I’m 64 and an Aussie. Ive only ever known the letter h pronounced “haitch” and my parents and grand parents did too. In fact my sister who’s lived in London 40 yrs and her husband say it the same too! When did the h sound get dropped? Or is it an English slang thing, or just plain laziness?

I am confused because I don’t follow the channel the way I should and I thought it was already fixed. But. I agree with the others who say don’t sell it. That is a really incredible machine even though it is pricey. If I could afford another 25k bike, I’d buy that one, and I would ride it every chance I could, and maintain it until I was just too old to ride anymore. Carbon fibre is brilliant to repair, I did a half ass job on my front mudguard the other day and it is 90% better than before. Those parts were a lot cheaper than my estimates, nice job chops
Great vid chops, i bought my dream bike last November, found cruising sround at 100 odd mph a bit risky. Sold it for another svartpilen 701, no regrets. They're just bikes, try another you know it makes sense. 👊
Dropped the H2 SESX last year and it was under 1k but added the Kawasaki Frame sliders as without them I will need a friend to lift the Beast - Great Video as always amigo'
Amazing repair with a good bit of luck along the way. Sure you're pretty happy with the cost, especially with the panel and the freebie. You teased us before with swapping it over for the RR and I reckon you're teasing again. I think you'll keep it mate but it's what YOU'RE happy with at the end of the day.👍

Chops, you need to fix the supercharger issue ASAP! The bracket bolts come loose and destroy the supercharger. Have a look at Kawasaki H2 TIMEBOMB! video on UA-cam.

Why is it that when you own something that you don't really care about, nothing ever really happens to it ? Yet own something that is your pride and joy and everyone and everything seems to try its best to ruin it ! It happened the other day to me. I cleaned my bike....spent hour's detailing it and then the biggest bird crap I've ever seen made a direct hit on it ! The two old bangers that were parked either side of me totally untouched ! 😂 Great video again Chops thanks 😊👍
Great video the updated garage and lighting made the whole video stand out. It so sucks when your drop your baby. I feel your pain, when my RC51 fell of the work stand I was mortified. Almost everything that was damaged was easy to replace except the rear brake, that for some reason took almost 2 months to arrive even though it was "in stock" when I ordered it. At least your bike was finished just as the prime riding season was beginning. Enjoy your ride ;-)
That lacquer's a grand job if it was down to the fibers. The slightest bit too far & they break up & end up going all directions. It's blatantly obvious in the weave when finished. Don't ask me how I know lol Great to see it back in its full glory again. Happy days

Definitely worth polishing out the old can & get the damaged crank case repaired too for spares As for selling it, it's a tough one. Great repair chops! Looking good…Just a little tip that might make it easier when fitting engine covers and gaskets is to thread some studs into the holes, slide gasket on and cover..then remove studs one by one fitting the original bolts. This works well especially on the magneto side.

If those plastic parts you're considering welding up, have fibreglass in the mix, you can't. They'll be a code moulded into the surface somewhere, check first.

I’d probably try to repair the outer panel and keep it on the bike just in case another misadventure not risk 1000 quid expense. I did it with my gsxr. Like with most items you just get used to it and ended up with a box of spare new parts never put on the bike. They are just for my peace of mind.
I miss my H2 but I don't miss the paranoia of ownership... Keeping it clean without scratching, people touching the paint, the attention it generated, etc. If you can afford to keep it, keep it. They are special! I miss my H2...

😂 what a stitch up for parts costs. I dropped my Honda CBF 1000 about two years ago. Bent the clutch lever, small scratch on the fairing, slight scratch on the centre stand lever and the fuel gauge got stuck for a while. Total cost, about £15. Something to take into consideration for your next purchase?

Tough one on whether to sell the H2...there are certainly better bikes to have fun with on our roads. You could sell it, buy something like a Z750 turbo for half the money (or less) as an investment and put the rest towards a bike you'll use more 🤔 dunno, the choice is entirely yours Chopsy !
I thought buying my 1290 SDR it would be a cult bike some years down the road, but no. Too mass produced. Love it to bits regardless. The H2 however is a real cult bike. The limited production numbers ensure its status. Here's what I suggest you do. Ride it, cuddle it, modify it. Sell it when you can get 30 grand for it or more. If that takes a decade, so be it. On a side note, if you're interested in selling it now, I am willing to bid as high as 50 quid.
I know its not the same as an H2 but im currently in this predicament with my v4 Panigale. I love it and dont want to sell it but its so expensive to own and i find myself riding it less and less. I think sadly i will have to let it go for something cheaper and better on the street. I'm considering a superduke to replace it
My advice, sorn it and just keep it absolutely mint. Start her up every so often and in years from now it will be worth serious money. Be silly to sell now chops.
Chops, are you aware of the issue with the bolts that hold the air intake to the blower not having Loctite applied to them? There are stories of them coming undone and ending up inside the blower causing total destruction. There's a video explaining this issue on the 'dirty garage guy' channel.

I feel your pain chops, I came off my bike last year trying to avoid a cat! Finding parts for a slightly rare 20 year old bike is not easy!

Chops, are you aware of the issue with the bolts that hold the air intake to the blower not having Loctite applied to them? There are stories of them coming undone and ending up inside the blower causing total destruction.
There's a video explaining this issue on the 'dirty garage guy' channel.
