      @NickTheGreek0410 Yeah, that's the point of checking... if the tire is flat because of a leak or needs to replace the tire therefore the tire should be ready for trip

      @NickTheGreek0410 yes if I'm going to be in the interstate going to Vegas or a 4 hour plus trip 🤦🏽‍♂️ the whole point of checking is if the tire needed to be used during trips the tire won't need air because the tire is ready to perform

    3-5k is from the 80s. It's 7.5-10k miles, and sometimes up to 15k. Just check fluid levels regularly and use good oil. They make universal coolant that can be used and mixed with any make, model and color.

    • @thecookiemonstergaming3089

      If you actually read the recommendations from your car’s manufacturer and if they recommend a 10k oil change dig deeper a lot of them will have a fine print stating only change oil every 10k miles if you drive At least 55 miles per day otherwise change more frequently at the 6 month mark for most. Most people Don’t qualify for a 10k oil change but still do it one of the reasons new cars don’t last as long as the old ones.

    Change air filter 2-3 times a year. Holy shit thats a waste of money. Unless you live in an area with dusty roads or something I would just do it every 10-20k. Use an air compressor to blow it out a little if you want.
    Everything else though is pretty solid advise.

    Big thing you missed here is if you need to top up your coolant you have a leak. Don't just top it up, find the source or take it to a shop so they can pressure teag it for you. Coolant should not go down, it is in a sealed system so somthing is wrong..

    • @every-thingchannel
      @every-thingchannel 8 місяців тому

      Not a sealed system

    • @thecookiemonstergaming3089
      @thecookiemonstergaming3089 8 місяців тому

      Some coolant systems naturally evaporate fluid and or will have a automatic release for it. Just because you’re topping it off once or twice year doesn’t mean anything when it comes to if its leaking or not.

      Check the voltage while cranking with a multimeter.
      With no load, a battery should be about 12.5 volts. While cranking the engine, it should never drop below about 9.5 (many don't drop below 10). If yours measures under that when cranking, consider a replacement soon to help keep you from being stranded.
