This kind of vlogs are so motivating. You wake up with a strict schedule and you go through it, which is easier said than done. I really appreciate your content and how you say and do exactly what you stand for, unapologetically 💖
Thanks for the Jasper MacDermott rec! I usually prefer female coaches, but I checked out his stuff, and he seems like someone I could follow. I can't wait to try his workouts.
Whoo -another Vlogmas! Love these - thank you! So glad you liked Jasper! His programs have been my go-to for the last year or so. I found him and was like “This is basically everything Justina talks about for a great workout.” 😊 Here’s hoping his subscriber numbers increase.
These have quickly become a highlight of my Saturday. In recent years I've found the build up to Christmas much more difficult than previously and your videos have certainly helped this year. So thank you
Add me to the list of people discovering Jasper MacDermott! Happy Holidays! Would love a future video revisiting core strength and breathing for stability through moves like push-ups and front squats (I mean it applies to everything). You are SO solid in these moves and it reminds me how most of us, me included, have growth opportunity in this area of fitness.
We only got our tree last week and haven’t decorated yet. This holiday season is feeling particularly heavy and everything seems more draining than normal. Thank you for consistently putting out great content and I hope you have a happy and healthy holidays with your family!
Back when I did 75 Hard during Fall 2020, HASFit were some of my favorite UA-camrs to use for my indoors 45 minute workout! Also going to check out Jasper MacDermott! And yes, I feel the same about Mr. & Mrs. Muscles very little rhyme and reason to their workout videos.
Hi Justina, I really like these vlogs! I did a few HASfit workouts pre Covid and really liked them. Then Coach K and Claudia diappeared for a year with no explanation. After 2022, there are some strange things I noticed: a 30 minute workout is just a 40 minute workout cut short. And sometimes Claudia messes up the couting (30 reps instead of 20). I will definitely check out this Jasper guy. Thank you, have a merry christmas!
Say for eg: when training biceps i keep reading about lengthened and shortened position but for each exercise i feel the tension when,i stretch my arm not when i get it closer to my body I hope you can understand my point !
@JustinaErcole No, i am referring to the challenge of the exercise for me they are all hard when I go down and also hard when i try to go against gravity .. so how can i tell if the exercise in lengthened or shortened position?
Hi Justina! I’ve seen you mention your certifications in a few of your videos, but I’d love to learn more about the specific certifications you hold and which ones you think are most important for becoming a successful personal trainer. If you’ve already talked about this in a video, could you share the link or direct me to the one where you go into more detail? Thanks so much!
Were you talking yourself through your studying flashcards? That's how I remember things, too! I'm primarily an auditory learner, and saying the material out loud really helps! I think you said you are studying for the CSCS, correct? I am a high school science (Biology/Anatomy) teacher, and I want to get that certification because right now there is no true teacher "test" for human anatomy. I feel like if I can pass that test, I do really know what I am talking about! Did you purchase the review material from NCSA? I am considering signing up for the membership and then getting the materials and test at a discount. Happy Sunday!
I was!! I have to talk it out for it to make sense lol. And yep it’s for CSCS. I bought the textbook but I’m doing a study course through The Movement System. Highly recommend!
Which muscle groups are you referring to? It’s going to be different for each exercise, not necessarily each workout. And it comes down to when the muscle is under the most load: while lengthened or shortened. This comes down to knowing basic biomechanics!
I'm not really your target demographic (as a sometimes competitive powerlifter) but I do support smart women dispelling bullshit in the fitness industry. Plus, your vids keep me company while I'm on the treadmill 😄 as I fight to improve my own trash CV fitness...
@@sharonlloyd6617I think it would be difficult to review Jessica’s workouts because the ones on UA-cam are older. The style of her newer strength workouts have changed, and they are on her streaming platform. So, it’s difficult for Justina to review an instructor that doesn’t have current workouts on UA-cam. But I can relate, I would like to see a review too!
I had recommended Jasper last year when you did vlogmas. Happy that you finally got to try his workout. Before getting on to your programs i was pretty much doing his programs. For me he truly stands out in this UA-cam workouts space and its disheartening that he still doesn’t have enough subscribers. Hoping that through this more people discover his channel 😊
Hi! I commented on your other video and just sent you an email. I hope you see it and tell me where maybe I can start in the fiitclub while waiting on your training waitlist. Fingers crossed you have a ground zero program for me 😊😊 thank you for all the free helpful content!
That really cool. I lived in NYC too. I would to challenge in you in a tug of war with all the work out 🏋️♂️ you been doing. Made the strongest one win
Have you seen her schedule? She’s a busy gal and doing makeup is the time when she’s sitting in one place right by the window. That’s smart multitasking! Also it can work as a visual hook 😜
Because I don’t want to wake up 15 minutes earlier to build in the time and narrate the video. This is how I’m able to put out free content for you. If you don’t like it, you can make a donation through UA-cam now and that can fund the extra time it takes. Thanks!

Your tree is gorgeous! And your squat depth enviable!
Thank you on both accounts!

I think for biceps you’re talking about the long or short head, which are two different parts of the bicep!

It was for a brand deal over on tiktok :)
@@JustinaErcole I'll check it out!

( i have hard time understanding this part everytime)

Hey Sharon! Unfortunately I’m no longer doing workout reviews, which is why I announced I was doing one last batch for vlogmas. Sorry!
