Holly caught the first fish, good going girl. It looks like fun. Enjoy the day with your daughter. Thanks for video.good job on the silver persh.God bless.
So glad to see you doing exactly what you set out to do. Full time UA-camr 🥳. One of my Daughters has just completed a PHD. It is based on creating an online program for carers of people with people with anxiety and depression. She is now Dr Elly 🤓 remember that you had gone down that road with your work. But look at you now Congratulations 🎉 Robbie and Family 🥳😎
Thank you so much Sharon. I have gone down that path a long long way. Congratulations to your daughter, that is amazing. I was a carer in my personal life for 10 years and I can assure you that there is not nearly enough support for carers. Not even close. Your daughter is working in a very very valuable space.
Hi rob What can I say , holly did so well , the float is my choice of methods... I love watching a float sink away especially on a misty morning as the sun rises.... Well done rob and holly Thank you both ... Best wishes 😎🏴
Hi Robbie, great to see you both enjoying your fishing together 👍🏼, father and daughter fishing team. Another great video mate and what a great little stocked pond.
Great to see a little dam like that stocked with fish. Great spot to take the kids and enjoy the day. Holly had a great outing and you weren't too bad yourself :) Awesome job Bro squad
Great video Rob, there's a stocked dam i visit. As far as i know there's only Silver perch. But i fish as you did, just a little cheapo kmart float, a small circle hook and some bread. The big silvers come from under the rocks and smash the bread. I once caught 2 36cm specimen. Took them home but they weren't the tastiest fish. Next time I'll release them for another day.
Thanks mate. My experience with Silver Perch is very similar. I call them Crocodile Dundee fish. "You can live on them, but they taste like sh1t". Haha
Is there much eating difference with a pond and lake yellow belly. Great to see father and daughter out catching fish well bloody done. Didn't they change the name to Fletcher dam or something?
Thanks mate. No Fletcher's is a few Kilometers away and isn't stocked. I find yellas vary from river to lake, but lake to lake they're all pretty much the same. River fish tend to be a bit less fatty.
Mate Holly gave you a bit of flogging there I reckon hahaha If you take someone fishing I swear that's how it usually goes, at least you caught some fish though 👍🏼
Sup Robbie, I caught 35 cm perch these afternoons, but I had to let go of it because they're endangered. But I wish you would come and fish on it I cached it with a kayak. somewhere in Murray River in Albury
My pop had stocked sliver perch in he’s dam when he was alive and about 5 or so years ago me and my uncle went down and got a huge sliver, that same dam was also he’s best yabbie dam
@robbiefishing I'll slip two off in the post, rapala owns them now, they do some good colours. But I've got some nice natural colours from pre-rapala days stashed away from a lure buying crisis I had, up until now.
Haha thanks, sounds great mate. But please understand that I may not be able to use them. I will throw them in my box and if I feel like tying one on I will for sure, but I can't set out specifically to use them if that makes sense?
Thanks mate. Unfortunately cameras can't see in the dark. I could turn a bright light on, but I reckon they scare the fish away. Thanks for the feedback mate. 👍👍
Well done Holly, Robbie those small silvers, are they the fingerlings released last year or are they breeding in their? Once again great video and fantastic yellow belly release,
i've never caught a silver perch before so i hope i can learn something from this. but just the other day i caught my first yellow bellie it was 45cm on a size 2 green stumpjumper.😃
I feel sad that there's a man who puts fish in there because the area isn't good enough to make its own fish. How un natural that sounds.. oh well. Great catch holly. Lots of fun.
Hi mate I would like to see you fish at lake lacels my bad if i spelled it wrong lol or Colombo creek my bad if i spelled it wrong too because I would like to see the pussyfish (catfish) again haha
Haha thanks mate. I will definitely be fishing the Colombo again, but I'm not sure when I will get over to Lake Lascelles. I absolutely love that areas and want so bad to get back, but it is such a long way away.
Ya should see what one bloke did to a worm on UA-cam I went greener than the GRINCH NOW THEY INSERT A NEEDLE AND FILL UP WITH AIR FLOAT YA WORMS WITH NO FLOAT

There is something so satisfying watching a fish take your float under
You're not wrong, it's such a great way to fish.
you have taught holly well robbie , top man.
Haha thanks mate. She's certainly a champion angler.

Teaching my niece's and nephews how to fish on a float, has been some of my proudest moments as a uncle.
And moments that I am sure they will never forget.

they are good fun yellows. I recently caught my first lot in a SA reservoir one was 44.5cm and gee they fight well.
WOW What a ripper, well done mate.
Thats an unreal little pond mate. Wish they would stock silver and golden perch in west gippsland, just get bass and rainbows
Thanks mate. I know, I am so lucky up here. I need to get down there one day to catch a bass or two.
Will you make another vault series next year?
Hi mate, absolutely I will. Filming will start any time now. I need to put 13 videos away between now and next June.
Nice, looking forward to that
Great to see beautiful Bro 😎
Thanks Sharon. I can't wait to get out fishing with her again, she always provides the entertainment. Haha
Robbie, you must visit our Fish and Yabby Farm sometime at Narrabri. I think you and Ricko will get on great and could share some great stories!
Sounds great. I would love to travel up there one day.
Robby & Holly cleaning UP on the natives! NICE to see!
Thanks UF, we had a wonderful time.

Hey Robbie have you ever tried the small storm hot'n tots where you are, i catch some good silver perch whilst im chasing yellowbelly on them.

Thanks mate.
Well done you

Thanks mate. They're all stocked fish. From my understanding, Silvers and Yellas both need running water to spawn.
I'm getting silver perch stocked in my own damn and yellowbelly and trout in December
That's awesome mate.
What size hook are you using please?
Hi Ian, I think it was a size 6.
Still can’t go wrong with the vault music
Thanks so much mate. This is my final Vault episode for 2023.
