Exactly what I was thinking! GNCD is keeping theatrics and elaborate sets to a minimum, and yet they're impressive as f. Just /clean/, well performed presentations..... It's like they don't need any of the frills. It's a very strong statement and hecc it gets across.

In my opinion, the other groups changed the originals songs too much. I appreciate that Golden Child kept the vibe of the original song. I hope they win, but at least I hope they gonna be in the top 3.
I am absolutely blown away. This isn't just a competition number. We don't get to see this at concerts. This is a full-on Stage production. The props, the costumes, the lighting, the choreography, and those amazing vocals. The duet with Sungyoon and Donghyun absolutely blew me away; the way their vocals meld is just incredible. We need a lot more of that in the future! Tag's dance solo was wonderful as well! He is truly 80% legs.🤗 And all of the solos were so clear and so dead on: Seungmin's center, Jaehyun proving himself a main vocal, Daeyeol, Jibeom, and of course Sungyoon shined especially bright. This was a PERFORMANCE. There's apparently nothing Golden Child can't do. GolCha Y-Ting!
The fallen black feathers symbolizes the win of Golden Child (white swans) against darkness (black swans). That's why all the back up dancers that depicting black swans died at the end of the performance. Just my two cents tho
this was the best stage so far... they didn't change the song too much but their performance made them shine enough to represent their own colors i'm watching this show to support tbz but golden child really got my attention, they're a very talented team

However, their stage presence was absolutely impressive that they were nothing less than the other groups with stronger looks.
There was also an interview about whay song to cover then Bomin actually said he expects most of the groups will go hardcore and said that he thinks they should go for an elegant but strong performance and they came up with this huhuhu at the end they really stood out

Because that's how they used to. It's kinda disappointing when Boygroups like Golcha was Thinking outside the box and yet they are getting less attention and recognition. How come that one boygroup in this show has a mentor, wasn't that unfair and how can anyone be so sure about the voting system if they only have selected online voters in this episode. No wonder why Mnet remains a bias in this show. No matter how the producer of RTK explain his side, but his actions reveal the hidden systems and agendas behind that show.

If you notice the movements on the really left and right parts of the wings formation, you'll realise it mimics the real movement of swan wings.. So graceful ♡♡♡ I got goosebumps since the start of the song, Y really did a great job to set the mood on the opening act! Their voices were also on point, I can't say how much I love it that Seungmin's voice is the one I heard first ♡♡ Not to mention Tag's solo break dance, he did such a good job on that part! : ) Golcha fighting!!~
The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. I didn’t realise the placement of feathers on the costumes is based on the formation and choreography during chorus until you said it!
I know THE BOYZ's performances are like really awesome, and as a fan of all of them (Mostly TBZ tbh) I can say that none of them should get eliminated, I say all of them should have won, but ya know, it is a competition and it is hard to choose 1 winner but anyways, MNET i hate you.

Honestly out of all the performances in this round, Golden Child is the only group that I actually want to return to. I'm not even their fan but I've been re-watching this so many times
same here! they've caught my attention ever since the very first episode and by then i already knew they were gonna be spectacular. there's just something different about the group that makes them stand out in the show FOR ME, especially during the stages. i'm not even a fan but every time they'd show up in screen i get excited! i believe they'll rise up high in no time. love all the groups though; they're all very passionate, excellent and hardworking. kudos to all of them!
모든 멤버 목소리가 진짜 너무 좋은거 같아요! 도입부 승민 목소리가 되게 사람을 확 집중시키고, 중간중간 나오는 주찬 목소리도 좋고 메인보컬?? 와이 저분도 노래 너무 잘하시고.. 래퍼들 목소리도 특색있고 2절 훅 들어가면서 트윙클링 할때 재현분 목소리도 너무 매력있어요.. 그냥 모든 멤버 음색이 킬링포인트네요 워너비 이후에 더 경연이 없었다는게 너무 아쉬운 그룹이에요ㅠ 앞으로 더 관심 가지고 응원할게요
As a Shinhwa fan myself, this has got to be the best TOP cover I've ever seen! I love how they didn't change the song that much but still managed to add their own twist. I’m just in awe! This is so much better than other groups version? It's 2022 and I STILL don't understand how they scored so low with this performance. It's absolutely breathtaking, and I thought for sure they were going to place high up. The harmonies, the rap, the dance, the visuals...everything was perfection. It's so sad such talented boys were eliminated so early. I know they would have given us some amazing stages if they hadn't been eliminated so early on.

Hands down the most artistic performance in the first round. I mean, I cried over the backstory of every single group because the K-pop industry is such a cutthroat one and it breaks my heart, but Golden Child really knocked it out of the park with this concept! They went back to the roots of the song, paid homage to the original singers, Shinhwa, but still managed to add their own unique and contemporaneous flair. Mad props to the synchronized dancing, beautiful aesthetics, stable and melodious vocals, and the tasteful execution! GolCha went above and beyond what was expected of them, and it doesn't matter what they ranked, because anyone with an eye for true artistry knows who came out the real winner here.
When I watch this video until the end, I hold my breath for a while... like just breathing on sunday and thursday only!! Oh God! As usually woollim always shown their character up on their artists. If you're Inspirit or woollim stand from Infinite's era, you'll notice every single performance on their artist has 'The Band instruments' for special stages. Or something like 'The Orchestra instruments'.

모든 멤버 목소리가 진짜 너무 좋은거 같아요! 도입부 승민 목소리가 되게 사람을 확 집중시키고, 중간중간 나오는 주찬 목소리도 좋고 메인보컬?? 와이 저분도 노래 너무 잘하시고.. 래퍼들 목소리도 특색있고 2절 훅 들어가면서 트윙클링 할때 재현분 목소리도 너무 매력있어요.. 그냥 모든 멤버 음색이 킬링포인트네요 워너비 이후에 더 경연이 없었다는게 너무 아쉬운 그룹이에요ㅠ 앞으로 더 관심 가지고 응원할게요

I’m just in awe! This is so much better than other groups version? I mean T.O.P is such a legendary song and so many groups covered it, but as a fan of SHINHWA I think this was the most beautiful one ❣️ and I’m happy that they didn’t really change the song (they just added some raps and musical elements). 지나가던 신창인데 무대 정말 멋있었어요. 원곡 특유의 클래식한 베이스가 더 웅장하게 들어간 부분도 좋고 안무도 본래 형태에서 자신들의 색을 추가한 부분이 매우 잘 어우러진거 같아요.다른 가수분들 커버무대도 많이 봤는데 원곡을 가장 잘 이해하고 무대를 만들어 주신거 같아요. 이 곡의 멜로디가 좀 특별(?) 특이해서 잘못 편곡하면 좀 어정쩡한 느낌으로 들리더라구요. 멋진 무대 감사합니다. 이 노래는 신화가 처음 1위 했던 노래에요. 1집이 기대만큼 성적이 안나와서 2집도 성적이 안좋았다면 해체까지 갔을지도 몰랐던 시기에 대박을 터트린 고마운 곡입니다. 골드 차일드분들께도 꽃길만 펼쳐지면 좋겠네요.

This was honestly such a sophisticated performance. They did so well.
It's 2022 and I STILL don't understand how they scored so low with this performance. It's absolutely breathtaking, and I thought for sure they were going to place high up. The harmonies, the rap, the dance, the visuals...everything was perfection. It's so sad such talented boys were eliminated so early. I know they would have given us some amazing stages if they hadn't been eliminated so early on.

Hands down the most artistic performance in the first round. I mean, I cried over the backstory of every single group because the K-pop industry is such a cutthroat one and it breaks my heart, but Golden Child really knocked it out of the park with this concept! They went back to the roots of the song, paid homage to the original singers, Shinhwa, but still managed to add their own unique and contemporaneous flair. Mad props to the synchronized dancing, beautiful aesthetics, stable and melodious vocals, and the tasteful execution! GolCha went above and beyond what was expected of them, and it doesn't matter what they ranked, because anyone with an eye for true artistry knows who came out the real winner here.
