I have been out here for 30 years. It's been up and down the whole time. I've learned more about the business of Trucking in the last few months as I've paid attention to my costs and not the rates

Props to you for acknowledging economics. Almost all the other channels blame the rates on biden as if the day trump is inaugurated (assuming he wins), the rates immediately go to $4 - $6/mile. People would make better decisions if they would just understand basic concepts and not overly complicated conspiracies.

Not sure if it will fit. I think I have a door handle in the shop. Bought 2 when I had my T600 1995 model. If it will work, and I can find it. You can have it. Forgot It would be a pass handle. Not sure if they fit both sides or not. Also have a new door seat for the Pass side.

I pay .15 cents a mile but I hear they upped that after I came in. Also after every quarter they put something on called hub miles true up that's usually anywhere from $500 to $800. I guess they can't track all my miles in real time I'm not sure why that happens. You would think they know everyday how many miles I drive.

I disagree, the policies of the government has a great deal to do with the economy and inflation. Otherwise, inflation would have been “out of control” 4 years ago.

Late to comment on this video, but I'll throw in my .02...as far as maintenance is concerned...they grease trucks and change filters! I've been here just over 2 yrs now (250K+ Miles)....4 oil changes! Oil is changed during PM's...lol If you need something done to the truck, you have to deal with VRT to get something done and await approval (cheapest option costing valuable time) ...if the repair costs too much money, they simply want to put you in another truck...the "full maintenance" statement is a joke...they make so much money on our maintenance miles alone, it wouldn't kill them to take better care of these trucks...they give new meaning to the term "nickel and dime" when it comes to what they hit us drivers up for! Sadly, I've got one foot out the door as I just don't see things changing anytime soon...if some of these newer drivers would start looking closer at their #'s and calling BS when they see it, maybe things will change...best analogy I could give would be the Music industry back in the 60's thru the 90's....Music Companies (Trucking) made all the money...Musicians (truckers) living the life, but no money! (Lease Purchase) Dont' get caught up on what the Truck brings in...focus on what You deposit!

I have learned a lot from your videos. Great information. I am an owner operator pulling a flat bed and have learned a great deal from you. Here I am again seeking information from experienced people like yourself. I am trying to track down my sudden loss of fuel mileage. I replaced all 8 drives and overnight lost around .5-1 mpg average. I have owned this truck for almost 4 years and it has always been consistant 6.5-7 mpg. I track the mileage on every tank of fuel.I replaced all 8 drive tires and immediately went to 5.8-6 mpg. I mostly travel the same areas all the time so I have ruled out the terrain. I know you just replaced all of your drive tires. Have you noticed any difference at all in your fuel mileage after replacing your drives? As always thank you for your time

Matt, please,please, please don’t stop doing these videos no matter how the wannabe’s get. I for one have learned so much great info from you. At 54 I started driving. I’m an O/O and flatbedder when I’m not doing ag work. Nobody is out there giving such no nonsense and straightforward how-to’s on this stuff. I would have been lost without you sharing your expertise. I still go back and watch your priors as refreshers when I’m about to load something that I don’t do every day. I for one appreciate you more than you know.
