Great vid , Chops. I had my Gen 2 ZZR14 tuned there, based on your GSXR1000 tuning experience. He got 206 BHP at the back wheel and 120 lb/ft out of it, with perfect fuelling. He even put launch control on it for me to, as a freebie. It was scary watching him drilling into my headers but he knows his stuff. I think an H2 SX may be in my future, at some stage.
Nice one LC. Massive power and well done for sticking to your guns. Easy to go for absolute power and noise but have to keep things rideable in the real world. Massive props for keeping the baffle in a the crazy number that came with it. In dyno vids I always look at the torque figure as bhp is rpm based, so to see that gorgeous flat 108ftlbs was amazing at high rpm! Can’t wait to see you ride her, great video as always!
Thanks LCR, after seeing your last video with your GSXR l looked into the whereabouts of CJS and guess what? He's only two miles away from me, what a result, got my GSXR done on Monday 👍😆 Chris certainly knows his stuff. Thanks again LCR 👍
Interesting Chopps, when I set up my MT10SP it was never about the increase in power but 1) air fuel to stop running lean as most new bikes do 2) throttle on off get a smoother transition as with most new bikes it’s a switch on off ----- great video and thanks for sharing 👍
I know your not supposed to swear but, fooooking awesome video.Technical stuff, noise, pipe spitting flames and glowing red/orange, drilling into beautiful titanium pipes, had everything. Can’t wait for the next video when you ride it on the road.
What a video, fantastic. The mind boggles with what these technicians can do. This guy must be one one the best. Thanks for the master class. It's gonna be a hell of a ride Chops, good luck!!!
@@LambChopRides sorry to jump off topic, brah. Can you tell what shock absorber you used on your old Fireblade with the rsv arm? Love the channel BTW! All the best from Scotland, Doug.
Absolutely fascinating, love seeing the tech behind that throttle. Great to see a SME do his thing, another thing again to see him paying homage to 'the Greek" who seems to be on another level again. Thanks Chops & Chris for such an entertaining video.
What an absolutely fascinating vid - with a stunning end result. Methinks a trip to Elvington is definitely called for Chops! Oh, and fair play for resisting the temptation to chase baffle-less mega-power and sticking to your original plan. It couldn't have been easy: especially with wizard Chris on the case. Enjoy the beast bab!! 👍
Thanks Missy! It's a long vid but wanted to cover the whole process, sure the length will put some off but for those that are interested will appreciate it. We are now going to do a baffle out map to add to rain mode. So if I did to a top speed run or private testing somewhere pop baffle out and engage rain mode! Just remember not to use rain mode if it rains... 😂
@@LambChopRides It's a plan so cunning - you could stick a tail on it & call it a weasel! I'm very pleased I was wrong about your continued ownership of the H2. My hungover bonce was spinning after a few minutes, but sticking with it was a really educational & rewarding experience. Have a good weekend chook & thanks again for another fab production. 👌
Clearly a knowledgeable technician on optimising the bike fuel/air ratio but without a visible exhaust extractor I'd hate to think what the room gas mixture ratio was after a long run or two. Not sure a respirator fully corrects for any dangerously elevated CO levels but I stand to be corrected if there are any gas experts out there.
There is good ventilation in there, hes now also added more fresh air feed into the wall to recirculate the air quicker. There is a huge extractor fan on the rear of the room
@@LambChopRides Thanks for the update on that which is reassuring. Nevertheless I think if I operated a similar facility I'd want to continuously measure CO levels (which can drive oxygen all too easily from the bloodstream) for the long-term safety of staff.
