I have QSC K8 series power loudspeaker. Power supply is ok, power light is glowing properly, but when I insert the mic cord for micing or any other input system, the light glows properly, but the speaker doesn't throw sound. Sir please reply the fault.

I use this speaker for coverage, they can cover 108 degree wide. Sometimes i use it ~ 200 people for fundraise ... you know some light staffs they're very good i just don't want to drive them too much. ...Just an idea so main speakers by the dance floor or ... and put this K8 on some areas wirelessly using the Alto Stealth (up to 200ft) ... now you got sound at the bar & everywhere with good coverage even for outdoor ... that's how i use them.

2 x K12s + 1 x KW181 for gigs around 100-150 people ?
Is it okay or not enough ?
I play lots of music who needs clear kicks and tons of bass

+MrVoxy78 in my opinion if you had one more Kw 181 and put the k12 EXT SUB you will be safe upto 150-200 people or more depending the type of the event.

QSC claims this is a 2000 watt speaker system with 1000 watts each on the tweeter and the woofer. The tweeter horn and the woofer don't look like they could handle 1000 watts. What's your opinion, are they stretching the truth?

You forgot to mention , before you pull apart an expensive PA speaker make sure you have help from a grown up😀
