I would have to say the impact for me that year was similar to when Van Halen came out in '78. It was a great year for rock music. Something new again. I loved it!
It's been 30 years since rock music reached its pinnacle. How come it went by so fast? It still feels like yesterday to me. How I wish I could go back to those days for a little while.

Hah🤩 I’ve been thinking about this since New Years Eve. Think you got them pretty nailed. Great compilation of riffs and a very good reminder to how important ’91 was musically. If I were to object somewhere, it would be on the GnR track you picked. They released two albums that year - both having some tremendous guitar work by Slash. You picked a song that wasn’t even written by them. 🤷♂️
Thanks mate and fair point on the GnR one, for me it was the most memorable riff off that album but at one point i had like 60 riffs i had to cut down from haha
