That's why I went with a sport shield from Memphis Shades. There's a whole lot less BS because no need to extend the light etc. Much better also when you pop off the shade to ride naked. Less money too.
Hey bruh, are you sure you didn't put the Moon MC block upside down? I believe the rounded part should on top. My Road Warrior sit lower than yours. I have a Dyna Low Riser S.
Just subbed. Love the paint scheme on the dyna. After watching your other video I think I might go with the del Rey shield on my dyna. I have 16” apes and wasn’t sure how the road warrior fairing would look/fit. Badass bikes, safe riding.
Hey bro, I have the same Low Rider but Memphis Shades doesn't advertise their road warrior fitting our bike (because of the top mounted headlight). Could you tell us 14-16 FXDL owners which one you ended up going with to help us fit the fairing?? Would be much appreciated!
did you ever get this install done? I have the 2017 FXDL. I already own the Road Warrior Fairing and Shield, but I need to figure out what Mounting hardware do I need for this bike. Mainly the Headlight Relocation.
Hi mate. Not yet. I use a bag on the handlebars. I have watched several videos on this and if you install the Memphis Shades genuine fairing, they provide everything you need. You can also buy a headlight relocation part from them but when I asked them in an email, I received no reply which is kind of out of order on their part but hey ho, I've bought their fairings before and the cheap copies from such as Motea in Germany, and they do not fit, but use Memphis Shades photos. Very disappointed with Memphis Shades but will buy their screen. @@killdozer3464
Bout to get new pipe on my Low rider. Waa debating between the tbr turnout and stealth pipes makes a new turnout now that's pretty sweet. I was gonna have it be black, unfortunately stainless would look off on my bike. Anyone got any opinions?
You didn’t mention which hardware you purchased to fit your FXDL.. pretty important information since Memphis Shades doesn’t sell a fairing hardware/mounting kit for the 14-17 FXDL.. that vital info could potentially help a lot of people. Thanks for the video.
@@Marvelkid87 Nah man, Memphis Shades says the fairing doesn't fit our bike because of our top mounted headlight. I commented before asking if you could share which road warrior fairing size you got. There are different model numbers for the Road Warrior fairing depending on the bike: MEM7371, MEM7391, MEM7401, MEM7411, MEM7421, MEM7441, or MEM7451.Mounting hardware varies as well. Any chance you know which one you have?
I'm currently researching this for my '15 FXDL. Hoping he figures out what he got, if not I'll come back here and let you know when I figure it out. Would appreciate if you did the same if you find out bro!
Hey man I know you commented 3 months ago so you’ve probably figured it out by now, but his dyna appears to be a 2016 or 2017, I’ve got a 2016 and would have to do the same thing to install the road warrior fairing.
It's the coolest way to set it up. You could go the geriatric route and throw some apes, a sundowner and some short shots but that shits ugly. The west coast syles hot for a reason, its functional and looks dope.
Very disappointed that you’re not putting the FXR fairing on the Dyna. Woulda looked sick color matched to the bike. What happened to the “mini touring” idea? Black does NOT look good on that beautiful Dyna paint you have. Stop doing the same thing every one else does. Boring.
Hard vid to watch.. you can unpin/ pin plugs, never cut & tape.. if you HAVE to cut, solder and heat shrink.. you’re gonna have a fire.. the moons mount cheap sh*t.. you didn’t notice there were no threads to tighten it, and broke the bolt?.. damn..

My bottom clamp doesn’t have a hole for the bolt would it be ok if I just drilled one?

I mentioned everything you need in the video…..
This video is completely useless since nobody knows what plates you used Including you.

do you remember the size for the relocation block bolts?
On the black bike when you had the road warrior what size windshield did you order?
Nice what size is the windscreen ?? 11"
Would this work on a 2002 dyna low rider??
What year is your Dyna? Looking at adding a Memphis shade fairing. May need to add the same headlight extension.

Which road warrior model did you get ? Their memphis shades site says it isnt compatible when I enter my lowrider dyna 2015. Helpppp
I just ordered one for mine I have a 2016 dyna lowrider. Order a 2016 dyna lowrider S and get a moons mc headlight block
@@andrewrusso715 hell ya i just bought a 2016 lowrider too. Already set it all up

I bet your bike looks straight out of wild hogs lmao
Looked better without

Well if you can PayPal me the funds to do it then I will lol I’m not made of money 😅😂
What kind of reply is that? It was your idea. If you don’t want your subscribers giving their opinion then don’t ask for it.
The fxr fairing would’ve looked classy on the white in my opinion 🔥. The black lowrider S already looks dope as heck
