I don't think they are going anywhere and will only spread out destroying o/op. I believe trucking is in a drastically changing moment and o/op will be ebolished, and not by accident. There will only be few divisions that will demand o/op that they will allow. Days of buying a rig and giving it hell will be over..
@@lvillelville Trucking in general is dying, flip-flop pajama pants wearing steering wheel holders and automated trucks are the future… we had a good run
You got me interested in the lease purchase, I live near Youngstown Ohio so by your videos it sounds like living between Cleveland and Pittsburgh is a good area
Im gonna head to crst in 3 weeks im currently still a lease driver for p&s transportation been there 5 years but i hate the dispatchers i got to get on that load board and im gonna use you as a referral gonna put my 2 week notice in next week
Thats exactly why I left flatbed we have a line from mi and oh to tx. All them new ppl came in and lowered the rate, crazyyyy its not worth the hostel, honestly
Hey, there is more out there go get it👍…. I am slowing down here towards the end of my career, once in a while I’ll get out there and tear it up for a week or so but the days of doing that week after week are pretty much over for me
Whats up brother. Happy 4th. Sorry to comment on the holiday but just wondering have you seen successful teams do this? Im out of Cleveland oh area and i see they are looking for team LP drivers. After watching a few of your videos im really thinking of joining the crst crew. Have a great day and happy holiday to you and yours
@@robertgriffin8259 flatbed is not team orientated , most good runs are 500 to 700 miles tops… teams make good money running coast to coast and flatbed Freight just isn’t that way….. either scabbing for UPS , FedEx or pulling a reefer is what you want to look into for a team
Yep! Plus, they run rundown crap Volvos that were bought by government grants, they don’t maintain them, They run them on bald tires, half the time they don’t pay their insurance, but we live in a Walmart world and the customer wants cheap most of the time so it is what it is🤷♂️ All you can do is change lanes and try to find an area they’re not in but eventually this new breed of truck driver (or flip-flops as I call them) will be industry. Standard for all of trucking , Luckily, I’ll hang up the keys before then but the handwriting is clearly on the wall for the future of trucking, and it breaks my heart😔

The white Volvo!
How are the CRST lease trucks? Beat up or decent?
When you say Chicago are you including Portage and East Chicago?
Yes brother chicago to michigan city we consider all Chicago
The whole bottom of the Lake including the Indiana side , and the trucks vary but are in good shape overall
@@xStr8UPDoPex - I moved to Texas from Chicago and have been hauling coils out of IN and OH quite a bit.
Worst part is they’re hauling stuff for $2 a mile and think they’re doing good cause they’re used to their 1.50 a mile
