Can we take a minute and appreciate all the hard work Cas puts into these videos?! I love how real and genuine she is.
Totally agree!!
Her video production lady does a great job. She hired the right person.
Yes, that's why i'm watching her for years.
And how cute is she in that apron? ☺️
Aw thanks!
We love your silliness, Cas. Don't ever change. 😂
I'm here for the toilet songs.
As a former hazardous waste starte inspector and retired physician, rest assured that you are not "ruining the environment" with a single bleach tablet or a little foaming glass cleaner. Bleach breaks down into water and salt, and you're cleaning areas that have bacteria that can cause illness.
As far as teaching driving, we solved that in our house. My husband taught my son (who is a mini me) without issue (my husband thinks my quirks are cute). I taught my daughter (mini him) without problems, as I think my hubby's idiosyncracies are cute! Win win.
Thanks for the science lesson - always good to have a fact check!
Despite that I would think baking soda in the back of the tank is an option I am considering…
Cas this video is hilarious! All so real and we can relate with it all! I don't know what my fav's would be.... there are so many!... kicking the dishwasher, getting real with the toilet, clutter baskets galore, etc., etc. Priceless!
So glad you enjoyed it!
I laughed so many times for this one thanks as always Cas and congrats on the 1M
Oh my gosh I totally agree with Cas and your comment here! 😄 Barb D
@@Clutterbughilarious useful and oh so relatable!
Merry Christmas 🎁 from Barb D! I just love you!! 😍
Agree ... 😂
Cass - you're just the best! The singing to yourself (it's me!), the clutter catcher ("it's just a basket"), kicking the dishwasher (why does it never close right?), the simmer pot ("I want people to think I have my life together") - it was a great video and made me feel better about how I clean. No one judge me for my singing - CASS DOES IT TOO!
🤭. Thanks and glad you liked the video!
Agreed
Cass you made my day. I was having a bad day and my depression was at a all time high but, as soon as I saw your video you made me laugh. Your energy is so pure. Thank you for being you!
Depression can hit especially hard this time of year when we perceive others are happy and cheerful around Christmas, and we're feeling kind of low. Cass does have that gift of teaching while making us smile and laugh, too. From my experience, laughing is the best kind of medicine to ward off the big D. Lucky us, Cass is the gift that just keeps on giving in that arena. 😊 Who knew you could come here for the cleaning tips and aquire healing, too? May you enjoy the closeness of your family and friends, and have an awesome upcoming holiday.
The “or never” comment about emptying the clutter basket 😂 the moonwalk 😅😅 oh my gosh, thank you for the laughs and great tips.
I don’t have a sister but if I did, I would want to pick you! I’ve been binging your videos this week and I’ve already organized so much! Every time I get tired or frustrated I watch another video and I’m back in the game. Thank you so much Cas!
Cas, this is better than any comedy show! What a BLESSING you are!!! I soooo needed to laugh today!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for talking about driving anxiety. I didn’t know I had so much company. I absolutely hate it! Being a passenger is almost as bad. My husband usually drives, which is fine but as he’s getting older, he is getting more distracted. Between all these roundabouts being built (I hate those) and changing familiar stop signs to All Way Stops, I’m always shouting to stop or watch the cars. I’m happy to stay home and relax with my hubby and dog
I HATE ROUNDABOUTS TOO! Mostly because I don't trust the other drivers to use them properly. What if I'm not in the right lane to turn left? Or turn right? What if I have to do a right turn on the second turn and the driver next to me won't let me through? Will I spin forever until I can get out of it?? I think National Lampoon's European Vacation in the 80s traumatized me on roundabouts 😂
I really like roundabouts but some are poorly designed and they are terrible.
Consider practicing.
You could study an Arial photo of it on Google Maps and think it through.
That helps me.
Go for coffee early on a Sunday Morning
and take a few spins around the roundabout.
Get familiar with it.
Just get in your turn lane and take your turn.
When it’s busy you’ll still hate it (hopefully less) and some drivers are rude,
but at-least you will be more confident about how you maneuver in that space.
@cipherGreat idea! Thanks! 😊klosenuf9242
That brown spot in your toilet was actually a spot on MY screen!!
😂 When I first read your comment I was like...How BIG was a brown spot in my toilet that someone could see it in the video?! 😬💀
😂❤@@Clutterbug
😂❤
Hilarious 😂😂😂❣
OMG! You stomping on the difficult bottom dishwasher drawer made me literally laugh out loud! I love watching your videos! They always make me smile and learn new things to keep my house cleaner.
You are so welcome!!! Glad you enjoyed it!
Driving anxiety! I hear you. When I turned 70 I stopped driving. I'm able to get rides with family, friends, etc. any time I need to. But actually I'm such a homebody there's no where I want to go and nothing I want to do that involves driving. Don't miss it at all! Merry Christmas, Cas!
I'm 52 and feel the same way.😊
I hate driving at night at 65...try to not do it during the winter when dark.
She is adorable. Watched for the first time … and I’m hooked😂😂
UA-cam suggested this video to me & I was dubious at first, but not only did I learn some useful tips, I legit LOLed through the whole thing. I didn't think cleaning could be so entertaining.
I'm so glad you UA-cam suggested it and you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
The moon walk ... hilarious! Actually so much of this video was hilarious. I may have to go back and rewatch and pay attention to the tips you shared, I was so distracted with the humor. Thanks for the laugh out loud moments.
The tip to take a picture really helps. I found that out on accident. I'd take a cute pic of my cats and decide not to post it to whatever social media because I'd realize there was clutter in the pic that I didn't want anyone to see! :D
Loved kicking in the dishwasher!
Too funny😂
It was like looking in a mirror. 😂
😊
Something I learned a long time ago from my father-in-law of all people, is that cleaning glass and mirrors with just water only is really the best option. You just get some water on your hand from the sink. Sprinkle it all over the mirror wipe it down with a paper towel maybe do a second Round of that if it’s really bad and poof it’s beautiful and streak free.
This made me laugh out loud “Spray and walk away…30 seconds… move on” 😅😂 This is the cleaning video I need in my life. You are my people ❤
Okay when Cas started remixing thrift shop I had a whole new appreciation for her 😅❤
This UA-cam channel has been great for me. I've spent a good part of the last two days decluttering - it feels so good to get clutter out of my house before Christmas. I took a large donation of clean blankets & old throws to my local animal shelter yesterday and sent donations to two other places. Thanks, Cas, for the inspiration. A perfect time for a next driving lesson would be Christmas morning - there will be almost no traffic!!
Thank you for the 5 minute routine you shared a while back. I have been mostly bedridden for 4 years, and I have a long way to go before I can dare let anyone enter my downsized space. When I focus on "just 5 minutes," I accomplish something and lie back down to recover from the exertion. I see progress--minimal, but tiny steps will still take me toward a goal. Watching the speed of this video was exhausting. I will now allow recovery time and then get up to tackle another small area for 5 minutes.
I’m so glad I could help!
I hear you! Even tiny steps forward are steps forward. 🐾🐾🐾❤❤❤
It all adds up and you WILL eventually see your progress. It's your stick-to-it-ness that counts.
Cas! We love all of the effort you put into teaching us! Thank you so much!!!
You're so welcome!
Hilarious !!! I’ve never seen you be so funny before !!! Loved it all!!! Love that you have adhd and anxiety 🤣🤣 I can relate !! 😂Also love that you’re Canadian !!! 🇨🇦🤗👍😎
I love the humor you put in each of your videos!
Thanks for sharing this! I needed it! Driving is my biggest anxiety trigger, so I completely understand what you're dealing with. Through medication, our village, and lots of prayer, I, too, taught my daughters how to drive! 😂 We all survived!
I came for the cleaning. I subscribed for the humorus personality ♡♡♡♡♡ I'm dead 😂 at how real this video was to everyday life.
So glad you’re enjoying the channel and thanks for subscribing!
Love you Cas you are the best, thank you for your dedication and help you provided to us, Iam a very old subscriber and eventually we bought a house and you can’t even imagined how much your videos had helped me to set things up, . Family of three but my husband is as messy as having 3 toddlers.
Big time driving anxiety, especially on freeways and areas I don't know well. Throw in night driving vision is getting worse.... I drive back roads in daylight whenever reasonable.
So today I hit the road to visit a friend for the holiday. Normally about 2hr. 15min. on back roads. I got a late start for many reasons. Throughout the trip about 30 min got added to my eta. This meant I was driving in the dark, unfamiliar roads, continously being rerouted. Then my friends driveway is hard to see in the day on a busy road so I missed it. Now late... her son was such a gem and stood at the end of the driveway with a lantern. Oh and one detour in the dark was over a bridge under construction.... ya... no more out of town driving at night for me.
Cas I love this video and well all of them really. Thank you for your contribution ❤
I was in a head on collision in 1998 where a 19 year old boy crossed a double yellow line to avoid rear ending the car in front of him. Well he hit me head on instead, he was in a very large truck and his truck came up on top of the hood of the truck I was in. I passed out from the crash. The force of the impact even caused the back end of my truck to swipe the car in the lane next to me. It was a REALLY bad accident that the police said I was lucky to be alive. I had REALLY bad PTSD from it where I would have panic attacks while driving. I had to go through therapy which thankfully helped a lot. I still can get a little nervous sometimes while driving, but not too much anymore.
You make me laugh and motivate me to clean. Thank you Cas! I too have some anxiety driving and teaching my daughter. I gave her a break and got her a driving instructor or else she may never get her license lol 😅
Merry Christmas. We love you. Thank you for enriching our lives!
Merry Christmas!
I love Cass! The toilet cleaning part when she says, "something either has to be longer or legs shorter". HA!!! The term Olfactory Adaptation, LOL. I just call it "noseblind".
Love this video. My mom cleaned but never taught me to clean so i always appreciate videos that include HOW in addition to what.
Same here! Thanks, Cas! ❤❤❤
So glad it was helpful!
My mom hired a maid to clean and kicked me out of the house while she was there so I never really learned the secrets either. This is great. I love the videos.
I smile every time a Clutterbug video comes on my notification... reminds me of when I moved out on my own and you ( as Malitose 79 ) and Do it on a Dime were how I learned to clean and organize at 18 years old in my 1st apartment ❤
Aw! That's so sweet, thanks for watching for so long! 😊
I love the clutter-catcher😍
Yay!
This video really made me laugh as well as learning a good few things. I just love Cas's sense of humour!
Send that adorable daughter to driving school! I sent my daughter not fighting arguing. My grandson went a year ago, so easy. The toilet, I knew a guy in high school his mother made the boys and men who visited her house to get on their knees to use the toilet. No mess! Great video Cass! You made me laugh!
🎄 Thanks ! You're the Best ❤ I have 11 people coming for Christmas. I work 8 hour shifts. Very Helpful 🤸♀🤸♀
You’re so amazing love all your videos! I finished working and I feel overwhelmed looking at my house so here I am watching your videos and you made me feel so so much better! Love your honesty!! ❤super thanks for being you and always creative and inspiring! Yes always!
Half water, half alcohol, a few drops Dawn … universal cleaner for stone, stainless, tile, glass. We’re trying to use up the misc cleaners and go with this for everything. Cas ROCKS!
Me Cas!! Riddled with anxiety and trying to teach my kid to drive too! Glad to hear it’s not just me!
I have extreme driving anxiety, too. There’s no way I could teach my kids to drive. I’d be just like you. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
My daughter and i have horrible ADHD and i am so thankful for your videos and hacks!
Haha your last part about your child learning to drive was hilarious & made me really lol ❤😂 I’ve had anxiety all morning for no real reason- I needed that good laugh! 😇
Brilliant video, keeping it real Cas. Love it! And, yes to the driving anxiety. I have a small community bubble where I feel okay driving, as long as there is music cranking that I can sing along to. As soon as I go out of my bubble, the anxiety. My son started a new job where I have to drive out of my bubble. What lane should I drive in, watch out for the merging traffic, don't go too slow on the freeway, don't miss the turn off, stay in the correct turning lane. Oh my goodness. My partner helped me with several practice runs. Driving anxiety, I feel ya.
That’s me as well! Take me out of my driving bubble and instant panic!!! I didn’t realize how many others feel this way until reading the comments.
I have ADHD and do not have anxiety about driving because I think I can take in all the happenings in my surroundings and decipher what I need to do - or prevent what might happen. I like having that control over a situation. 🤷🏼♀️ Also the medicine helps a lot. If you don’t take anything then consider asking your Dr for something. I prefer the extended release med because I don’t have to remember to take it throughout the day. One and done.
Cas you bring me so much JOY!!! Happy Holidays to you and all your loved ones!💖
I’m so glad!
It’s so funny you should mention hip hop being therapeutic for driving anxiety. I have my own driving channels on Pandora (yes, I’m that old 😂) and they’re Cypress Hill & Beastie Boys. My husband will never listen to them but my kids love them! I’m the jumpiest passenger - terrified - but I’m great when I’m driving. Thanks for the video, it’s so helpful, & Merry Christmas! 🎄
This is my favorite video yet!! Your humor and authenticity is a breath of fresh air! It was so funny that you said you think you are passing your anxiety onto your daughter, because, in that very moment I was romanticizing the thought of us being “besties” but then thinking “🤔 I wonder if her energy would recharge me or drain me” 😂😂😂
THIS is why I love you! You’re SO normal and so fun! Thankyou for motivating me to get off the couch with my warm fuzzy blanket and spend a few minutes making my main areas smile
Yay! You got this!
Always love you videos. Best thing for your toilet seat...get a quick release seat. No screw driver required to take the seat off to clean under. You'll get your 6 minute clean back. 😉 Happy Holidays and thank you for always brightening my day. 🫶
With 3 boys in the house, a quick release toilet seat is the best thing I ever found 😂
Thanks!
I'm 63 and still clean my own house. This is the best cleaning video I've seen and I'm going to incorporate your ideas. Thank you so much. PS, my robot vaccum gets lost and runs out of gas. I'm trying to do better, but it's tough.
I needed this SO MUCH!!! Am adhd and my house is a cyclone for reasons unbeknownst to me 🤣. ThankU for giving me the answer to why I CONSTANTLY go in circles while trying to clean, leaving the room and never getting any 1 room finished completely. I’m on Amazon now buying that housekeepers caddy… thank you!❤
You're so welcome - and the tidy tote will definitely help you get your rooms done!!
I needed this video. My great niece and her mom whom I never see are coming to meet my toddler granddaughter for the first time. They asked when, I said any day. My house was clean, then baby got sick, I got sick and the house is a wreck now. I have a horrid cough that keeps me up all night so I haven’t been tidying at all. Last night I semi straightened the baby’s room and started laundry. I need to bring this house back quick. And finish getting well.😭I know what you mean about your own stink, I have a 100 pound Doberman that I am immune to her smell. Thanks Cass!😘
Oh my gosh, have just come across this channel and now I have another addictive channel to watch...... What are you doing to me!!!!!! Gonna take me a while to get to this 30 minute stage (deep clean needed first), but gosh am I going to be sooooo happy when I do get there.
You got this!
I love the comedic version of you !!! I ❤️every version 😊
I'm so glad!
I suffer from Panic Disorder which has caused me to be terrified of being in a car for too long or too far away from my house. I haven't been more than 15 miles away from home in over 5 years. It's devastating, embarrassing, and frustrating. You are doing the right thing by forcing yourself to learn how to drive the firetruck knowing you have anxiety. That's something to be super proud of! Thank you for sharing with us and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Yes! Nose blind is a thing. Lol! Thanks so much for the print out & great tips. Wooohoooo! 🥳🤗
You’re welcome!
You are not alone. I was unable to teach any of my kids to drive because of my anxiety. Which I still have, just not as bad as before. I had a car accident that made it much worse. I was able to get some control over it when I bought a truck instead of a car. Some how I feel much safer and I don't freak out as much. I still have trouble riding with my two younger kids, who are in their 30's. But I don't freak out as much when I have to go on a trip any more.
Swiffer duster = Magic Wand. Love that thing! Love your videos! Happy Holidays!
Right? It's amazing!
Thank you! I really needed a laugh with a dose of motivation today. Such a gift. ❤
You're welcome! 😊
Love all the tips. Thank you! Omg…2 teenage drivers later... 😂. I get you, Cass. I was the same way the first few times, and then I improved. They have turned out to be wonderful drivers. 😊🎉
Hi Cas!! Thank You for this it takes me awhile to clean especially recovering after open heart surgery. But watching this will get things done much quicker. Thank You for your video tips and your funny humor that goes along with it.🥰💜
So glad you liked it! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
@ Thank You Cas!! Merry Christmas!!💜
I always enjoy watching your videos. They bring me joy even if my home stays a crazy mess because I have too much stuff and am lazy. Lol I'll get to it someday.
Hello Cas from the carribean Islande of Saint-Martin. Am taking a minute to say i appreciate all the hard work you puts into these videos! I really love how real and genuine you are. Thanks again and Happy Holidays to you and your familys. ❤
Happy Holidays to you too, and thanks for being here!
LOVE YOUR HUMOR 💜
I have a self driving car as well. Best thing ever!
Cas ❤❤❤ love your living room & thank you for this!!!! 🎉 & the clutter a-ha TAKE A PHOTO!! works
You’re welcome!
Ok, I had my Hubby teach both kids to drive. The first weeks were in a big parking lot on weekends when no one was there, aka his office complex. The next 8 weeks was country driving. He made sure there was stop signs and a few curves. He usually drove to a country church parking lot so they could move to the drivers seat. Next step was pie 😂 They would take in all the country cafés in gradually bigger towns in the area. Eating lunch out was the reward for getting there safely. By the time they were ready for city traffic, I was brought in and we worked on them driving us to school. You've got this! Just take it slower. If you have a riding lawn mower, that's Milo's new summer job! You'll thank me when it's his turn.
*I'm riddled with the end* ❤
😂 I really enjoy your videos. They make me lol while learning cleaning short cuts.😂
Fabulous! ❤ I agree with you... the environment is important but not at the price of my sanity!! Merry Christmas Cas 🎄 x
❤
You're one of my heroes ❤️. Thanks for sharing your driving phobia, and it never occurred to me mine might be caused by ADHD. Terrified of driving over bridges. (I live on an island, lol.)
Thank you so much Cas. Your Work IS so important. ❤❤❤
Now i have to watch some Butterfliy Videos. 🥰☺️
I have terrible anxiety while driving on the highway when the traffic is bad. Without fail, I have someone tailgating me, or I can't get over to the other lane because no one will let me in! Thank you for sharing that you get anxious because I always feel so alone in my fears while driving!
I agree: keep up the quick routines on as many days of the year you can - it truly truly truly works🎉
You have a GIFT!!! You are funny, so funny, and smart and organized and helping us all!! Love you girl!!
Driving anxiety is a huge part of me. I had a brain injury several years ago and have problems remembering things- plus I have ADHD also. I taught 2 daughters to drive and am starting to teach my youngest. I feel your pain. 😂
Omg, trying to catch my breath from laughing. I used to be Mrs. Superclean. I'm older now, no kids or hubs, just me. I love all your tips because you made my life easier. I can fluff and call it good thanks for the holiday laughs. Merry, merry new friend 🧡
You're so welcome and merry, merry to you too!
Clutterbug u bring good advice❤😊who agrees with me
I'm so glad you think so!
You’re so real I absolutely love it. I’m gonna actually subscribe because I need to see everything you’ve put up. A housewife around house at six. I also homeschool so clutter is a constant fight.
Always have a simmer pot going this time of year. Takes me back to growing up in a house with wood heat. My grandmother always had a pot of water for humidity and she added orange peeling and cinnamon sticks during winter. Makes the house smell great!
That’s such a sweet memory! And it’s the perfect way to create a cozy Christmas vibe. Merry Christmas!
@ Merry Christmas!
I like your honest attitude and humor ❤
I am the exact same with driving! And the loud music to calm the anxiety of driving, I have adhd! I feel seen, I’ve never heard anyone link all 3 together, just like that!thank you. Wishing you and your family the most wonderful Christmas ❤
The book Zen Driving helped me a lot.
Yes! Amen to the car anxiety! I have it so bad my husband refuses to let me drive anymore. I am a bit agoraphobic in that I will only drive by myself on specific routes and never leave my city unless someone else drives. I really need to look into defensive driving courses or therapy or something 😅
Me too!❤
you make me laugh with your silliness Cas!! Love your videos and all your tips!
Thanks for brightening my day
You’re welcome!
Love you Cas! I am falling over in laughter😂 Thank you for the video!
I've always considered myself to be a pretty calm person unless- spiders. The end here with your driver's anxiety, though, is exactly how my adult children describe me. One time when the kids were younger, I was lying on the floor watching a movie with my teen sons and the eldest said, "Mom..."
I responded with "What?' and just as I turned my head and my lips closed, a spider ran across my mouth. I felt my over-the-top response was perfectly reasonable and as aI was resisting the urge to strip all of my clothes off right there, I was also shouting, "Why didn't you tell ?!"
His calm reply was, "Because...that." Meaning, of course, my perfectly reasonable response to the circumstance, lol. So I totally understand your driving anxiety.
Very enjoyable and motivational video, as always, thanks!
90's HIP HOP? Absolutely LOVE IT! Def the best era! Thanks for the great tips and looking forward to January's videos because I DESERVE a clean house 🏠🤩
You betcha! The 90s were the best!
I taught my son to drive by taking him to an empty parking lot and just let him get comfortable with the car and drive forward and backwards and parked in spaces. Once he felt he was ready, weeks later, we went to a school that had no activities in the evening and he drove around there. We didn’t move to the next level which were quieter streets until he was ready, another few weeks later. For me this worked great because I wasn’t stressed because I wasn’t throwing him onto the highway or a busy street and he wasn’t stressed because I let him go at his own pace. It’s been 3 years now and he is a very good and patient driver. Great tips by the way!
This re: teaching how to drive. Start with the quiet spots to build up skills, then move to the streets to test them.
This is one of my favorite videos of you! ❤ I loved seeing this silly side of you.
I gave up driving at 70. Luckily I live in a city with good public transport and I get Ubers when I need to. My husband still drives, but i am very nervous, won't travel far, and always sit in the back. My son does drive us occasionally, and I sit in the back. Often I look at my phone. I can't bear motorways and feel terrified. Thanks for the great, fun, video. I'm going to clean the toilet now! 😂😂
I feel like you just described me. I, too, sit in the back seat while my husband drives and I often have to close my eyes or distract myself with my phone. It is especially bad on highways and bridges!!! I completely understand and now share my anxiety because so many others have it as well. ❤
Hey Cas, I rarely comment on any channel but wanted to share how much I love your videos. This one had me feeling motivated (for next Christmas haha) but also I felt really inspired by how "you" you are on screen. I also wanted to share that I passed my driving test just before my 40th birthday - more than 5 years after I first started learning. I was so anxious, that it took me that long before I felt brave enough to book my test! I was late-diagnosed as autistic at 38, and I'm currently on the (very long) waiting list for an ADHD assessment. I *need* to play music when driving too - and it has to be music that my brain knows well. I never did it with my instructor, so I didn't realise how much of a difference it made. I'm on the motorway weekly now, and I honestly don't think I could enjoy driving this much if I hadn't discovered that music soaked up that extra anxious attention! Thank you for sharing - makes me feel less alone, and I imagine it will help others too xx
You are so fun to watch. I’m a short cut cleaner too. I also have anxiety driving on the interstate. Merry Christmas y’all.
Glad you think so!
I loooove our new roomba with a mop
2:04 This is one of the many reasons why I lover her. 😂
😂😂😂 SAME!!!
❤
@@Clutterbug you are truly amazing. As a fellow adhder, with 3 kids, you’ve inspired me to see the positives of having it and that it can be portrayed as a super power. I honestly don’t know how I could’ve gotten through my mess of a home (and brain) without you and your content. 💕
Sooo Many Reasons to love Cas!!
@@angelawouldI conquer!! Although I don't have kids, Cas has helped me Immensely.
😘😘😘😘😘😘
Oh my gosh!! This video and the end was wonderful and hilarious😂😂😂 thank you Cas you made my day!!!!!
Lol the toilet scene literally lol!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
