  • Hi all! I have been wanting to make a video like this for a long time. I finally got to work on it yesterday. I had a few challenges with filming so yes there are a few hiccups. Overall I hope it is helpful for anyhow who is scared to get their Scan n cut out of the box!
These machines are truly amazing it just takes a few tries.
    Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for this great basics tutorial. I bought a 2nd hand machine 3 months ago and never taken it out of the box. Had no time to learn how to use it until now. I look forward to learning more from your videos. 😃 Belinda

Thank you for this beginner tutorial. I bought my ScanNCut over 4 years ago. I was rather intimidated by it all so didn't use it. I will definitely be trying it again after watching your video. 😊

Thank you for this lesson. I’m a visual learner and I could read the manual 10 times and still get confused. You did an excellent job. 😊😊😊

I am so happy I found you!! I bought my Scan n Cut almost 3 years ago. I watched some other tutorials, etc., but used it very little. I ended up homeschooling 2 young ones during Covid in 2020 when schools shut down, and when I survived that I went back to other tools that I was familiar with...my comfort zone. Homeschooling was not my comfort zone, but I ended up enjoying it. I vowed this year I was going to conquer using my Scan n Cut! I love the way you explain things in detail, and I learned a lot, so I hope I will find more videos from you about this! I have more confidence now. Thank you very much!!

Thank you, I have had my machine for at least 4 years, and for some reason I have had a block where I couldn’t make myself use it. I have learned so much and I’m only half way through the video!

I did the same thing, had mine 5 years but never could get the nerve to try it. This was an excellent tutorial. 😊😊😊

I know this is was a few year ago but I had to say thank you!
It was so encouraging to hear that you prefer this over a cricut.
I love your down to earth way of explaining things. I'll get the most out of my machine now, thanks to your videos!

Thanks for a great tutorial. I haven't pulled mine out in years so I need this refresher. One tip I remember from long ago was that if your mat looses some of its tack you can use little pieces of tape at some out of the way edges to hold it down.

Wonderful, I am going to look for your other videos. Like many others I have had my scan n cut for way too many years still in the box. I took it out today.

I have 3 scan n cuts and I downloaded all the patterns from each one, so I don't have to go through all that looking. Plus I never realized, there were some cute patterns. Love all my snc's. I use mine primarily for fabric they cut out all my patterns and fabrics for doll clothes.

Thank you for a useful, helpful tutorial. It gives me confidence to try again.if i had watched this first I could have saved myself some grief when the machine did not cut through my objects.

Thanks for a great presentation. I'm NEW, I have a Brother DESIGN N CUT but I figured that your info would help take the mystique out of my first try. There seeems to be no videos for my model... I hope this works for me. You have a nice way of presenting the info, like you care. It's not about the 'clicks' that you get. In good faith I have also subscribed... hope your info is relevant.

This was great! Just bought mine new off the market place on FB. Seems my blade doesn't even cut paper until its at 3. I feel like the teal paper was not placed properly. Has anyone else had that as an issue? Also have you ever cut fabric? I want to do felt for quiet books. Have any videos on that subject by chance? Thanks again. I was afraid to even turn mine on until watching this video.

Is it possible to take an image and manually program it to cut different patterns on multiple copies?
I want to create a 3D effect by layering ~15 copies with progressivly more elements removed from each layer.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I got my scan and cut from the marketplace only used 3 times and still in the box. I’ve used it a few times but not as much as I should. Does the scan and cute multiple images at once and will it cut an image multiple times?

Do you have a video on Scan’n’cut showing how to cut stamped images without the white border around the image, etc?

  • @trudievick2359

How does this compare to Cameo 3? I would love to be able to stamp on paper and then run through something and just cut out shape. Is this what I'm looking for? The cost of dies is killing me. I'm a card maker. Thanks.

Very nice video. I noticed that your screen is showing inches. Mine is mm and I can't seem to change that. Suggestions?

    • @gundi8343
      @gundi8343 2 роки тому

You might change it to mm. Push the wrench button on the left side of your screen, where you can change the language, the next row is to switch from " to mm, at least with mine, a CM550DX.
