All these elements do help with creating an atmosphere, yes. But you forgot to talk about sound design. I think that sound did a really big job in those clips
It’s probably Microsoft not wanting them to change the game a whole lot, I hear that’s a big reason for a lot of things mojang does, on top of that a lot of people would hate this kind of ambience. I have a few friends who absolutely hate ambience mods when I add them to mod packs and they immediately turn the volume all the way down on it.
@@Exoskeleton2921 well, I feel most of people which are crying becasue of new uptades adding new content are just people who are og or think they are. In their vision, game just should stay in one place, with no changes. I feel minecraft should have something like ambient uptade, and it should go futher, to be better and better. If you don't like it, don't play it, or go play older version, no problem. But yeah, I kinda understand these people, but imo minecraft should go futher, not staying in place
@@theblorus6830 I mean, I get what you're saying, but Mojang totally has the ability to deal with these problems. I think what they could do is update and maintain a legacy version, a modern version (fix bugs, performance, etc., in their respective versions, keep the content as it is) and then future updates they could do WHATEVER they want without worries. As long as they advertised it well, they could satisfy everyone. I don't understand this culture of newer update, better and only thing. They could easily maintain like 2 versions while updating a new version.
Alternatively the MODDING community could do this by themselves, they already have the means to. Modders always jump to the new version to chase the downloads, but if they like an older version and advertised it, they could kind of accomplish this and still get downloads going. Think of how RLCraft will always be a 1.12 modpack
What mods were used for the atmosphere? I usually use "ambient sounds" together with Photon/Complementary shaders and other mods that add better weather particle effects, sound physics and such. They really add a lot of immersion and atmosphere to the game
Made em using Bsl shaders, Insanity Shaders, Complementary too. And the sounds is just added in lmao, but yeah there is a bunch of good sound mods out there!
But what are you doing with the shaders to get that look? How are you getting that fog, fog colours and coloured lighting? How can i use or customize those things ?
The weather/biome gives the fog colors, with shaders makes it really good looking! In bsl there is a funny little setting for colored lighting in lighting tab and turning on multi-colored blocklight, and dynamic handlight!

oh yeah! bunch of sound mods today but i should have talked about one of em....
Step 1: Get mods because Mojang is too lazy to add any kind of ambience to Minecraft.

How did you get the world generation and trees to look like that? Is it a mod/data pack or is it a map you downloaded
