As a young man, I'm a fan of late night american television, and I've always liked Letterman and Conan. It formed my unerstanidng of the global pop-culture, it taught me English, it's a part of my life. Now, as a Ukranian, I'm really glad to see that this clip came up, and, at least in such way, support is shown even here. But I'm sorry to see that it's just a small fraction of the content in my recommendations, even though half of it is ukrainian and european newsfeed.
To everyone reading it, viewers and the chanel administration - this is your fellow human being, a man with dreams and desires, life and goals. I'm currenlty live in war-torn Kyiv, and I'm originaly from Lugansk. Do what you can to stop this war, the war not only for our lives, but for the whole idea of the freedom, western way of life in a way.
Show that to your friends and coleagues, don't be a bystander, rise the awareness, donate. Save us. Save yourself.

I think you will find strong support from around the world. And I believe this is the beginning of the end for Putin. It puts into a stark light the question of authoritarianism versus democracy. And anyone with an Internet connection and a brain can compare life in Russia versus the democracies. This includes ordinary Russians, who at this point have no say in their government. And I hope this puts an end to the flirtation of conservative political groups in Europe and the US with Russian-style authoritarianism. It leads to oppression.

Dear friend. I live in Wisconsin, a northern state in the USA. Surrounded by Minnesota, Canada, Michigan and Illinois. We are famous for dairy farming and the Green Bay Packers. I live an hour away from Minneapolis. I want to assure you that you are in EVERYONE’s hearts, minds and mouths. I live in town of about 17,000 people. To be honest…, I can’t say that the majority of us, non-politicized, people were well informed of Ukraine’s challenging, but beautiful inception. But we are now! I have masters/graduate degree in social welfare policy and my knowledge/work has been very locally focused. I have been hospital social worker and a forensic behavioral health specialist. I’m not sure why I’m explaining or sharing this with you other than it’s 1:40 am and I feel a sense of guilt for not knowing more about Putin’s deplorable haunting of your country over the years. My friends, who come from all different backgrounds…. YOU/UKRAINE is all we think about. I was going to sit my 9 and 11 year olds down to explain to them what is currently happening in our world at the moment and was shocked when both of my children had already learned about it at school. Their teachers were teaching them about what democracy is and how there is EVIL/Greed in the world sadly, that try to destroy a peoples’ right to freedoms. I promise you, that if it is being taught in our schools…, YOU ARE AT THE FOREFRONT of all minds and good hearts!!! And yes…selfishly, we as AMERICANS that are not well informed about Military weapons are also extremely terrified about “global oblivion” secondary to far reaching nuclear weapons. But we realize our fears and anxieties cannot measure up to what you all are going through. EVERYONE!!! EVERYONE!!! Every Country is invested in your crises. I assure you the world has never become so unified, so rapidly…, as it has for the sake of your people!! There must be something tremendously special about you all as I reiterate, the WORLD has never been more opposed to the assault on a people, as it is now. If you have not already, and are able…, subscribe to the United Nations meetings on UA-cam. The Russians are lying and citing that Ukrainian extremists are the ones actually bombing and blaming on the Russian Military. Russian president citing that Ukraine is putting out its own “fake news” to trick the world. TRUST ME…..the WORLD KNOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING. I have donated money to relief fund. I know that you may not be hearing what you hope to hear online or in media…. Regarding rescue efforts. But try to stay calm and think about how the impending interventions to provide aid to you and your people… would not be advertised for Putin and his cohorts to read or see. I will do my part to demand the world acts as fast as possible. I will keep constant prayer, love and light in my heart for you and yours. I’m not sure how to message privately on UA-cam…, but if you wanted to chat with someone on other side of world to find out what “WE” are getting to hear and see…maybe we could find way to email/message. I miss John McCain. I didn't agree with him on a lot of issues but he was reasonable and I never had any doubt that he was doing what he thought was best for the country.

You Americans have destroyed Iraq, Libya and Yugoslavia. They helped Poroshenko bomb Donbass. You violated the territorial integrity of Yugoslavia, and then invaded this country. You support dictatorial regimes in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and then hypocritically talk about Democracy. Your politicians justified the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children. People are tortured in CIA prisons. And your human rights activists are talking about Chechnya. You are hypocrites. It was your desire for world hegemony that led to the war in Ukraine. If you did not set up your military bases in the Baltic States, Poland and the Czech Republic, there would be peace.
@@user-rk4ci4ni6p It's never been up to me what is done by the leadership of great nations. If it had been, I would have tried to come to agreements, truces, and treaties 30 and 40 years ago in an attempt to avoid the circumstances that are unfolding presently. With economic co-operation and mutually assured non-aggression, we could have been a great world culture. Instead, we take two steps away from peaceful co-existence for every one step we take toward peaceful co-existence. Both of our nations could have been much stronger and more prosperous if we had become partners of a sort. But this was a naive idea, that something like this could happen. The world is just too big, or perhaps too small, and political differences have been too much to overcome. I can't help but be very sad for the people who have been made to suffer because of the decisions being made by the powerful elites.

I am from "eastern europe", we suffered from Russians a lot. And I was soooo naive about Putin too! I thought at some point he will go ahead, instead he pushed Russia where it was in the last 70 years - back to medieval ages. And Russia is becoming threat and desturction to us again.

Condoleezza Rice is a Russianist who viewed Ukraine as a liability, not an asset. She was the author of George Bush's "Chicken Kiev" speech. She is singing a different tune now, but not in the 90s. Short sighted. She is a Russian specialist, yet she did not warn about Russia waging genocidal war against Ukraine.
What do you think the US has been doing through much of the middle east? Is that not genocidal war?

Regarding the Bush comment about Putin’s soul, Biden, himself, told a reporter that when he met Putin, they were alone and he said “I can see in your eyes that you have no soul” to which Putin replied “then we understand each other.”
