These videos are meant to be educational but also funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro
0:05 As mentioned in the video. Salesman crashed the owners new car. Did not get any more info about this clip, but I'm thinking somebody probably got fired.
0:33 Vehicle missing serpentine belt. So the battery wasn't charging.
0:56 As described in video. Vehicle simply just came in for a oil change but needs a lot more!
1:23 Vehicle came in for an alignment with pretty worn tires on the rear.
1:33 Not low on horn fluid lol, just a bad positive battery cable. Mechanic replaced it and it fixed the issue.
1:51 A subscriber saw this car's very worn tire that he was parked beside at his work.
1:57 Not sure on the exact issue with this one to cause this, but if anybody has any idea, please let us know in the comments.
2:05 As described in the video. Quite the wiring job also... lol. I believe this was on a Toyota RAV4.
2:42 As mentioned, collapsed lifters. Seems to be a common thing on some GM engines.
2:52 A very broken transfer-case. From what I can see it looks like the front driveshaft said bye bye and took out the transfer case and some wiring with it. They didn't mention what kind of vehicle but looks like a Dodge RAM 2500/3500.
3:06 A very broken strut, wow lol.
3:15 As described in video. Tie rods aren't good for towing/pulling. On Kia's the outer tie rods do have a curve to them, but shouldn't be as curbed/bent like the drivers side.
3:32 As described in video. A good reason why rental cars aren't the best to buy sometimes.
3:58 Outro. Thanks for watching! - Авто та транспорт
The horn fluid is not real, just incase anybody is wondering 😜😅. Have a great weekend!
But blinker fluid is.
And I just ordered 3 bottles of the stuff? I knew something didn't seem right
8 minutes in and I'm Number 420... ThaI mean I got to spark up
I wonder why it ain't lol
You would have had me if you said the horn was out of air
If I was the customer with the charger I would have definitely demanded a new car.
Even if they fixed it , that makes the car no longer new in my opinion.
Yup, the dealer damaged it, they provide a new one, even if they have to order it fresh from the factory!
There was a famous case of a mechanic wrecking a special edition Camaro, and the dealer wanted the owner to claim it on his insurance. It was in court for years. Finally resolved, I think.
@@repro7780 That case should have been an immediate toss out from the judge and the mechanic and dealer ordered to pay for it all. Sounds frivolous to me.
Agreed, all that suspension damage could spell issues for life, borderline write off, looks like it hit a kerb
Yeah, depending on what state that was, that looks like enough damage to give it a branded title.
I like how none of these videos are clickbait.
I like how this comments not just like bait
Truth
It's what I like about this channel. You get exactly what's on the tin.
Daily Dose of Internet is another with no clickbait.
Just for that, I let their ads roll to the end.
The amount of mechanic's and sales people that thrash your car is huge. A friend of mine hooked up a hidden camera in his car because he thought something wasn't right when he would pick up his car after a service. It would have a extra 5kms on it. What he saw and heard shouldn't surprise anyone. They were thrashing the shit out of it. Laughing and carrying on.
I don't know what he did but I believe the people involved lost their job and they settled out of court.
I've heard of this happening before. A dealership I worked at, a kid got in a lot of trouble for doing that to a customer's vehicle.
Yeah I am suspicious of the Charger. 99% sure that is spin out, into curb damage. 🤭
The "incident" with that new Charger reminds me of an article I just read before this video about an owner of a 2021 Corvette who brought the car in for a repair involving a ticking in the engine (turned out to be a loose spark plug - GM quality!). When he got the car back the computer valet mode showed that someone drove the car at 148 mph! The dealer gave him a brand new 2022 Corvette, with the dealer eating all the costs.
I just saw the article from that car. It was not even the valet mode that got him, it was the Performance Data Recorder that gives almost every single data point as well as a recording from a camera. I know a dealership with a job opening!!
That someone was the mechanic taking it for a test drive, and was racing with someone.
i mean they pretty much have too... other deal with bit by bit repairs that the owner can pin on the mechanic for driving it rough...they were better off giving him a new car than dealing with that
past winter: I had transfercase oils, front/rear diff oil changed. and the shop also swapped out the transfercase chains. I said OK to all. guess where they tested it? out back through woods. I laughed my ass off and asked the mechanic how it went. he said " perfect didnt even get stuck. I've changed my mind about range rovers' they gave it a free car wash though. Im glad that they tested drive train integrity!
@@gentlemanzackp6591 I'm not surprised it didn't get stuck... Range Rovers are even better than Landrover Discoveries offroad, even with road tyres they are d**m capable offroad machines.
LMAO I was watching the last one about 2020 Challenger and saw the crossmember...and I said out-loud, "what the hell? Looks like someone jumped that from a ramp". 5 seconds later the animation of a Challenger jumping a ramp played. 😂😂😂
🤣🤣 too funny
I have always maintained that the fastest car is always a rental. I don’t care if it’s a crappy Camry or Malibu I guarantee it will be going the fastest over any road bumpy and pothole ridden or not.
@@hallstravis1017 I can verify that
I read where, during the production of the _Dukes of Hazzard_ , they would total an average of two General Lees per episode.
The salesman that crashed the Hellcat is the reason why if I ever bought a brand new sports car, I would order it and watch it come off the truck instead of buying one on the lot with 10 or 12 miles on it. These idiots and anyone who test drives them go full trottle on a brand new engine without breaking them in which can cause permanent damage and premature engine wear.
It does nothing to the engine because the engine has already been used at the factory. Each engine is put on a bench dyno & ran before install. ua-cam.com/video/h5r-K8PkBxQ/v-deo.html
100% that salesman tried to drift and clipped the curb with the rear driver's side.
My car had to be delivered from 100 miles away. Of course, it was driven and not towed like the salesman said it would. However, car came spotless and I was excited to drive my new manual GTI. Changed the oil at 1000 miles just incase because I saw a bit of break-in particles on the dipstick. Engine hasn't used a drop of oil after 3000 miles. Very good sign for a 4 cylinder turbo.
Hate to tell you but break in is pretty much a myth. The only things that need "broken in" is the rings, and the best way to break them in is by running the car hard.
Lmao how many of you are actually mechanics like me? You're all probably also the same people that think a car doesn't need more than 5 seconds to warm up because you think oil circulation is the only thing that matters. Not even going to waste my breath arguing with you misinformed keyboard warriors. Even the guy that runs this channel and puts out all these videos agrees with me, but you all think you know better lmao. Ya'll have a good time now leaving comments telling me how I'm wrong... ✌
0:34. I work at a Benz dealer. I had a car come in like this, but it came in with the RO stating "Replace battery." Battery warning light was on and the customer just wanted it replaced. Come to find that the battery was good, and the scanner is detecting no voltage from the alternator as it was running. Okay, went to look at the alternator and the belt fell off. I did not expect that at all lol. There was a document for alternators being installed at the wrong angle on M274 engines, causing the belt to just fall off. Followed the document to realign the alternator and replaced the belt because it got damaged. Drove it and revved the hell out of it making sure the belt doesn't fly off again. It didn't!
That missing belt was priceless!
How could the other shop claim the alternator and battery are working fine when there's no belt?
@@Ghauster
In some states, an attempt at a repair is the same thing as making the repair.
@@Ghauster You apparentley haven't known too many " mechanics".... 80% of them should not be allowed to mop floors.....
@@ricksmith4736 I grew up around good mechanics. Guys that can do it all from oil change to complete rebuilds. I know far to many of the others as well.
Make sure they use synthetic horn fluid, as recommended by the manufacturer
5w-20 synthetic horn fluid?
My dum-ass mechanic put blinker fluid in the horn fluid reservoir. Now when I lay on the horn it goes BEEP........BEEP.......BEEP.......BEEP.
Right, it has to be Dot 5 Dextrose/F or ur FluetenHeiser won't be FluetenHeising properly and go BEEP BEEP like that guy said.
@@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS Now which brand is that? My mechanic didn't tell me about this. :)
That is what I use because it has a higher mileage rating. My mechanic changes the horn fluid every other oil change. Saves me some big $$. I thanked him for looking out.
People actually pay 90k+ for a Chrysler?? Wow. I wouldn't pay 90 bucks for it, hell, they would have to pay me to drive it. Love your outro. Didn't expect it , it's awesome.
Hahha glad you liked the outro!
@@JustRolledIn Love it , bro!!
Come on bud... How much was ur Prius?
@@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS Don't own a single Toyota. Bud!!
@@2405jacko Your not my bud, Jap buyer.....
The very last one. We used to have a contract with a well known security firm. When we had to explain the rather severe damage to the suspension/steering/subframe, we would state that at some point in time this vehicle had become airborne. They always paid us to fix it.
I am just FLOORED by the condition of some of these vehicles folks are driving. Scary actually, I do not need any convincing to keep full coverage on my 2017 Nissan Frontier I just paid off...Thanks Just Rolled In !!!
How is the cvt transmission holding up? Hey say they are lifetime , but there is documented issues with it failing as early as 10k even twice before end of warranty. You can notice it if you get a whining sound during strong acceleration or even just past 60mph at normal acceleration
@@Pwnulolumad I drove a CVT loaner car once.... A horrible experience...
I love the dead panned voice which speaks volumes about these vehicles and their owners. Never fails to please and has a big shock factor!
Being a retired mechanic and a independent tow-truck owner...you guys are great
funny as hell
3:27 this exact thing happened to me once - the lower control arms hide the tie rods from the front on level ground, so when you put the hooks on around the control arms, you snag the rods too. Unfortunately, the car was towed to storage, so I didn't see the problem until it was time to take the car out for the spring.
Balls.
A mate of mine runs a garage and for things like these he'll actually bring the customer in back and show them damaged/offending item and try to explain what it should look like. He's learned NOT to ask what they did, so he just shows them and tells them an estimate to repair and/or what is likely to happen if they refuse the repair. Ultimately it's on them if they proceed or say no and he's not worried either way. He gets the work or he gets a signed waiver.
In reference to the horn fluid, Amazon sells blinker fluid and headlight fluid ( prank gifts ). When I used to work at a dealership, we offered tire air replacement. We would offer to remove the summer air and fill it with winter air to help improve traction because it was heavier. In the spring it was the opposite because it was lighter and helped save gas. This was done as a gag, and some people really were that gullible! Have a good everyone!
Too funny. Have a great day 😀
I mean...they didn't even take delivery of the car yet, so I guess they get a new one!
Thank God that splitter guard was there to protect the splitter lmfao
That new charger destroyed, if I was that salesman I'd be sick. Horn fluid thats a good one can't wait to see how many people will be at auto zone or Napa looking for it 😂
The news on Monday will be "Horn fluid prices have went to record high!" 🤣 jk
I just got back from Napa with new muffler bearings for my Charger. Sounds sweet!
Just imagine, if he hadn't been so overzealous and just let the car be and handed the guy $100 to fill it up...... Cause you can tell he dogged the hell out of it.... Most likely did the very first neon he had come to the dealer as well.... Continually ripping customers cars. He should of at least gotten some YT vids....
It’s in Aisle 5 next to the blinker fluid.
It got me confused for like 2 seconds cuz he sounded so serious 😂
"Horn fluid." Love it!🤣🤣
Couldn't handle the hellcat 😂👏
The understatements in this video can not be overstated!
You know that salesman had his eye on that charger for a while. Probably wanted to push it to the limit one last time before it left for good.
I've seen that happen before. Worked at a dealership where the gad station was about 3 miles to the station and back and a guy with no valid license, insurance (and not in the country legally) ran a stop sign and wrecked a brand new Z06 that was custom ordered and took a year to get. Needless to say, the sale fell through
The incident with the Charger is the same thing that happened to my dad many years ago. Dad had signed all the paperwork to buy a new 77 Cutlass. The lot boy wast to get gas. He got into an accident and did a fair amount of damage to the car. The dealership wanted to fix the car but Dad insisted they replace it. They refused and again offered to repair it. Dad called a local TV station who intervened. The dealership then offered him a new ‘78 Cutlass at the same price The ‘78 was a smaller car than the ‘77, so he refused the offer. He went across the street and bought a new Chevy Caprice. Not quite he price of a new Charger, but the same shady business practice.
77 Cutlass... I believe that was Car of the year.... VERY popular back when life was much simpler...
My brother bought an MGA, for Christmas I made up two official looking bottles of Lucas blinker fluid and replacement smoke.
That Lucas smoke is rather expensive, and VERY hard to install.
@@61rampy65 Not really. According to the instructions on the bottle you put it in the smoke reservoir, which is located on the skuttle next to the blinker fluid reservoir. It also includes a warning that letting the smoke fluid get too low could result in severe damage possibly requiring replacement of the vehicle.
@@JeffDeWitt ... what they don't fully explain... the battery *IS* the smoke fluid reservoir.
I thought they were racing slicks! LOL!
I feel bad for the new Hellcat owner. That's just sad.
Someone went full on Dukes of Hazzard in that rental Chally! 😳
Fastest car is always a rental car
@@mikehall3976 🤣🤣🤣
The salesman was trying to test the speed in that junt 🤣
On the Jeep turn signal thing: It has one them aftermarket controllers installed. There is a feature where can turn on the rear cam going forward by using the turn signals.
I was thinking bad wire harness ground but didn't know of that feature. Cars may be harder to work on for us home mechanics but the features sure are cool!
Z automotive tazer has the function to turn on the rear camera with turn signals
here in Australia it is illegal for a mechanic or body shop to allow a defective car on the road. It can cost them their trade licence & a big fine.
That's why the customer has to sign a waiver in the U.S.
Can’t believe you guys don’t have stronger tyre laws there, given the stupid rubber bumpers that were inflicted on many imports in the past. Here, below 1.6 mm across the centre 3/4 of the tread will get you 3 points on your licence - 12 gets you banned .
@@warweezil2802 Gudday Chris - I've recently found this site as well. Just incredible what some Americans do to their cars.
i wish the US cared about us that much
@@atticstattic the only time i’ve seen someone have to sign a waiver was when they insisted on leaving the shop during a storm that ended up lasting five days with tires so bald they reflected more than a mirror does
Salesman probably went drifting and ended up hitting the curb, and well I'm not sure about the rest; customer paid almost $90k for it, too! I wonder what happened later after that.
Most salesman don't really got driving skills either. Just hail Mary the throttle like some teenager.
That was my thought, back wheel like that, front like that? That's a tank slapper into a gutter then across the gutter.
If I had 90k to spend on a car it wouldn’t be from that manufacturer
Depending on if the dealership could get a replacement or not, either the sale is essentially canceled and dealer sells the car for salvage or the dealer eats the cost and orders an identical replacement.
@@Sashazur yeah, who would pay 90k for that POS?
The bumper protectors on the Charger did there job. AMAZING!!!
Dude... That's a wide body Hellcat. That guy is SO fired...
Nice thing about the new charger. They can give you a loaner while they order you another one.
I love the Spaghetti Trailer Wiring lol.
Someone definitely jumped that rental 😂🤣😂🤣
Bet the salesman that drove that hellcat wish it was a real Snickers commercial 😁
The camera turning on because of the turn signal actually seems like a good idea tbh
i'm assuming somebody bought it used and didnt know that the previous owner had installed a Tazer Mini, which allows you to turn on that option
@@Perfikt85 I was looking for the comment so I wouldn’t have had to say it lol. Tazer or Tazer Mini for sure.
rental car is choice. had a customer rent a hemi charger when they came out and when enterprise got it back it had a v6 in it. 3 day engine swap. turns out they may have stolen the engine
Wow lol. I've heard of that happening before. Cheap engine I guess lol
Good lord! Never heard of such a deal!
Well, it shouldn't be too hard to track the guy down because you have to give a lot of info to rent a car.
I'M GLAD SOMEONE NOTICED
Mad to do such a thing. The V8 will use far more fuel than the V6..
Company will keep renting it as a V8, customer will pay fuel for the economy of a V6. Everyone wins!
Always remember to check the horn fluid and the blinker fluid. 💙 T.E.N.
The charger one, that guy definitely was speeding
I'm surprised there aren't many just slammed into the shop story's about cars not having brakes, which I've heard many story's about
We've had some I think on previous episodes. But I've heard and seen it happen lots, or people forgetting to pump the brakes after doing a brake job.
"I got work done at another shop" never something a mechanic likes to hear
That trailer hitch was definitely some random U-Haul place that also does hitches. I’ve seen some hitch installs that just make you scream “Why, oh why?!?!”
Thank you for adding the horn fluid disclaimer. God only knows how many people would take something like that seriously.🤨🙄👍
🤣 you never know.... lol
That's not the blinker fluid reservoir ? ? ?
My horn stopped working.
I have a 2004 Chevy Avalanche.
Where do you put the horn fluid?
I checked the manual and couldn't find it.

Yay! Have a great weekend. 👍
You’d be surprised what some dealerships let the employees get away with; especially if it’s family … but yeah, probably a new job opening
Paying $89,000 for a Dodge Charger is a sign of brain damage
1:45 🤔🤔🤔 I might be wrong but this one sounds like pure Chris fix handiwork 😂🤣😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Customer : WTF happened to my new Dodge.
Previous Dodge owners : " it left the dealership"
The Jeep JL or JT @1:57 with the backup camera turning on when the turn signals are turned on probably has a Tazer JL installed. It is an option that you can enable with it.
Interesting! Thanks for sharing.
0:15 Watch the dealership be like, "It was wrecked when we sold it to you, nothing we can do."
Those collapsed lifters - I once got an old well worn motor and one of the valves hardly moved, I found out the cam was not flat as when I adjusted it all the way down it would work. Later when I took it apart I found that lifter was so worn it went all the way through making a small hole in the bottom. I used to keep it in my tool box to show people.
Nice videos always enjoy them!!! I do have one crazy for you though I wish I would have taken video back in the day... around year 1997-1998 or so.. I use work at the dealership heat got so hot 110-115f and blew out a window a passenger side window!! Because of the heat!! Figured out they had a recall on those those Buick cars with no cab vent!!
Our manager said make sure you crack open all the windows on those new cars if it gets over a hundred degrees
Thank you, glad you're here!
And wow, never heard of that before. That would scare the crap out of somebody driving on a hot day.
@@JustRolledIn it was a very rare thing people don't see it nowadays but newer cars are protected against that
Hell, I'd want to check the rating on the Tires! That's some hot weather.
I once owned a car where operating the handbrake would stop/start the drivers electric window! Not sure the garage believed it but turned out the wiring loom went too close to the handbrake mechanism and it had chafed through! Another car (same make and model) you couldn't stop the rear wiper from working - I traced it to the tailgate loom and all the wire insulation had gone brittle and flaked off shorting the circuit to live.
DOT 5 silicone brake fluid can be used in place of Horn Fluid, but you must NEVER you use blinker fluid.
And Fog for fog lamps is universal for front or rear lamps !
Had a friend use power steering fluid for the brakes because 'They are both brown.'
I love horn fluid! So clean and clear!
dude the rearview camera with signal light is brilliant, and was probably coded in by one of the car's owners
Much better why you explain some of them. Love the channel keep em coming buddy.

So many fun things to screw with people. When I was in the Army we got a new Bradley Hull Mechanic...set him to work with a piece of chalk and a ball-peen hammer to find soft spots in the armor. Good news! He found a few! Lucky for us!
We also had a new Motor Pool Sargeant who, when ordering some mundane part, typo'd the PN....6 weeks later we were delivered a shiny new UH-60 Blackhawk. Unfortunately we had no pilots nor an airfield. That one still blows my mind, for a number of reasons.
"still new!" at 1:25 and in Winter states. That's also "I'm Dead. Like Red Ded."
I liked everything green on the pictures at the end.
Horn fluid made me laugh
1:27, Looks like an infamous Mexican Cheetah Slick!
wow thats some hightech flexing bodywork! at 0:56!
Took the bed off my truck the other day, only had 2 bolts holding it down. The other 6 bolts where still there, it's just the metal around the bolts was gone.
some duct tape and baling wire would hold it on
😂@3:27 you needed new outer tie rods anyways🙄
Perfectly bald tires! That's how they come for racing!! Perfect!

I like the blinker that turns on back up cam that’s good for switching lanes. No more blind spots
Customer states salesman murdered by customer.
that sales man was to excited to gt to drive it lmao
That trailer hitch/wiring job, WOW. I don't know how many "friends" I've told things like "don't use wire nuts, those are for construction". A few things can translate over to the automotive area but most don't like those self tap screws. Even if you're going to use self tappers, those are the wrong ones.
I just don't understand the spray foam. Buying the correct hitch for the car seems like a way easier job than whatever abomination that was
I finally changed the horn fluid in my car…wow, what a difference 🤪 I’ll have to try that one on a customer 😁
Great stuff 👏👍😜
yep .. just make sure the horn fluid is the same color as the car
Don't forget the smoke in your wires. If the smoke gets out, your car won't run.
I work for a garage and towing company. So ive seen a lot ppl use the tire rod ends as hook points, and have had my own complaints of a shaking front wheel dismissed, until the wheel would turn on its own. Turns out it was a failed retaining washer along the shaft for the piston. Ive also seen ppl not use the proper amount of strapping to secure a behicle on the deck of a truck, and forget to lock the winch drum.
Its amazing the death traps people are driving every day !!
Not sure that driving them into shops really counts as driving them that way every day~!
Tires, smooth.
Brain, also smooth.
Thanks for sharing. Wonderfully funny. Especially every ones comments. Sure glad to learn about blinker fluid. Is there a tire tape for when my tires become worn? LOL
🤣 tire tape. We can make something work for you lol.
when the tires get worn, just staple some good sandpaper on. Be sure to use the long staples so the sandpaper wont get loose
