down to sleep. Do you find that he sleeps better when his feet are tucked in like that? I have a baby carrier but my babies feet stick out of it.
Thank you! I don't think makes a difference. I believe its the body heat that he enjoys and that's what helps him sleep. :)
I am so glad I found this video. My daughter is 2 and I have been working at home since she was 3 months old. I have a similar story in that I was so focused that I forgot to change my daughter. I felt so guilty. Recently she has been more fussy and I know that its because I have been in transition looking for a new job and working on a side hustle. The biggest thing I got from your video was it won't be easy but it doesn't have to be hard. We have a set meal and nap time. But I really need to work on making time to give her fully attention.
It’s definitely not easy but one thing I can tell you is it gets easier. Especially once you have a routine! You got this mama! ❤️

if you workout at home, you'd save a couple hours a day. 5-7 at the gym vs 30 mins in living room. Also what class did you get the binder with matching shapes? It looks fun and perfect for kindergarten prep
I was just thinking about this the other day! The gym is nice and all but I can do the same workouts in my living room. It got it from Etsy, they have a whole bunch.

Good job momma! You’re doing so great. I’m currently working from home with my 6 month old😩 and as you mentioned how it was hard cause they start moving around more and needs more attention. I start to feel like I’m neglecting her when I’m working. Any tips or tricks on how to manage work and a 6-7 month old baby from your experience?
Hey mama! ❤️ Thank you so much! I would definitely recommend sensory toys. They keep him very occupied. Let me know if you need recommendations. Do you have your baby on a nap schedule? I would also recommend working on the floor near your baby if you can. That worked for me when he was around that age. You got this mama!💪🏾❤️
@@KatlynKadie yes I would love some recommendations! I have some sensory toys and also she gets entertained with the most random items so i use those. She is actually not on a nap schedule. Her nap schedule is around the same time ALMOST everyday. Everyday is so different tho so that's the hard part. how did you get troy on a nap schedule? and thank you for the encouragement

I got Troy on a sleep schedule by tying him on my back. 12:30 works best for me. I’d say pick a time and stick with it. Every around that time you put them down. If tying them on your back is inconvenient, I would recommend the Boba Wrap on Amazon. Let me know how it goes!

Thank you for this video. My baby is 9mos today and I've been STRUGGLING since he began crawling. This is so helpful. I'll definitely try babywearing him for nap time cause it's a fight to get him to nap.
Omg! The crawling stage of the worst!! Have you thought of buying a fenced playpen? If you can, maybe bring your laptop in there with you and work while your little one plays? Also yes! Carrying them on your back works like a charm. Even if they don’t sleep right away you can get lot done while you’re carrying them. Let me know if you need any more tips. I’m happy to help! 🤍

It was such a struggle for and still is some day because I take inbound calls. However my son is in daycare now. But I still find it difficult to get a good morning routine because he wake up at 4am 😩
Girl such a struggle! Omg I can only imagine how difficult it was taking calls with a baby! Thank God he’s in daycare. Waking up at 4am is crazy! Has his sleep schedule changed yet?
