i will never forgive everyone who overlooked this performance. if you want a story, then here it is this is seriously a meaningful one since WANNABE is the song that they released after a 1 year hiatus. Member JOOCHAN recovered from his injury, Jibeom recovered from his struggle and the concept they first tried hence the name of the album REBOOT. This was a huge risk since after all they were gone for a year even though they were just a 2 yr old group. Of course no one knows their fate but no. Because the song charted in Itunes from multiple countries, the first mv to hit 10m views in a week, PLUS THEY GOT THEIR FIRST WIN AFTER A MONTH OF PROMOTIONS. they did guerilla free performances, they overcome their fear bc they want to meet the fans but here they are, they did so well. Goldenness waited for a year but here we are now ness, growing and strong! CONGRATULATIONS GOLDENNESS FOR STANNING THE BEST GROUP IN THE WORLD PS EDITED: Since this got so many likes. i would like to remind you that Golcha performed in the cold streets just to promote wannabe not just once but multiple times. I’ve been playing for 7 years and it took me six to even attempt it and it still sounds terrible! Obviously it was prerecorded but Joochan KNOWS how to play - he was first violin in orchestra. He’s truly amazing!

So I wasn't originally a fan of Golden Child, but as a violinist I feel the need to say how impressive this is!! I can't believe that he ACTUALLY played violin ON STAGE!!! AND HE'S SUCH AN AMAZING VIOLINIST??!! No one has any idea how fricking hard this is! He's an idol, like how does he have time to practice??!! and he's moving around while he's playing... mind blown! Lowkey, this is really motivating. After watching this I practised like crazy because of how inspired I was by what an amazing player he is. Wow, just wow.

I don’t have a music major but I know the way Golden Child arranged this song with the violin in the background and that VIOLIN SOLO were a MASTERPIECE. This performance is not as simple as it looks. Their vocals, the song arrangement, the contemporary dance...This performance deserves more RECOGNITION. EDIT: Golden child ALSO deserves more recognition

Honestly, Golden Child’s color has always been more “mature & elegant” than “dark & cool”. Hence why I don’t think they’re doing too well in this competition. Dark concepts seem to be the popular choice (as it should), but even when GNCD do darker concepts, there’s still an elegance about it that isn’t quite everyone’s cup of tea. I am GLOWING @ the other groups loving & appreciating the fact that Joochan can play the violin ☺️ - it just goes to show at at the end of the day, ALL the boys of ALL these groups value talent. 💛💛💛
I actually prefer this type of performance. Instead of them showing something more powerful and almost changing their song, they still stuck to the basics. This was the closest to their original song and choreography, I like how instead of going for something powerful they go elegant instead.

Okey I just watched it because of oneus and I think this show is way more dirtyier than queendom so its annoying but in the last stage I just casually got in their performance, the swans lake concept and honestly it was my favorite performance, you could hear there were live vocals and the elegance... It was a fcking piece of art. And I really never looked for golden child but when the score of the second round was announced I was pissed . I mean at first I was upset and angry because of oneus' ranking but also when I saw golcha's position I was like wtf, did they really put them 5th? That was art and it was a beautiful reinterpretation, I repeat the best performance for me, just so clean and pure in every term. And also the attitude that had this group was amazing... They were the friendlier, like peace maker, and that got me at the first episode. I wasnt paying a lot attention in the show because I cant stand how clownish is being and I just look the performances . And now reading the comments they say they were eliminated? Like what the hell? I get it, it could have been oneus instead but idk it annoys me a lot because this is clearly in another level, im in love with their rearrangment. based on rumors. golcha is the only one who didn't posted a recruitment for third competition online audience in their fancafe. all groups did. last may 19 is the recording of the 3rd round and golcha is having a vlive in their dorm. and also based on rumors, golcha is not seen on the competition last may 19. anyways. golcha deserve better. let us all pray that many non-goldenness will appreciate our boys. i hope woollim will also use this r2k hype for a comeback.
Wannabe is such a memorable song for Golden Child. It's like a total repackage of the whole group. Who would've imagine that these boys are ones who released Damdadi. From teen / bubbly genre to dark / strong concept. Their first win. The title song from their released album after hiatus. Plus the Woollim thing which is an orchestra, and the fact that Joo Chan played the violin. This is something the other groups should consider during ranking, that a violin is a delicate instrument and it takes a lot of practice and effort and precision. This performance shouldn't only be showcased on MNet. This deserves a MAMA stage.

I am a violinist and he wasn't playing it live but its definitely one of the best fake playing performances I have seen. Honestly if you did not know anything about it, it looks like he is actually playing which shows how great of performers they are

As a former violinist, I am actually impressed! His finger placements are so perfect (especially that thumb placement since many people usually forget to place their thumb in the right place!) Golden Child deserves all the respect!
hanna piraneque bolivar joochan is an amazing violinist, but i believe in this performance he doesn’t play it live. i know he can because i’ve seen him play this song before but in this case, he is mime playing (miming?). you can sorta tell because of his exaggerations and some of the notes don’t match up. however, it looks close to real because he actually knows how to play. also performers are usually known not to sing live on mnet (from what i’ve noticed) so it’s probably the same for instrument playing
I think he is playing live, since he practised so much, I don’t think he would have practised that much for a not-live performance but you never know 🤷♀️

Ikr! I love group that like to sing everywhere, like they are true singer not just an idol. For example Jangjun, he is just a rapper but always sing here and there without ashamed and he did great.
I randomly came across this while watching different performances, and then rewatched it five times. I am genuinely in shock. I've been playing the violin for years now, and while I am nowhere near that good, I feel like I need to comment on something... For those that don't know, (I'm sure plenty do, but just in case) that piece was Paganini's Caprice No. 24 which is often considered one of the hardest violin solo pieces. People thought Paganini himself sold his soul, or was posessed by the devil for composing and playing pieces like that- look it up, don't believe some random person in a comment section. Classical music is significantly underappreciated in award shows, if anyone has seen a got talent show (Eg. Americas Got Talent) you'd likely notice anyone who plays a classical piece gets a less positive reception than someone playing something more catchy and popular, regardless of its simplicity. I understand that classical music isn't for everyone, but you have to aknowledge the amount of technique and skill that something like that requires, and anyone who has played the violin, I'm sure, knows how hard pieces like that can be (unless you're a prodigy- can't relate) Paganini's Caprices are so difficult because they include so many different techniques in a single piece, it's designed to portray the complexity of the violin, and show off the skills of the player. Picking, and pulling off this piece, of all pieces is truly impressive, and I am truly dissapointed to hear that they were eliminated, however, sadly unsurprised. Golden Child officially has a new stan right here, regardless of their elimination.

Fiona M I’m not sure but it could have to do with the new format. It changed from the previous season in that there’s not a live audience, and now two winners are allowed. Last season there was only one winner so maybe that has to do with it?

It is actually nice to have bg who differ from anyone else in rtk. While other bg's taking this ideas of power and strength, Golcha shows something else. Golcha is not only taking the ideas of elegant and classy, but they also manage to embracing and performing that particular ideas. They are original. And it is quite sad that people ignores this authenticity just because this ideas are not as powerful as the bg's "should" be. And mashing up classic pieces like swanlake or paganini's caprice 24 to the performances are absolutely brilliant 🍷 Anyway, stand #GoldenChild 💛🧡
You know what, MNET Don't deserves Golden Child. Even if they didn't eliminated as the rumours ; still i don't think Mnet deserves them. I would rather care if that's MBC,KBS or SBS. They know what professionalism is. Voting System is so so....... Since MAMA, Produce Series Mnet proved that they don't have a class. At least in produce series they chose the visuals to win but in this the idols themselves vote, I mean they brought them as contestants and most of them are not experienced enough to judge a performance

Actually his bow change didn’t match the sound he produced and on 3:40 he ended the phrase too early while the violin is still playing. His vibrato is also one of the biggest giveaway cause he shakes his finger instead of his whole hand. I think Joochan realised this that’s why he blamed himself 😭😭 But i believe he recorded the violin performance himself so that is still amazing nonetheless. Also sometimes it’s better to pre-record it to play safe because playing violin while dancing is incredibly hard so I’m totally okay with it
diego the dino my friend has a violin that is connected to speakers without using a microphone. When you lift your bow up sharp and fast, the instrument will still make sound especially if it’s connected to a speaker that’s in such a big space. i played bass in jazz band so i had to use speakers to amplify the sound and the strings were so sensitive that even when i slightly touched them while they were connected to the speaker, they would make loud noise and echo. and different people use different vibrato techniques. the friend i mentioned earlier, Alissa, doesn’t shake her whole hand when using vibrato. she finds it easier to quickly do vibrato with just her finger instead of using her whole hand because that would only make her slower. when i play the bass, i use my whole hand for vibrato but when i play violin, i use my finger to be able to move quicker. especially playing higher notes because the higher the note is on the finger board, the harder it is to get the pitch right. if i used my whole hand for vibrato while playing such high notes, i would risk touching other strings and playing the wrong note.
diego the dino i don’t believe they pre recorded because how would he start at the right time with no signal whatsoever. pre recording while playing a live instrument is dangerous because mistakes can happen where they drop the instrument, miss a note, or even not start on time.
diego the dino i’m sorry one more thing 😭. in the non edited performance where they showed JUST the stage and not those other people reacting, the bow and the sounds are perfectly in sync. i think it’s the fact they edited the performance to add in the reaction that the sound was delayed.
MOON CHXLD I’m studying sound design and i can tell the performance is dubbed over because what he was using is a classical violin with no mic and amplifier. The sound he makes if he’s actually playing it will not sound as crisp/clear as in the video. It will have reverb/echoey sound effect instead very different from the singing. You can definitely fake a violin playing if you practice enough just watch twosetviolin and you will know that most kpop performer dubbed their violin , but as i said he made a mistake at 3:40 (please slow it down at least 0.5x so you can see it clearly) which proves that he’s not actually playing it The 3:40 could be an editing mistake though unlikely because the audio and his bow stroke we’re synced earlier in the same cut. But he really did a great job faking it though

In case you don't know I saw the comment saying that they lack storytelling, so I'm writing this down.. First, they arranged a white violin on the main stage, the frames on top of that and a few normal violins. The duplicate white violin was shot and you see in the way they deck the ending, they are significantly symbolic. At the dance intro, they end by jumping and reaching up. If you watch from the front, I think it was intended to look like as if the tip of the hand is reaching for the white violin. Next, the vocal starts and at this time, the white violin is in Joochan's hand. Then at 1:18, the orchestra version begins for real. Starting from 1:36, the beginning part of Niccolo Paganini's Caprice No. 24 is mixed in. FYI, this is a piece that is famous for being difficult to play. And Paganini was a genius, his musical talent is even described as 'selling his soul to the devil', but he was crazy about music, practicing for more than 10 hours every day and he was said to be always eager to climb to a higher stage of musicality. Now back to the stage again, Joochan starts playing Paganini's piece. At the end, they were shot from above so we almost couldn't see it, but around 4:19, Joochan's hand is reaching for the white violin, in the same manner as the intro. If you take into account them choosing Paganini to play on a violin and reaching for the white violin at the start and at the end, the white violin symbolizes 'the perfect musicality' as well as 'a high stage of musicality'. Substitute this to the preceding situations. Joochan holding the white violin in the beginning is him in the eyes of the public being seen as a musician with near perfect musical talent and skills. He feels that his musicality is lacking even though it is enough, and he expresses his thirst for a perfect music with the movement of reaching towards the white violin. It's too long so I couldn't write everything, but if you focus on the lyrics too, everything lined up perfectly that I got goosebumps. Therefore, in conclusion, their storytelling was not lacking. Thank you for your explaination. Honestly, I thought everyone did amazing this performance and first performance and that no one deserved last place. I actually see the rumor, but I hope that if it is true, I hope that they don't feel discouraged. Last place doesn't mean that they are not good enough, it just what competition it is. ONEUS placed last for 1st performance even though their performance are amazing like other groups, but they stay positive. So, I hope fans could do that too no matter what ranks would it be until final. The real problem is actually MNET set an elimination rules. So, no matter the results is, please don't blame other groups and continue support their journey after RTK.

@@jhoshie5440 He is actually playing but it's a track over it because you would be able to hear it that well. And you can tell he's actually playing it because the bow is on the string, he's using vibrato, slurs and playing towards the bridge and the fingerboard.
I'll be honest I'm not their fan but I was impressed by the violin play by one of the member and also the Paganini caprice they have in their song. I am a woollim stan so I followed these golden babies even before they officially debuted. I must say that they are really on a different level from the rest of the group. Unlike other performances, golden child does not focus so much on props and elaborate stage arrangement. The core of their performance is their musicality and their highly synchronized dance moves. The moves may not be as big or fancy than others, but the execution, the smoothness and again the unquestionable synchronization is a testament of how they are truly deserving of appreciation. Not all BG nowadays can perform on the same level as golden child. Shame mnet if they let go of these gems. Golden child hwaiting!!!!!😍😍😍😍
I’ve seen a lot of people arguing about it and I’m pretty sure this comment will get lost but I just wanna explain things a bit. Firstly I’m not a violinist but I do learn instruments so I have a bit of background in this. The audio was obviously pre-recorded and for many reasons. The rtk stages audio are usually not live and I’m pretty sure that they edit audio over the performance. Firstly, this is a caprice by paganini which I am sure we all know by now that he is known for composing the most difficult violin solo pieces EVER. He had a condition which caused his fingers to be very flexible thus most of his pieces are almost impossible to play. I read comments from actual violinist and they do say if your finger is off by a bit they sound produces will also be off hence the violin is also one of the hardest instruments to play. There is no mic on the violin so obviously the audio is not produced live. Take into account the fact that joochan has to dance while playing the violin, and show exaggerated movements as this is a performance, not a recital. He IS actually playing live, but I think they muted the audio. Joochan DOES know how to play the violin, and he is not pretending. He used to be a first violinist in the orchestra and he practiced for about 8 hours a day to master this piece. The very fact that he can play this piece is already mind blowing. A lot of violinists were surprised that he would choose such a difficult piece to incorporate. This is no do rei mi tune, it requires special technique and the fingering is hard. AND also recalling the fact that joochan CAN’T read sheet music and is playing and learning completely by ear. He is very talented and you have no right to put him down especially if you have no background or knowledge in music. In conclusion, stan joochan and shut up if you have nothing nice or necessary to say.
Even if he didn't play it live, it doesn't reduce the fact that joochan is an idol that can play violin.. and didn't reduce the fact that Golcha is brave enough to bring uncommon music to the viewer.. they must be ready with the critics and speculation but still bring the best performance..

I am a goldenness but mnet just stopped giving jj screentime after the 1st episode so we couldn't hear his funny lines in the last two episodes, so I don't think it will make that much of a difference. But I'll definitely miss their beautiful performances 🤧🤧

Member JOOCHAN recovered from his injury, Jibeom recovered from his struggle and the concept they first tried hence the name of the album REBOOT. This was a huge risk since after all they were gone for a year even though they were just a 2 yr old group. Of course no one knows their fate but no. Because the song charted in Itunes from multiple countries, the first mv to hit 10m views in a week, PLUS THEY GOT THEIR FIRST WIN AFTER A MONTH OF PROMOTIONS. they did guerilla free performances, they overcome their fear bc they want to meet the fans but here they are, they did so well. Goldenness waited for a year but here we are now ness, growing and strong! CONGRATULATIONS GOLDENNESS FOR STANNING THE BEST GROUP IN THE WORLD

Honestly, Golden Child’s color has always been more “mature & elegant” than “dark & cool”. Hence why I don’t think they’re doing too well in this competition.
Dark concepts seem to be the popular choice (as it should), but even when GNCD do darker concepts, there’s still an elegance about it that isn’t quite everyone’s cup of tea.

I actually prefer this type of performance. Instead of them showing something more powerful and almost changing their song, they still stuck to the basics. This was the closest to their original song and choreography, I like how instead of going for something powerful they go elegant instead.

Okey I just watched it because of oneus and I think this show is way more dirtyier than queendom so its annoying but in the last stage I just casually got in their performance, the swans lake concept and honestly it was my favorite performance, you could hear there were live vocals and the elegance... It was a fcking piece of art. And I really never looked for golden child but when the score of the second round was announced I was pissed . I mean at first I was upset and angry because of oneus' ranking but also when I saw golcha's position I was like wtf, did they really put them 5th? That was art and it was a beautiful reinterpretation, I repeat the best performance for me, just so clean and pure in every term. And also the attitude that had this group was amazing... They were the friendlier, like peace maker, and that got me at the first episode.

Wannabe is such a memorable song for Golden Child. It's like a total repackage of the whole group. Who would've imagine that these boys are ones who released Damdadi. From teen / bubbly genre to dark / strong concept. Their first win. The title song from their released album after hiatus. Plus the Woollim thing which is an orchestra, and the fact that Joo Chan played the violin. This is something the other groups should consider during ranking, that a violin is a delicate instrument and it takes a lot of practice and effort and precision. This performance shouldn't only be showcased on MNet. This deserves a MAMA stage.

hanna piraneque bolivar joochan is an amazing violinist, but i believe in this performance he doesn’t play it live. i know he can because i’ve seen him play this song before but in this case, he is mime playing (miming?). you can sorta tell because of his exaggerations and some of the notes don’t match up. however, it looks close to real because he actually knows how to play. also performers are usually known not to sing live on mnet (from what i’ve noticed) so it’s probably the same for instrument playing

I randomly came across this while watching different performances, and then rewatched it five times. I am genuinely in shock. I've been playing the violin for years now, and while I am nowhere near that good, I feel like I need to comment on something... For those that don't know, (I'm sure plenty do, but just in case) that piece was Paganini's Caprice No. 24 which is often considered one of the hardest violin solo pieces. People thought Paganini himself sold his soul, or was posessed by the devil for composing and playing pieces like that- look it up, don't believe some random person in a comment section.
Classical music is significantly underappreciated in award shows, if anyone has seen a got talent show (Eg. Americas Got Talent) you'd likely notice anyone who plays a classical piece gets a less positive reception than someone playing something more catchy and popular, regardless of its simplicity. I understand that classical music isn't for everyone, but you have to aknowledge the amount of technique and skill that something like that requires, and anyone who has played the violin, I'm sure, knows how hard pieces like that can be (unless you're a prodigy- can't relate)
Paganini's Caprices are so difficult because they include so many different techniques in a single piece, it's designed to portray the complexity of the violin, and show off the skills of the player. Picking, and pulling off this piece, of all pieces is truly impressive, and I am truly dissapointed to hear that they were eliminated, however, sadly unsurprised.
Golden Child officially has a new stan right here, regardless of their elimination.

It is actually nice to have bg who differ from anyone else in rtk. While other bg's taking this ideas of power and strength, Golcha shows something else. Golcha is not only taking the ideas of elegant and classy, but they also manage to embracing and performing that particular ideas. They are original. And it is quite sad that people ignores this authenticity just because this ideas are not as powerful as the bg's "should" be.
And mashing up classic pieces like swanlake or paganini's caprice 24 to the performances are absolutely brilliant 🍷

Im honestly so disheartened by the results bc we all know for a fact that golcha has worked so extremely hard for this. Not forgetting the fact that Jangjun has been so supportive of every group since ep 1 by making banners w his phone and being so immersed in each group’s performance. Whatever the results turns out to be, I hope they know that they are loved by so many people 🥺
as an actual violinist he was totally actually playing his technique and posture was perfect.
Actually his bow change didn’t match the sound he produced and on 3:40 he ended the phrase too early while the violin is still playing. His vibrato is also one of the biggest giveaway cause he shakes his finger instead of his whole hand. I think Joochan realised this that’s why he blamed himself 😭😭 But i believe he recorded the violin performance himself so that is still amazing nonetheless. Also sometimes it’s better to pre-record it to play safe because playing violin while dancing is incredibly hard so I’m totally okay with it
diego the dino my friend has a violin that is connected to speakers without using a microphone. When you lift your bow up sharp and fast, the instrument will still make sound especially if it’s connected to a speaker that’s in such a big space.
i played bass in jazz band so i had to use speakers to amplify the sound and the strings were so sensitive that even when i slightly touched them while they were connected to the speaker, they would make loud noise and echo.
and different people use different vibrato techniques. the friend i mentioned earlier, Alissa, doesn’t shake her whole hand when using vibrato. she finds it easier to quickly do vibrato with just her finger instead of using her whole hand because that would only make her slower.
when i play the bass, i use my whole hand for vibrato but when i play violin, i use my finger to be able to move quicker. especially playing higher notes because the higher the note is on the finger board, the harder it is to get the pitch right. if i used my whole hand for vibrato while playing such high notes, i would risk touching other strings and playing the wrong note.

i don’t believe they pre recorded because how would he start at the right time with no signal whatsoever. pre recording while playing a live instrument is dangerous because mistakes can happen where they drop the instrument, miss a note, or even not start on time.
diego the dino i’m sorry one more thing 😭. in the non edited performance where they showed JUST the stage and not those other people reacting, the bow and the sounds are perfectly in sync. i think it’s the fact they edited the performance to add in the reaction that the sound was delayed.
MOON CHXLD I’m studying sound design and i can tell the performance is dubbed over because what he was using is a classical violin with no mic and amplifier. The sound he makes if he’s actually playing it will not sound as crisp/clear as in the video. It will have reverb/echoey sound effect instead very different from the singing.
You can definitely fake a violin playing if you practice enough just watch twosetviolin and you will know that most kpop performer dubbed their violin , but as i said he made a mistake at 3:40 (please slow it down at least 0.5x so you can see it clearly) which proves that he’s not actually playing it
The 3:40 could be an editing mistake though unlikely because the audio and his bow stroke we’re synced earlier in the same cut. But he really did a great job faking it though

I saw the comment saying that they lack storytelling, so I'm writing this down.. First, they arranged a white violin on the main stage, the frames on top of that and a few normal violins. The duplicate white violin was shot and you see in the way they deck the ending, they are significantly symbolic. At the dance intro, they end by jumping and reaching up. If you watch from the front, I think it was intended to look like as if the tip of the hand is reaching for the white violin. Next, the vocal starts and at this time, the white violin is in Joochan's hand. Then at 1:18, the orchestra version begins for real. Starting from 1:36, the beginning part of Niccolo Paganini's Caprice No. 24 is mixed in. FYI, this is a piece that is famous for being difficult to play. And Paganini was a genius, his musical talent is even described as 'selling his soul to the devil', but he was crazy about music, practicing for more than 10 hours every day and he was said to be always eager to climb to a higher stage of musicality. Now back to the stage again, Joochan starts playing Paganini's piece. At the end, they were shot from above so we almost couldn't see it, but around 4:19, Joochan's hand is reaching for the white violin, in the same manner as the intro. If you take into account them choosing Paganini to play on a violin and reaching for the white violin at the start and at the end, the white violin symbolizes 'the perfect musicality' as well as 'a high stage of musicality'. Substitute this to the preceding situations. Joochan holding the white violin in the beginning is him in the eyes of the public being seen as a musician with near perfect musical talent and skills. In the scene where Joochan is absorbed in playing Paganini's piece, the violin in his hand is a normal violin, indicating that he feels that his musicality is not perfect. He feels that his musicality is lacking even though it is enough, and he expresses his thirst for a perfect music with the movement of reaching towards the white violin. It's too long so I couldn't write everything, but if you focus on the lyrics too, everything lined up perfectly that I got goosebumps. Therefore, in conclusion, their storytelling was not lacking. It was metaphorical and embedded very well into the stage. The story was enough

I actually see the rumor, but I hope that if it is true, I hope that they don't feel discouraged. Last place doesn't mean that they are not good enough, it just what competition it is. ONEUS placed last for 1st performance even though their performance are amazing like other groups, but they stay positive. So, I hope fans could do that too no matter what ranks would it be until final. The real problem is actually MNET set an elimination rules. So, no matter the results is, please don't blame other groups and continue support their journey after RTK.

I became a Goldenness through this show and I am so happy, I also listened to Without You and I can't stop listening to it rn, if they get eliminated, which I'm afraid it'll be true, I'm going to be so sad...their previous performances had really caught my eye and was what made me stan them...if they're gone idk how I'm going to continue watching without them :((

@@jhoshie5440 He is actually playing but it's a track over it because you would be able to hear it that well. And you can tell he's actually playing it because the bow is on the string, he's using vibrato, slurs and playing towards the bridge and the fingerboard.

I'll be honest I'm not their fan but I was impressed by the violin play by one of the member and also the Paganini caprice they have in their song. It's not often you'll see a Idol who can play well at violin but they impressed me so much that I want to stan them immediately

맞아요! 제 첫 아이돌이 인피니튼데 인피니트 초반에 못 떴다가 확 떴을 때 전문가들 하는 말이, 초반에 남돌 경쟁이 너무 써서 그렇지, 좋은 곡들 많다. 진짜 인정해요! 그리고 울림이 아이돌을 뮤지션으로 칭하고 그 그룹의 개성을 대놓고 드러내는 쪽이 진짜 강한 걸로 알거든요.
I am a woollim stan so I followed these golden babies even before they officially debuted. I must say that they are really on a different level from the rest of the group. Unlike other performances, golden child does not focus so much on props and elaborate stage arrangement. The core of their performance is their musicality and their highly synchronized dance moves. The moves may not be as big or fancy than others, but the execution, the smoothness and again the unquestionable synchronization is a testament of how they are truly deserving of appreciation. Not all BG nowadays can perform on the same level as golden child. Shame mnet if they let go of these gems. Golden child hwaiting!!!!!😍😍😍😍
I’ve seen a lot of people arguing about it and I’m pretty sure this comment will get lost but I just wanna explain things a bit. Firstly I’m not a violinist but I do learn instruments so I have a bit of background in this.
The audio was obviously pre-recorded and for many reasons. The rtk stages audio are usually not live and I’m pretty sure that they edit audio over the performance. Firstly, this is a caprice by paganini which I am sure we all know by now that he is known for composing the most difficult violin solo pieces EVER. He had a condition which caused his fingers to be very flexible thus most of his pieces are almost impossible to play. I read comments from actual violinist and they do say if your finger is off by a bit they sound produces will also be off hence the violin is also one of the hardest instruments to play. There is no mic on the violin so obviously the audio is not produced live.
Take into account the fact that joochan has to dance while playing the violin, and show exaggerated movements as this is a performance, not a recital. He IS actually playing live, but I think they muted the audio. Joochan DOES know how to play the violin, and he is not pretending. He used to be a first violinist in the orchestra and he practiced for about 8 hours a day to master this piece.
The very fact that he can play this piece is already mind blowing. A lot of violinists were surprised that he would choose such a difficult piece to incorporate. This is no do rei mi tune, it requires special technique and the fingering is hard. AND also recalling the fact that joochan CAN’T read sheet music and is playing and learning completely by ear. He is very talented and you have no right to put him down especially if you have no background or knowledge in music.
In conclusion, stan joochan and shut up if you have nothing nice or necessary to say.
Even if he didn't play it live, it doesn't reduce the fact that joochan is an idol that can play violin.. and didn't reduce the fact that Golcha is brave enough to bring uncommon music to the viewer.. they must be ready with the critics and speculation but still bring the best performance..

진짜 울림 최대 장점 악기 이용한 라이브.. 극대화 시킨 무대ㅠㅠㅠㅜ 돈바른 세트에 화려함은 아니었지만 음악성+무대장악력 진짜 제대로....콘서트에서 진가가 드러나는 무대라 화면에서 전달이 덜되었다고 느껴짐ㅠㅠㅜ 갠적으로 킹덤 무대중 가장 소름돋는 무대였다고 생각합니다.. 현장투표였으면 1위 하고도 남았을것 같고요ㅠㅠ

와.. 그냥 갑자기 로투킹에 빠져 계속 보고있는 머글인데... 애네 1위 못 한 거 진짜 이상하다 싶을 정도로 너무 잘했다... 진짜 아티스트같아.. 이게 아티스트의 무대구나 싶음 가수인 만큼 퍼포먼스와 음악성을 둘 다 잘 살린 무대인데 이게 왜 도대체 1위를 못 한 거지? 싶음...로투킹들이 다들 너무 퍼포먼스에만 집중한 건 아닌지ㅜㅜ 이 무대 지금 6번 째 돌려보고 있을 정도로 무대 잘 꾸몄네..
맞아 너무 퍼포먼스에만 집중함. 로투킹 피디 자체도 퍼포먼스에 치중해서 라이브하지 않고 립싱크하는 걸 권장하기도 했고. 투표도 자체적으로 진행해서 이해되지 않는 순위를 받기도 한듯ㅠㅠㅠ

I am a goldenness but mnet just stopped giving jj screentime after the 1st episode so we couldn't hear his funny lines in the last two episodes, so I don't think it will make that much of a difference. But I'll definitely miss their beautiful performances 🤧🤧
